minaret, plume, star, incandesce, sphere, equinox, holy, hymn, song, ethereal, perilous, shining, empire, polaris, hilt, hearth.

It's not that I really like the meanings (though I think they all have beautiful meanings), I just love how they look on paper and how they feel when you say them. There's something mysterious and deep about them. :)

Wordnik is a great website for discovering new and interesting words. I got all of these off of my list of saved words. :)

What a lovely thread! Who DOESN'T love words?

Ditto.

Fulminating
pulmonary
edema
snarge (that which remains when bird hits plane)
hemorrhage
pustulating
hasenpfeffer
vomit

Great words. The sound of some spoken words expresses so much.

“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”

I adore words (I spend more time with my head in a book or my pen to paper than is probably sensible) and the thesaurus is a wonderful book (I know very, very sad) Any way specifics
Thereabouts
Buoyantly
Flamboyantly
Eccentric
Gorgeousous ( I know it's not a real word but it sounds cool)
Extravagant
Illuminating
I'm sure I'll think of some more they just pop up you know?
As soon as I logged off I thought of new words.
Deed
Gallant
Excitable
Utterly
Totally
Plump
Cosy
Perfect
Amazing
Incredible
Beauty

Comfort child we are between the paws of the true Aslan.- King Tirian

I don't know if this is considered a word, but I love it all the same! It's from Mary Poppins
Supergalafragilisticexpialidoscious
(I heard it in the movie and spelled it the way I thought it should be spelled. Maybe it's spelled differently in the book)
also
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
(no, I didn't get it right the first time I spelled it...and it took me two weeks to memorize it!)
popinjay
prevaricate
accentuate
expeditiously

:D :D I love big words!!
