Which means Digs owes us money. Heh
No, only 10% of the net value - rounded down to 6 cents. He should still have his well deserved 58 cents.
I'm up at 4 Treasurer Mice. No attractions / misses of that or any other Prize Mice. I'd like to see (and preferably catch) a Snooty as well - shouldn't be too hard, if only I could attract it - but not a sniff so far.
But I have opened the first door in my MH Advent Calendar, and put the first Advent Chocolate in my currency box.
And I have been on a 24 hrs Subterranean Showdown and ended in the top 25% - 9 tournament tokens closer to the Gold Base ... I spent most of the Mining Charms I bought at Halloween, but I think that's a good thing to spend them on.
No BBB though. 3 or 4 FTCs. But my second Nugget.

Well, so far I've caught three Treasurers and one Snooty. Outside of the event, I've attracted two Leps and one Mobster and caught none of them. Never even had a whiff of the High Roller.
Unless things change in the last hour or two, it looks like the results of the Prize Event are in.
1st place goes to DiGs and shastastwin for snagging a Leprechaun.
2nd place goes to Aravanna for snagging a Mobster.
3rd place goes to wolfloversk for snagging a High Roller.
Congrats to the four of you for getting the hard-to-get prize mice and especially to DiGs on your $25.
I did well myself though I never saw hide nor hair of my coveted High Roller mouse. I caught 6 Treasurer Mice and 4 Snooty Mice. I FTCed 2 Leps and 1 Snooty. Not bad considering it was over a holiday weekend and I was afk a lot of the time unable to hit the horn.
Looking forward to the Great Winter Hunt. I like the Advent calendar already.
I couldn't help but notice on the Advent Calendar today that Seasonal Gouda was part of the reward. Interesting.... I still had 48 pieces of Seasonal Gouda from a few years ago, as well as 88 pieces of Gingerbread Cheese and 33 planks of Gingerbread. It'd be interesting if they brought those back again. In fact, I can't even remember what the Holiday cheese was that replaced those two.
It was Festive Feta, FK.
I'm also hoping that gingerbread cheese makes a comeback. I love the way it looks

On one hand I'm excited that the Winter Hunt cheese will be Seasoned Gouda, on the other hand I'm not because that means I have to start the event from scratch (I wasn't around last time it was used). Oh wells.
I was also pleased to see Seasoned Gouda making a return, since I still have a few potions in my inventory from 3 or 4 years back (has it been that long?). *checks inventory* Yeah, 19 potions. That should give me a nice head start.
I've been enjoying the Advent Calendar so far. I wonder if they will have a set something for which we can exchange our chocolates (like the Ronza vouchers that get you charms) or if it will become a regular currency for the event.
I'm currently getting through as much of my Tier 4 cheese as possible so I can jump into Tier 5 and up during the Easter Egg hunt.

I splurged today. I've been eyeing the tournament Black Cat skin for the Sphynx Wrath for forever. I just didn't get it because I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the Tournament Tokens. Well, they mentioned last FBF that it was going to be a long time before they add the Platinum Base because they want it to be worth it, and if they put it in now, it'd be too overpowered for the current level of the game. So... that did it, I finally bought the skin. It looks SO COOL. I don't know if I like it better than the Lion Skin, but it's one that not many people have, so it's unique.
Anyhoo... waiting for the GWH to start up. Doing some train rides and Warpath runs in the meantime.
I'm almost done with Tier 4 of the Gauntlet. Another 30 pieces of cheese to go, so I'll be done sometime today. I may jump back to trains or the LG after that, since I'm saving Tiers 5-8 for Easter.
I'm excited about the GWH. The pics and such that I've seen so far have been tantalizing. I even found a thread on the MH forums with "spoilers," including
ETA: Based on the fact that all three GWH cheeses have been given through the Advent Calendar and the link giveaways (I always click both, as I want whatever they'll give me ), I'm thinking this year's GWH will have an element of Halloween or other tiered areas/events in which each level requires a different cheese.

