Just playing around, I found that the Polluted Base is going to require the ...
~Blueprints
~Pollutinum
~Living Shards
~Radioactive Sludge
~Scrap Metal
Quantities are still unknown, but there are the materials that will go into it (it kind of says that on the blueprints, but I tested it to be sure). I'm sure someone already found that on the MH forums, but I think only a couple people here pay somewhat close attention to what's posted there, so I figured I'd share.
@stwin, I'll be happy to do trains with you when the toxic spill is cleaned up. I've also got another LG map waiting in the wings. I still need the LE trap.
Cool, FK! Actually, last I checked, the forums hadn't determined the exact ingredients (though your info matches my guess based on the BP's description).
Trains and LG maps are always welcome in my book.
I wonder if some kind of luck charm would increase my chances of getting good loot drops in the Toxic Spill?

Possibly stwin. I have a golden shield and the Rift Base and I'm getting quite a few of the drops. I got my final theme piece last night, but I can't craft it yet because it needs a LOT of pollutinum to craft.
Speaking of which, I noticed all of the recipes, with the exception of the Polluted Base, are on the Wiki. So I made myself a crafting materials spreadsheet to help make a 'build order' plan (to be decided on seeing specs). I thought you all might be interested in seeing it too...

ETA: The M400 release is next week. If you didn't see this already, he can be caught via a new Library assignment. Count level and up. Will be worth more points than the Eclipse.
New updates coming to mobile, soon you can see the trap effectiveness and treasure hunts on mobile.
Apparently the Polluted Base is quite something, especially when paired with the charms. They said it won't be limited to the Toxic Spill either, you can use it anywhere in the game.
Yay! I love the Library Assignments. They're one of my favorite aspects of the later levels of the game. A new one as part of the YotN releases makes me happy, especially since we'll be seeing it so soon.
In other news, I just looted the Washboard Base blueprints! Not the Scum Scrubber or Polluted Base I was hoping for, but it's something. I need 1 more Canister Ring for the Medium Waste Barrel as well.
ETA: I Also just looted my first RRB potion. I don't think these are very common drops, but they save you some gold in making RRB.

I'm 97% Baroness now - I'm staying in the Spill, hoping to rank up to Countess before it closes ...
No Canister Rings this run. But my first BP drop - the Scum Scrubber Trap Blueprints! I won't be able to craft it until after the next Spill, though. But by then at least I'm likely to go in as a Countess
And I got a RRB potion as well. Just one.

Varna, it looks like you're most definitely going to make it to Countess as you're 99% Baroness now.
I'm still grinding through the Toxic Spill with as much willpower as I can throw into the area. I admit, I'm pretty bored and ready to move on, but I'm also trying to collect as many goodies as I possibly can. Plus, I'm still leveling quickly (for a Grand Duchess). I'm just about to 58%, which means I leveled a whole percentage point in the lower tiers of the spill. Nice.
In the past 48 hours, I've gotten the Washboard Base blueprints and two more canister rings. I'd still like to get the Scum Scrubber blueprints and as many canister rings as I possibly can before the end (I need 6 more for the Large Waste Barrel). In the meantime, I'm farming Soapy Suds as it's obvious I will need them in many crafting applications. I'm up to 101 of them. Not bad considering how many charms I crafted before I started stockpiling them.
Yeah, those RRB potions are nice. I believe they drop from the Hazmat and Lab Technician mice?
Yes, fantasia, the potions drop from the same mice as the Soapy Suds, which makes farming both at the end of a Spill very nice.
Speaking of Suds, I'm up to 84. It'll probably take me another four or five Spills to get enough for the Washboard Base, depending on how many Rotten and Super Rotten Charms I can craft for each Spill. The Orb drops in the Spill are very nice and (for me, so far) frequent. I wish the Stale SB+ was as plentiful. I've used up the 200+ pieces I'd stored up from daily gifts over the last few years.
I only got 3 Canister Rings to drop this Spill, so I'll have to put off upgrading my Waste Barrel for a while. Then again, maybe I'll get the Scum Scrubber BP next Spill and I can aim for that instead.
I can't wait for the M400 assignment to release. The Toxic Spill is fun while it lasts, but it's going to be very slow going and I like the feeling of accomplishment I get for completing even a small goal like a library assignment.

