Ah, this reminds me of something, sweeet: I get rather uptight when people try and talk to me when I'm deeply involved in a book, particularly when I'm nearing the climax of a plot (not that the talker knows that ). Sometimes I'll just hold up my hand, other times I'll glare pointedly ... nah, just kidding with the second one. Actually, we chuckle about it now because of the unspoken rule in our home that No One Better Interrupt Jo When She's Reading ... bar an emergency.

^I hate it when people interupt me when I'm reading. It drives me nuts, of course most people don't know that 'cause I never say anything when they do it. I just hide my face in the book, so they can't see that I'm glaring angrily. Then when they leave I have to find my place all over again.
When a bookmark falls out of your book, for the same reason as above~ I lose my place and have to find it all over again (of course its harder when this happens)

johobbit: Those are both good ideas. I'll be sure to apply them at the next large gathering I go to .
Neurotic people (modern society is filled with these.)
People who are being hypocritical. (Although I know I'm guilty of it , but at least I try to avoid it.

^I dislike hypocrites too. Like people who pretend they like you and are nice to you but they really don't like you and talk about you behind your back and stuff.
^^ ugh, yes! and I get that a lot from people.....
I can't stand it when I get judged by my clothes or lack of makeup or hairstyle.

^ Yes I know. I have learned to try and ignore them, but people always bug me about my hair, clothes, the fact that I hate wearing jeans (they're uncomfortable, lots of fabrics are more comfortable)
The single reason I don't wear dresses in school is because of the comments I'll get, they won't even be bad comments, but I don't like the attention. Kids just assume that since I never wear dresses I don't like them, when in fact I love them (atcually I was talking about this with some of my freinds at church). I don't like it when people jump to conclusions.

^me too! I'm like "why do you care how I dress?" I used to care alot what people thought about how I looked but more and more I find myself not caring at all .
I hate getting snubbed by people at first glance when they see how I dress or something.

-Watery Hot Coca! It's so gross! And it's even worse when you pay for it!
-When girls gossip about each other!
-when guys & girls flirt!
avatar by Flambeau!
^all three . I always make hot cocoa with milk- with water it's just gross . I hate gossip and flirting. Very annoying.
-When people chew gum loudly
-When people listen to their headphones loudly in the library and I'm trying to study
-When people drive below the speed limit in the passing lane! lol
-Texting, seeing other people text, seeing people on their phone while driving..
-Flip flops (I don't know why lol)
-Writing essays
-Being around someone who's hyper when I'm tired
-When people shout out the lyrics quickly before they sing them
-At work when people talk to me and ask me to do something during my lunch break
-The voice of someone who sits a few cubicles down from mine (sounds mean I know, but her voice is verrrry loud lol)
-Being late to anything
lol so there's my list
Flirting/fanguuurlism/fanboyism - yep, all that quite bothers me.
Okay, don't laugh : a very trivial area I find annoying is clicky shoes, as I call them. The sound of them somehow really bugs me. Because they are so audible, it's almost like they are saying "look at me; look at ME", even though that may not be the purpose of the wearer, but then ... why wear them? They just seem to draw an abnormally amount of much attention to oneself.

When people use "badly" wrong. One feels bad not badly.
Actually, that's the correct form. "Feeling" is a verb, and in this case, to say how you're feeling, you use an adverb to modify it. Bad is the adjective, badly is the adverb. In the opposite case, well is the adverb and good is the adjective.
Yes, feeling is a verb but in this case it is a linking verb which isn't modified by an adverb. One wouldn't say: "The pie tastes well" but "The pie tastes good."
Badly is an adverb. Used to modify the verb feel, it should tell how you go about the act of feeling. If you want to describe your physical condition, do not say or write, "I am feeling badly." Say or write, "I am feeling bad." If you are, let us say, a chiropractor whose job is to feel your patient's spine to check the alignment of the vertebrae, you might say, "I am feeling badly today" to mean that you are not doing your job skillfully. If a hangover from last night's party is the cause of you ineptitude, you might say, "I am feeling badly today because I am feeling bad."
- - When lines or character allotments are too small for the requested information when I'm filling out forms / job applications. I often run into problems when asked for my major and minor. It is really hard to cram "Elementary Education with a Communication Arts and Literature Specialty and German Teaching / Creative Writing" on to a line maybe two inches long. Even I had just had the first major, it wouldn't fit with out shrink the font or using abbreviation. [/*13logfy9][/list13logfy9]
