Welcome to NWeb JesusLives. I never did get Kart for the Wii, but NSMB for the Wii is pretty good. As noted on the Zelda ST, I've been blowing through Skyward Sword. That game is a beast and I am doing everything I can to be patient to get back on it. I'm supposed to be helping my parents with our move in a few minutes and I am at the very end of the game having tasted and lost to the final boss. Any Zelda fan who has played at least most of the games will see a lot of easter eggs (references from the older games) and the musical score is absolutely epic. Not to mention sweet sword play unlike in any other games I've seen yet. I can't wait until tonight to go finish it.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

Welcome JesusLives! We have both those games too and they are very fun. Other Wii games we have that we like are Donkey Kong Country Returns, Sonic Colors, Lego Star Wars Complete Saga, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Music. Wow, the Wii has so many good games, I hope the Wii U will keep that trend going.

A few months ago, I played Assassin's Creed. I enjoyed the world and the story it hinted at was quality but there was very little game play and the mini-missions were so tedious, so overused and so blah. I enjoyed the addition of Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars and the free-running was awesome.

More recently, I played Assassin's Creed 2. This sequel was a huge step up in terms of quality game play, story - almost everything. There's a hero you can identify with more easily, there's more heart to the story, more conspiracies, more to do. There are a few flaws though. Some of the camera angles are downright awful at times, the Assassin tomb puzzles are terribly difficult and incredibly frustrating (and timed!) Some of the glyph puzzles are exceedingly difficult to decipher (that said, I enjoyed the first 10 or so of them). It's a great game pulled down by some very intense puzzling. The philosophy behind the game is disturbing, nonsensical (thank you post-modernism!) and contrary to Christian belief but it makes for a very interesting and thought-provoking 'What If?' story. Suitable for older teens and adults. Contains graphic violence, some strong language and adult themes. My rating - 8.5/10

So my husband started playing WoW again for the first time in several years. It's his co-workers fault, they all play so he decided to join in as well. :P

Anyways, I played on his account for a bit over the weekend even though I had sworn off MMOs for the rest of eternity. :P I actually found it... depressing. I hadn't realized the full magnitude of how much had changed in Cataclysm. They had completely revamped all of the quests so you can never go back to do them again. They had also completely changed the play style of several of the characters, specifically the mage and paladin, if not all of them. So I can see why they actually lost players when this expansion released.

The one good thing about it though, I won't be tempted to buy it any time soon. :P

After i complete skyward sword, I am actually going to go and complete the few zelda games I haven't completed. I have downloaded them onto my 3ds.

Thank goodness I finished my Loremaster achievement. It took forever and I got a cool talbard out of it. It signifies that I had done something like 97%+ of all single player quests in the game and it took me months to polish off. Now that past quests are gone I suppose I wouldn't be able to do that one anymore :(.

Yeah, I didn't look through the achievements at all, but depending on how they were worded before, you definitely can't do them now. For example, did you know SL that...

Spoiler
Thrall has left to fight Deathwing, relinquishing control of Ogrimmar to Grommash, son of Grom Hellscream. And Cairne is dead betrayed by one of his own tauren in a deathmatch against Grommash, so his son Baine is now the leader of Thunder Bluff.
It is quite interesting to see the storyline progress, and in truth, that's the one thing that's keeping me intrigued in the game, but I don't have to play it to find out what's going on. ;))

@wolfloversk: Awesome, I love the Nancy Drew games!
I normal watch my sister play them because she is much better at puzzles then I am.
Which games did you get? Have you played them all? :)

@Warrior 4 Jesus:
I've played Assassin's Creed a couple of times with my younger cousin.
If it wasn't for some of the Philosophy like you mentioned and some other things, I would probably own the game. :)

Good and Bad news for me after watching the VGA (video game awards) last night:

The Bad: It looks like I'll have to wait at least three years before I get to play Uncharted 4!!!!!!!!! Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

The Good: Uncharted 4 will probably be launching with PlayStation 4 I'm guessing in 2014,  but Naughty Dog in the mean time is  releasing a new game called " The Last of Us"!

The Last of Us

Here is the synopsis:
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience that blends survival and action elements to tell a character driven tale about a modern plague decimating mankind. Nature encroaches upon civilization, forcing remaining survivors to kill for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.

((NOTE: Heavy Violence and blood))

@Warrior 4 Jesus:
Ellen Page, I thought she looked like her too when I first saw the trailer!
Everyone says that Katherine Marlowe (one of the villains in Uncharted 3) looks like Helen Mirren.

Okay, well I found reading this discussion confusing so I guess I'll jump if nobody has a problem. Lol. 8-}

Personally, I love the new Mario and Sonic Olympics game for Wii! I mean Mario on a horse? That's just awesome. I made my brother's play the ribbons game with me a lot. =)) Donkey Kong twirling a ribbon amused me.

I also LOVE Legend of Zelda! Twilight Princess is epic. I'm a new fan to Zelda but I'm trying to buy a game now and then! Are there any Zelda fans out there? :D I'm hoping to get up Christmas morning and have Skyward Sword wrapped under the tree!!!

Oooh and Nancy Drew! I have almost every one of the PC games. Anybody a fan of those? My fav is Secret of Shadow Ranch. Seriously, I've played it like ten times even when I know nothing is different. :p

Credit for this awesome signature goes to Tarkheena! :) Thanks SO much T!

I am a huge legend of zelda fan, I am an old fan though(11 years now). lol it is by far my favorite game series, ocarina of time, majorias mask, skyward sword are worth getting for new fans. bother oot and MM are avaliable of the wii shop. It wouldn't hurt getting phantom hour glass and spirit tracks of ds either. those titles are still available in store. Only play on zelda game through before starting another one though.