This Toxic Spill has been especially kind to me. Last night I got the Scum Scrubber blueprints. That means this spill I got all three blueprints, two of the three theme scraps (I had the third from the previous spill), several canister rings (I need four more for the large waste barrel), and well over 100 soapy suds. I finally left because I ran out of flawed orbs and while I could keep farming canister rings, I figure at this point I'm not gonna get all four, so I may as well wait until the next spill.
Now I'm just working on a LG map, waiting for the M400 release.
...I like the feeling of accomplishment I get for completing even a small goal like a library assignment.
Something tells me this won't be a "small goal" They said the amount of points on this mouse will be far greater than the Eclipse Mouse. So I'm going to assume, therefore, that it will take a good deal more work to catch this mouse than the Eclipse. We shall see.
*wonders if they release this mouse before the end of the Toxic spill, if the spill will ever be cleaned up *
Anybody with the assignment wanna shed some light on what it entails? I'm 140 library points shy of being able to start it, so hopefully I'll be able to join y'all in a few days.

Certainly. And I'd like to see other people's assignments as well because I know they're different.
Collect 3 Microchip Curds from Ravenous Zombie Mice
Collect 3 Cheddar Powder from Masters of the Cheese Belt Mouse
Collect 2 Aged Grape Juice from Saloon Gal Mice
Collect 1 Nuclear Garlic from Realm Rippers
ETA: Based on the news story description, I feel it may be time to concentrate on completing my Ultimate Charm. I kind of hate to do it with Easter right around the corner cause I don't know what mice they'll add in, but it may be worth it.
Here's my bait research assignment:
Collect 3 Microchip Curds from Bark Mice
Collect 3 Cheddar Powder from Ethereal Thief Mice
Collect 2 Aged Grape Juice from Ethereal Librarians
Collect 1 Nuclear Garlic from Mage Weaver Mice
Hmmm... Ultimate Charms? I really hope they don't make them necessary for advancement. Then again, it'd make another of the LG recipes a bit more useful.

Collect 3 Gooey Gruyere Curds from Snow Soldier Mice

Collect 3 Microchip Curds from Ethereal Engineers

Collect 3 Cheddar Powder from Polar Bear Mice

Collect 2 Aged Grape Juice from Gate Guardian Mice
0 / 2
Collect 1 Nuclear Garlic from Whelpling Mice
there's mine
Boy stwin, how'd you rate? Easiest assignment ever! And I don't think Ultimate Charms will be required at all. You know what they do right? They give you a 100% catch rate, so you'd be guaranteed not to waste your cheese. If I wasn't so close to crafting one, I wouldn't even consider it, but I have a spare Rift Crystal, one Shattering Charm ready to go, and 2 Hix Essences towards another Shattering Charm.
Yeah, I think that might be the simplest one I've seen for this. Here's hoping my luck holds out.
It's just that I'm not even close to getting the stuff for the Rift Base, much less going through that many Icuri again for a single charm. I know the UC has a chance of going on for a while with that 100% catch rate, but still, that's a lot of effort for a single charm. We'll see what happens. I'm not likely to get my Rift Base before Easter, when I can loot extra essences along the way.

My Research Assignment:
Collect 3 Microchip Curds from Bark Mice
Collect 3 Cheddar Powder from Calalilly Mice
Collect 2 Aged Grape Juice from Keeper Mice
Collect 1 Nuclear Garlic from Gorgon Mice
I'm not even close to being able to craft my second LG trap, so the Ultimate Charm is out of the question.
Camped out at the Spill for pretty much the whole thing. My loot:
- Medium Waste Barrel
- 1 Canister Ring for Large Barrel
- *2* Scum Scrubber BP's (and yes, I imagine it must be because the SS will be upgradable eventually, or just an unusual glitch)
- Washboard Base BP
- 61 Soapy Suds
- Incarcerated Garbage Bath Skin Pattern
- Soapy POT Skin Pattern
I've figured out that with the cost of crafting the cheese and whatnot, gold breaks about even (at least in the Countess-Hero levels). I came in with about 2mil (put the rest in a bank for Ronza ) and am leaving with just over 2mil.
Not going to lie, I'm feeling slightly anxious about the amount of work I still have to do on the LG and whatnot. I toiled away over there in January and got a decent bit of Lunaira, but I only got two TC's and I've only got 1/3rd of the Gur I need to craft the Icuri that I need for my GAT. I've got a decent amount of A-D essences, but I haven't converted them up because I've started back with Gouda in the LG and have got to buy charms and whatnot. It's discouraging for sure.
I'm half-tempted to just throw in the towel and hang out doing other prep for Easter for awhile, but everyone keeps saying how much you're really going to need this Rift base and I cannot craft the dang thing until I get my LG traps sorted first. Gah.
People keep telling me how nice it is to have goals in Mousehunt, but I honestly have not felt this stuck since I was a Grandmaster waiting to get into the Tribal Isles.
