*chokes with laughter at "mzungu"* That word is still part of our vocabulary. People told you that? Haha.
I'm curious- (If it's all right for me to ask.) where did you go for a missions trip? (As in, which village? Assuming that you went to one, of course.)
'Course it's all right. We were mostly in Bungoma (in the far west, almost to the Ugandan border) and spent a few days in Nakuru and Kitale as well.
And I still think it's too awesome that you were born in Kenya Did your family live there, then...?

Lots of interesting reading here!
What is your top place to visit, hands down?
The North Shore of Lake Superior. Grand Teton, Olympic, and Rocky Mountain National Parks.
If you could live in one place/country for a year, where would it be?
Probably Australia or New Zealand. In addition to all the wonderful scenery and unique animals, I'd love to meet a few Down Under NarniaWebbers. And a whole year would give me a chance to really sit back and enjoy all the wonders of the Southern Sky.
(Though it would probably take a year to take in all that Europe has to offer too!)
If you were planning an around-the-world trip, where would you stop along the way?
Just about everywhere.
What places have you been?
In the US: Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama.
In Canada: Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia
In Mexico: Tamaulipas (just across the Texas border)
What are all the other places not mentioned above that you would like to visit? Too numerous to name, but to start with, all over Europe (especially UK, France, Italy, and Switzerland), China (Beijing and the Great Wall), Russia (Moscow), Israel, and Egypt.
I'd also enjoy traveling to other states and countries to meet NarniaWebbers in person.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Right now, probably Russia or Sweden. I'm hopefully going to make Russia happen later this year but Sweden will have to wait a while
You might come to Russia! Wow that's so cool, I really hope you'll like it here
(I was going to write this in an earlier post but then my sister and I got carried away laughing at how we'd been to the same countries, I don't know why but we thought that it was really funny , that I forgot all about it )

Ahh, fun! Which did you like best? My mom told me we've been to the three, too. (Did you get a chance to go to Lake Nakuru and see the flamingoes? )
D'aww, thank-you! Mhm, my mom and dad lived there for 20 years, on average; and we lived there until I was 5 and my sister was 7. I don't remember it terribly, but there are a few images in my mind's eye that haven't left.

I really want to go to Alaska too. And Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. Each of the Canadian Provinces, especially the one mentioned below.
What are all the other places not mentioned above that you would like to visit?
I'd like to go and see the beauty of the eastern provinces someday, particularly the delicate and nostalgic (think Anne of Green Gables) loveliness of Prince Edward Island
Yes!
The number of people who mentioned wanting to meet other NarniaWebbers got me thinking: One could probably see a lot of the world just traveling from one NarniaWebber's house to another.

It would be a lot cheaper too (staying with NarniaWebber's).
I don't think the volcanoes on Hawaii are normally active. Think of the cast and crew of LOST. They've been filming there since sometime in 2004 and they're all alive.

]I want to visit all of the states in the U.S. at least once, except maybe Hawaii (I'm scared of all the volcanoes )
Believe me, visiting Hawaii far outweighs the risk of a major volcano eruption. It's incredibly beautiful and oh so much fun. It would be even more strange than saying, "I don't want to visit the gulf because I'm afraid of hurricanes," (or tornadoes in the Midwest, and earthquakes in California). Most of the volcanoes of Hawaii are dormant, but there are actually a few that are erupting continuously. I'm not sure how that works, but I know there are some places that lava just sort of oozes out all the time. There are giant lava flows that you can walk WAAAAAY out to see. You have to walk like 5 hours in no man's land over hardened lava to even see a slight glow of live lava. It's not really worth it.
Kate's right I was a bit nervous about the volcanos when I visited but the closest we got to an eruption was when we spent hours walking up one and there was a very slight wiggle of the ground for a second There was more of a threat from falling coconuts.
There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.
It would be a lot cheaper too (staying with NarniaWebber's).
Yes, it would. That's one of things I thought of.
Okay, okay, I'll add Hawaii back to my list.

What is your top place to visit, hands down?
Switzerland! No question. I'd love to visit the alps, walk the meadows, see the chalets, see where my ancestors came from... *dreams*
If you could live in one place/country for a year, where would it be?
Eek. Probably either Scotland, Ireland, or New Zealand. It's hard to say.
If you were planning an around-the-world trip, where would you stop along the way?
Whoa... tough question. I have no clue, but it would definitely cover quite a bit of Europe and a few southern countries as well.
What places have you been?
Hm... in the U.S., I've visited pretty much every state except those on the eastern coast. I've also been to Canada (British Columbia) and Brazil.
What are all the other places not mentioned above that you would like to visit?
Egypt, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Greece, Poland, Italy, Austria, Scotland, Ireland, England, France, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, and the Philippines. Ahh, there are too many to list!
