Online homework posting services. I'd already done the homework, and just had to post it online. Or so I thought. . . it turned out the thing changed the numbers to make them different on some of the problems, so of course I got them wrong because I'm terrible at physics. It may make it more convenient, but it leaves less margin for error, which is something I can't afford. You can't negotiate with a computer. You can only yell at it, and that doesn't do any good. And the worst part is, if I can't work out this homework problem, I can't pass the class. I'm going to ask the professor about it, but for now just THINKING about it makes me angry.

When I have to kiss someone in a play or short film because it is in the script and part of my job the guy goes "Oh my I kissed her.... oh my oh my." It's not a real kiss like get a hold of yourself!

My particular peeve is the use of the word "just" in praying. Example: "…and just help us to…" I can't imagine a greater impertinence than to infer that a request (or an instruction!!) to almighty God is a trivial thing. Two clarifications: (1) What people say to God in a private prayer is none of my concern, and they can say "just" or anything else that helps their communication. I only object to the word when they are in an assembly making that prayer for me. (2) Scripture tells us very plainly that we can and must pray–and pray repeatedly, if need be–for what concerns us, so I don't mind someone praying for something trivial. My objection is to those who suggest that prayer is trivial. Excuse the rant.

It annoys me sometimes when people take your words completely out of context.
