Oh, and I almost forgot another canid favourite of mine! The Dhole. It is a Southeast Asian canid, that is known for the way it communicates. This dog actually whistles! Perhaps that's where the term "Wolf Whistle" came from

Wolfloversk, dingos are native to Australia. I'm not sure what Wikipedia is implying there.
This isn't just Wiki
I'm saying technically they're not Native, though most people do consider them Native. They're descended from Asia and were brought over with the Aboriginal People when they first settled. I'm talking about thousands and thousands of years ago so they are naturalized and are pretty much native except historically, and paleontologically (spell fail) speaking they're still pretty recent introductions. So there's a bit of a debate as to whether they are native or not... Of course if we assume they're not then we'll have to rethink our classifications of tons of other species. For example technically humans are native only to Africa if we use the Dingo's timeline.
I really would love to hear that the Thylacine managed to survive somehow... It may seem impossible but with things like the Coelacanth and the Okapi who knows what's out there?

Well, if you're talking about dingos not being native to Australia, you can mention that many animals we have now weren't native. For example, the koala was probably one of the animals in the Garden of Eden. It probably went aboard the Ark. After the Great Flood, over many years, they probably made their way to Australia. Originally, they were in some area in what is now known as the Middle East. So really, few animals are truly native.

Indeed! Unfortunately, there's some scientists who don't believe all of that, hence how we enter such debates XD (Sometimes I think people debate over the craziest things too- like the world's not gonna end if we don't know where the Dingo comes from... technically native is just a word anyways, but I will admit I enjoy following them from time to time )
