I like being either in my room with a good book (like Narnia or LotR), or outside on a clear night, away from light, with my telescope.

somewhere I can see the sun setting already... *sighs* it would clear my mind... soothe me to the bones. I love places where I can have peace and quiet.

I would have to say;
1. My room, yeah I know it's so original
2. If I can find one I like to just sit by a stream and watch the water rushing past.

I agree with you Boy Scout in number 2 . Very soothing and refreshing to be just sitting by the stream and listening to the water rushing down...

I live in a suburb, so there's not really any meadows/woods/fields. The only woods are swamps and the only lake is where the sewage goes. That being said, there aren't too many lovely places to be alone. My 3 favorite places, however, are:

1. My room (surprise, surprise).
2. I love climbing on my roof to watch the sunset. There's usually a gentle breeze in the evening, and there's always a beautiful sunset to watch. I love doing that.
3. Corner of a coffee shop. I usually don't get to do this, but I love it when I can. It's so nice to sit in a quiet little corner with coffee/tea, and read a book. Even better, reading in the corner of a coffee shop with a good friend, or just chatting. But that's not alone, so I don't think that counts.

I don't really get much time to be alone, cause I have a family where everything's hoping & there's always more cleaning to do, & a meal to cook, & all that. So the few times I actually can get a few thoughts to myself are when I'm cleaning (mostly dishes), & I can listen to music, or just think or pray & stuff. Also, I like to get up early & journal & read my Bible. It's really relaxing, & I just get to talk to God, & learn abut him. If I don't journal, I feel all wound up!

I usually don't get much time to do this, but I like to play my guitar. I can't really play, but I either just fiddle around & make up something, or look up a song I like & play the tabs. It's helps me if I'm ever stressed out, or anything.

Also, I walk to school everyday, & that's about 12 minutes just to think or talk to myself ( ) or listen to music. It's kinda funny cause I'll be singing really loudly & then someone will walk past me. It happens A LOT!

i think my favorite place to be alone is in my room, on a cold rainy day, curled up under my blanket with a good book. or a narnia book depends on my mood.
i think my room is really the only place i can be alone. unless i take a run. then i can be alone but there is nothin' like sittin on my bed, drinking some hot cocoa reading LWW!!

That sounds REALLY nice. I love rainy days, they're so relaxing...

I would have to say my room. I also love on a rainy day to sit in the living room and just watch the rain.

Favorite place to be alone:
Mostly in my room, I tend to watch movies or sometimes TV. The best time to be alone however is when I am reading a book, also in my room:

I go to youtube, where I have several nature videos set as favorites, no music in them- just nature sounds like waves and/or rain. I get my book and read. BEST time right there!! (occasionally I might listen to soft classical music instead)

My favorite place to be alone is probably in my room either listening to music or reading. I don't like reading in the living room when everyone is around because then my mom starts asking me questions like "What book are you reading?", "What is it about?", "Is it something I would read?", "Is it something that has a good influence on you?", etc. Number one, it interrupts my reading, which really gets on my nerves, especially if it's really good, and number two, it makes me feel guilty. I also like reading outside in the hammock and being by myself in the house if there's a thunderstorm (I love rain).

My favorite place to be alone I guess would be my room. It's the only place I really get to be alone. If I could be alone anywhere, I guess I would pick nature. But I don't really get to do that.
I enjoy reading, writing, going on NarniaWeb and Facebook. I also like planning things, even if it's just for fun and not something I'm actually going to do. And Interior decorating by piecing together, in my head, different pieces of furniture I see in catalogues. I also love photography, which goes well with my love of nature.

Same here!!! I would say my room but as a share a room with my 6 year old sister its not very private.
Also I like my closet(its the closest thing I have to a wardrobe )

In the woods, in a tree, or church! I know that may seem crazy , but it is so quiet and peaceful and I do not have to think about work or school!