So, the Great Winter Hunt. Thoughts?
Thus far, I like it. It's certainly better than the previous two years. I'm currently 14 hunts away from building my snow fort I think. After that I'll aim for the Winter Walls Lv 2 as it increases the drop rate of Bocconcini (I thought this was pasta instead of cheese ) and therefore will make building the rest of the upgrades faster. I'll leave the Snow Cannon for last as I'm not having any trouble catching the mice. But I'll have to see what I want in between.
So here's the order I'm thinking...
~Winter Walls Lv 1 and Lv 2
~Ice Armory Lv 1 and Lv 2
~Festive Tavern Lv 1 and Lv 2
~Ice Armory Lv 3
~Winter Walls Lv 3
~Festive Tavern Lv 3
~Snow Cannon Lv 1, 2, and 3
Building order may be tweaked depending on how quickly I catch the mice and when they add tournaments and such.
I got one treasure map right away which made me happy. I sent invites to everybody and we're down to one mouse left; the Curious Courier. I do know I can't attract him while having Boccocini armed, but it looks like I can snag him with any other holiday cheese.
Oh, and I really dislike the Passing Parcel. My husband and I exchanged maybe... 15? of these so far and no collectible for either of us. It's quite a pricey collectible.
I'm loving it as well. It's such a fun setup. I think I'll be building the Walls as well, fantasia, as I want to be able to do as much as possible. I'm kind of surprised at the Muridae-style format they've chosen with the Snow Fortress, but I think I like it. It's certainly different from previous years. And I am very glad that the previous cheeses have been brought back into usefulness.
I'm hard pressed to decide what I want to get as far as the new skins go. There are so many to choose from! I definitely want the SW skin, and probably the ACRONYM and SLAC II as well. I'll need 34 Advent chocolates for all of that, so here's hoping I can get a few extras to drop. If I add the ZFM skin, it's 42! I doubt I'll have that many extras drop, as we're only guaranteed 24 through the Advent calendar. To get the theme and the new LE trap, I'll need 115 Ice Coins. It's hard to tell if I'll get that many, but we'll see. The event's only just started.

One nice thing, was that I got a sandtail sentinel skin to drop last night, and I sold it on the marketplace before the market got saturated with 'em. Got 2 million gold for it They're currently going for about 650K so I got in when the getting was good
I quite like this Christmas even too! I think it's probably the best one in the past 3 years. The last one I really enjoyed was the one where we had to collect the Christmas lights. . . and I think that was in 2009

Tweaking my above list slightly as I now understand the usefulness of Festive Feta, I want to make sure that I can hand it out to my MH buddies. I'm still going for the Winter Walls LV 1&2 first, but then I'll do the Festive Tavern LV 1&2 after that.
Seven successful hunts until I get Winter Walls Lv. 1.
I'm also doing well on the collectibles. I think I just need the Snowball Journal Theme, the Paint Can on a Rope, and the LE Snowglobe and that's it.
New mice are done. I'm not bothering with the trap, it's not that great.

I don't understand the usefulness of Festive Feta because I hardly had any to try out - about 20 left from last year, which is too little to show me what use it is.
So any hints would be good - and the FF itself, when you've built that part of the Fort

Do you mean the LE Snowglobe that you'll get when you've built the entire Fort (with 780 Snow Blocks)?
It is required to be allowed to buy the Snowball Journal Theme. I'll buy it eventually.
I have also bought the trap - I even use it occasionally. I might upgrade it later - if I ever loot an Oasis Bead. I'm not buying one for it, not when the Bead costs ten times as much as when I crafted the OWN!

@Varna, Festive Feta seems to have close to 100% attraction on mice carrying Snowball Bocconcini. I got a lot of FTAs or non-event mice with Gingerbread. And then Seasoned Gouda seems to be in the middle.
So my snow fort is looking snazzier.

I suspect I'll get the first two levels of the Ice Armory done tomorrow, we'll see.
