Yeah yeah, it's just wonderful everyone gets to see this and I have to wait till' the folks at amc.com decide to put the episodes on their website
I watched a zombie film this morning named Colin, which is an extremely low budget zombie film (it cost 45 pounds to film, purportedly) with the twist that it's told largely through the eyes of a zombie. Colin starts the film entering his home and discovering that he has been bitten on the arm. A friend of his who lives in the house has turned and attacks him and bites him again before Colin puts him down. The rest of the evening is spent watching Colin turn. The vast majority of the film follows his "life" as a zombie walking the chaotic streets of London and through his eyes we see how the survivors cope and watching how zombies act and behave when no one is watching.
The film has a really good concept and the filmmakers did an admirable job putting it together, it could have been streamlined down to 45 minutes and wouldn't have lost any of its crucial story in the process. As it is it gets a bit long in the tooth at about the 45 minute mark and the movie is a hair over 1 1/2 hours already. I've read comments from reviews that state that viewers felt great sympathy for Colin, although except for the beginning I reacted to him the same way I would react to any zombie (or Zeds as our British friends call them ). It's hard to warm up to a zombie, yes?
I give it 3 stars out of 5.
