My number 1 pet peeve is being late. I am a lot better than I used to be but I still can't stand being late. If I am there and it starts late, I am usually fine with that. But if something is at a certain time and I am not there even five minutes before, you will notice it. In fact, the worst tantrum I ever threw as a little kid was when the baby sitter put me to bed half an hour PAST my bedtime. I had an interesting childhood but I don't have time (not to mention being so off topic it's not funny) to delve into that here.

Following that, it really bothers me when someone is really late and keeps something from starting (myself included). The most frustrated I ever got was when our band leader asked us to arrive half an hour earlier that usual. He arrived twenty minutes late.

Oh, this is a lot but I won't complain much because pessimisst are among the people that annoy me.

1. Wrinkles in my clothes or sheets
2. Waking up late on a holiday (Although I love sleeping in. Ironic. )
3. Getting a library book that's stained
4. Getting a library book with half the back ripped out.
5. Messes that seem really hard to clean up. (Messes with something spilt are fine, but the ones where there's paper everywhere really get on my nerves.)
6. The negative traits of my introvertedness. >_>
7. Someone who talks only about themselves. In some cases, I don't usually mind someone who talks too much, but it depends on how annoying they're being: if I can't think of anything to say and they're filling up talking space, I'm okay with it, but if they're talking, seeing that I have to go or that I want to talk, then it gets on my nerves.
8. When cat hair gets all over my clothes
There's more, but it's better I stop.

and I hate when someone is tapping a pen on something over and over!

One that I can think of right now...

Someone shaking out the crumby, dirty, dishcloth that they used to wipe the table into my fresh, clean, hot, soapy dishwater.

My hair and makeup have to be just right or I will be really annoyed. I can't stand when people scratch their fingernails on seatbelts! I am cringing just thinking about it. My sheets touching the floor is very unexceptable to me. I am the type of person that gets more annoyed about things that don't matter. It's a curse really, but I can't help myself! Also my spot at the table has to be very clean or I will not sit there.

listening to the band Thousand Foot Crutch. when I hear their music, I feel angry and want to break things. their music creeps me out. plus, they dance really weird.

People talking during movies. Movies aren't cheap, and I pay to see it, not listen to other people blabbering on.

Most of humanity.

Ooh, I got another. People jumping in a room with a CD playing so the CD skips. Especially when they're trying to make it skip.

As in Linus Van Pelt's famous line, Booky? "I love mankind; it's people I can't stand".

Anywho, for me? Tailgaters and ...
licking a popsicle stick. *shivers and shakes*

Also, I become wearied by people who talk a lot, hardly listen to others, and always seem to bring what little conversation there may be back to themselves.

1 When I'm about to eat and there's stuff in my spot at the table (really odd since I'm one of the messiest people in the house)
2 people who complain a lot
3 gossip
4 the smell of beets
5 underestimations of the capabilities of the rest of the species on the planet

1. I hate to work in a cluttered area. I'm not as obsessed as I once was...at one time I couldn't STAND working in a messy space, but now I'm better at ignoring it.
2. I'm a big letter-writer, and for some odd reason it really bugs me when someone only writes only one side of the paper, skipping the back and going onto a 2nd piece of paper! There's all that space on the back to fill!
3. People talking during a movie...the sort that talk TO the movie: "No!! Don't do that!!! Are you stupid???"

I wish the kids I baby sit for would get upset if they get to bed late. Usually it is the other way around. You've got me curious about your childhood now.
