What, no members to chime in on all the love?

Y'all are what makes moderating such a fun and enjoyable job. Trust me, there are places where the members make the forum an absolute nightmare for the staff, and it ain't pretty. But it's not like that here, and I don't think we would be such pleasant mods to be around if we didn't have members like you to help us out.

Thanks mods for the nice card and the nice words. NarniaWeb is definitely my favorite forum (Okay, so it is the only forum I'm on so that may not seem like much but it's also the only forum I ever considered joining. ). I love it here.

This forum has been a place of refuge and comfort to me ever since I joined here more than five years ago.

That's the way I feel too although I've only been here one year.

Hey, everyone!

It's kind of funny, even after I had to step down from full mod duties due to being busy with the military, how I can't seem to stay away from here for too long. In many ways, this place is like a home to me... a home I eventually had to leave, but which I know I can always come back to whenever I have time.

I guess that goes to show how much the members here mean to me, and how my time on NarniaWeb was so much more than just moderating.

Really, though, is there any greater praise I can give, that a former moderator, when he has nothing left to moderate, would still stop by when he has time to see how everyone is doing, just because the membership is that great? And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, either.

So yeah, I look forward to being with you all later on, here in my weird space between member and moderator. Should be interesting, to say the least.

Thanks guys for a great 6+ years on the internet! I never thought I'd get caught up in a forum online, but I definitely have. You guys are great! Thank you for being fantastic members!

This forum is a special community, and so much of that is because of the caliber of the members. It's a privilege to have come to know so many fans of Narnia, both online and in those members I've met in real life.

Like others have said, years ago I wouldn't have expected to become so attached to an online forum, yet I miss NarniaWeb when I'm away for a while.
