I couldn't help but notice on the most recent news story that Flawless Orbs have been added to a few areas of the game as well. (Divine too for that matter.)
Last toxic spill I noticed that on the bottom levels I was getting quite a few Flawed Orbs. I finished the toxic spill with 49 Flawed Orbs left over from all the Soap and Super Rotten Charms I crafted, so I don't think I will buy exclusively Flawed Orbs.
I'll probably get a combination of Flawed and Flawless Orbs myself, plus whatever else I think I'd like. (I usually get Amplifier Charms )

Yay! Another Toxic Spill to clean up. And you know, I can't get in yet this time, either. I finally leveled to Duke and this spill started at Grand Duke.

I'm poking around in the LG areas working on a map and trying to work towards my Shattering charms. I'm up to 1 Gur and 1 Hix, so only another 23 Gur to go!

I'm excited about the spoilers regarding new content, even if it does mean I need to grind through the LG areas some more to get the Rift Base sooner rather than later.

Lucky me, I'm in! I went ahead and armed my soap charms in the hopes of catching the two GD level mice, but I haven't even attracted them yet. We're almost 20% of the way done so it's going fast. All of you Dukes and Duchesses will be able to get in before you know it.

I was very happy to see that I erroneously remembered the amount of pollutinum needed to buy the Small Waste Barrel. I thought it was 200, but it was just 20. So I've purchased that. I've also had one additional canister ring drop, so 3 more until the Medium Waste Barrel. *crosses fingers for the two new mice and any other drops*

I must admit, I was getting a tad discouraged last night. I had originally gone in with about 42 soap charms, and I went in and armed them in the hopes of catching the two GD level mice quickly and then save the rest for later. Yeah... burned through those. Bought a few more off the Marketplace. Right before I went to bed I FINALLY snagged the The Menace mouse so I was happy I got one. I disarmed my couple remaining Soap Charms figuring I'd just get the Sludge Swimmer next time. Well, I woke up at about 6:40am and rolled over and clicked the hunters horn and saw that I signed in JUST before the end of the GD level and I just happened to snag a Sludge Swimmer overnight. Yay! So I'm done catching the mice until I hit Archduchess which is a long ways away.

I guess the next step is getting blueprints to drop as well as upgrading my waste barrel.

An update on the blueprints situation. Last night before bed I got the Incinerated Garbage Bath Skin Pattern to drop. For a brief moment I was excited because it dropped off of the Bog Beast and I thought it was the Scum Scrubber trap blueprints. But no, the pattern is worthless as it's for the Heat Bath that NOBODY uses. Even the completed skins put on the Marketplace are only up for 2mil gold. Definitely worthless.

But overnight, I did get the Polluted Base Blueprints to drop off of a Sludge Soaker. I don't think anybody has crafted it yet and I suspect that's because it takes more than 200 pollutinum. Maybe after this spill is cleaned up someone will figure out the recipe.

On the flip side, I only have one canister ring towards the medium waste barrel while my husband has three. So if I don't kick it into gear on canister rings, he's gonna be gathering a lot more pollutinum than me pretty soon.

How are you all doing on drops in the Toxic Spill? Anyone get anything cool?

I've got the first Polluted Theme scrap to drop, and 1 canister ring towards my second barrel upgrade. Other than that, It's been Orbs, Soapy Suds, and Pollutinum. I'd like to get one of the trap/base blueprints, but I'm just not having much luck with drops in this area.

I've had no BP or theme scraps to drop at all, but I do have 3/4 canister rings for my Medium barrel. I'm pretty much just passive-hunting at the moment so I'll take what I can get.

3 canister rings and the washboard base bp have dropped so far from this spill. I didn't attract the two mice I'm missing, but now that I've leveled up to grand duchess, I'm hoping I will next time around. I'm not going to craft any more soap charms for the rest of this spill so I can see where I get with the suds.

I guess I get drops in pairs. I got another Canister Ring (two more to go) and a theme piece back to back.

A tip to share that my husband discovered... Wealth Charms are really good in the Toxic Spill if you aren't using Rotten or Soap Charms.

I'm back up to 14 mil. I was hoping to reach somewhere between that and 14.5 before the next event starts (not a clue when that is). It would be really nice to hit 17 mil again before Ronza gets here, but I doubt that'll happen.

The soap suds have been slow to drop for me since the last level change in the spill. Not quite sure if it's just my luck or if they slowed down overall. Either way, I figure it's one of those things that'll just take time to get enough to craft the recipes.

Well, I managed to get not one, but two Scum Scrubber BP's...and yet not a single Ring that I need, lol. Just my luck, haha.

That's.... weird. Why on earth would they allow you to get two? As far as I can tell the trap can't be sold or traded, and neither can the blueprints. The only thing I can think of is if you have to upgrade it in the future and the trap collectors want to get both sets.

I bought a bunch of Flawed Orbs from the Cruise yesterday. I think 80 or so? (I also got about 10 Flawless Orbs to bring my total closer to 100.) I haven't managed to nail down my strategy yet of when it's best to use Super Rotten Charms. When I arm them in the higher up levels I just don't catch many Hazmat and/or Lab Technician mice and I waste a fair number of precious charms. But if I wait til the bottom levels, it's gonna take me FOREVER to get all the soapy suds needed for various trap/base/charms. Maybe just use them in the Lady, Knight, and Hero levels? Something to think about.

Last Toxic Spill I hunted elsewhere in the middle levels. Now I'm kind of regretting that decision as I see I'm still leveling up fairly quickly... about .01% per mouse at the Baroness level. Much faster than anywhere else in the game. I'll be curious to see if it stays that way at Lady level. Getting to Archduchess is my number one priority.

ETA: My lucky "pair drops" is working again. I got two canister rings almost back to back and now I have my medium waste barrel.

Well, I just am not having luck where I want it. I've been getting good orb and stale SB+ drops, but when I finally catch a Bog Beast, it only drops that sort of loot and never blueprints. /whine

I'm sticking to the Toxic Spill for now. Maybe I'll get a few more canister rings and at least be able to upgrade my barrel. I'm edging toward 12 million still (I was just short of it and then I made another batch of RRB, so I'm recouping that). I think I may break for trains if I finish this batch before the birthday event begins.

I'm using the Witch's Brew Skin on my OWN in the Spill now - it looks very much the part ...
I started as 90% Baroness, and I'm now 94%! I wonder if it will last long enough to make me Countess, or whether that will have to wait for next Spill?

Using Wealth charms works well with hunting for Crude Pollutinum. That's what I get, that and Flawed Orbs and other small loot - no Canister Rings or Blueprints or Theme Scraps or Skin Patterns.

But I'm close to 23 mil gold - and I had got a million points during my last 36 hrs log
