I think I really do need to go after the Eclipse in earnest, if I want to have any T8 potions by Easter. I plan to (unevenly) split my candies between Cobwebs for ULC's, Tier 3 pots and double drop powder for the LG. Then I think I'm just going to hunker down and do it...finish up at least Level 5 of the Gauntlet so I have enough T6 cheese to make a decent go when the time is right.

I still have two LG traps and two Train traps left to get, but yeah, I just don't want to go another Easter without the Eclipse.

As far as Halloween goes, I'm finishing up this last run and then I'm done. I've amassed quite a large pile of Cobwebs and Candies so I hope to have a very nice haul once it's over. :) I never did get that stupid Sugar Rush Plushie to drop though, lol.

I've heard a few people talk about hanging out in the Gauntlet for the next few weeks... I'm currently doing the same but none of my MH friends are along for the ride so I'm missing out on some horn calls. If anyone feels like befriending me I'd be glad to go along with yall for some hunts and potentially take yall as well! For that matter if anyone feels like trying a Gauntlet tournament I'd be up for that as well!

Hmmm... wonder what painful Easter Eggs they'll add this year. Hopefully not the big three boss mice of the LG areas. I have one Shattering Charm and could probably get another, but I'm not sure about a third. Maybe I'll hold off on completing my Ultimate Charm until Easter rolls around. ;))

Well, I am one train ride away from the Engine Doubler. I have 291/300 Tin, so I'll definitely complete it tomorrow evening. Yay! I actually have enough right now for the Supply Grabber, but I'd rather get the Engine Doubler first. :P ;) And I think the Supply Grabber won't be too far behind. Here's hoping I can get the last two mice quickly as well. :D

My main goal right now is to get as high into the Gauntlet as I can. Like Gymmie, I'd like to catch my Eclipse this Easter. :P

Any time spent away from that before the GWH will go to train rides and LG stuff, as I'm still working on the essences for my GAT.

I bought my Engine Doubler this morning, and upon arming it (and my stockpile of charms) tonight I immediately caught four Magmatic Thief Mice. No sign of the Magmatic Golem and I only have two more Crystal Charms to go. I can see by the numbers of mice caught that the Golem is a good deal more rare than the Thief. (2k vs 12k, so one Golem to six Thiefs.)

Aside from catching the Magmatic Golem, the only thing I have left to do in the train area is purchase the Supply Grabber. I have 64 Iron, 76 Copper, and 75 Tin to go. I should easily be able to snag the trap in the next week or so.

After that? Probably help other people with trains and do treasure maps until the Winter Event starts. :)

And I've had my FW debut - starting my career there with a streak of 8 Desert Soldiers and then a Garga! :-o

This can be fun ... :p

I've headed back to the gauntlet. Turned a lot of my halloween candies into tier three potions. We'll see how things go ;))

Sounds like everybody is making good progress on their respective locations. :D I should have the final trap, the Supply Grabber, in the next couple days. I almost have all of the iron I need, I will certainly surpass that goal after the next 24 hour train ride. Copper is getting close too. Tin is the item I'm furthest behind on, and somehow the third stage is always the part I'm busy for and not hunting as religiously as for the other two sections. I'm planning on setting myself up for a train ride this evening that will hopefully get me a nice portion of tin tomorrow afternoon/evening. :) As of right now, I need...
9 Iron
15 Copper
33 Tin
I still have 1.5 hours left on the current train, so I'll get more tin there, as well as 4 each once the train ride has completed. Definitely getting close. :)

Tidbits from FBF today...
Jacob drew another chemist mouse today for the new area. Now he's drawing a few new charms for the same area, and to grab colors for one charm, we saw a sneak peek of a new base too.

Also there are 1 and 2 person tournaments all weekend for those interested. :)

I feel super behind, FK as I don't have any of the traps yet ;)) I'll take whichever one I can get first. . . I don't even have the magmatic golem mouse yet.

Once I got the first trap, I got the other two quite quickly. Waiting and getting the Bandit Deflector first is well worth it imho.
I don't have the Magmatic Golem yet either. :S I think he's slightly rare.

I got Zurreal and Reaper's Perch after the Halloween event :P

Spent a little extra time in Furoma... Bronzed the Mojo

Decided to hit the Guantlet to chew through my stash of T3 cheese... I did miss this place...

I do hope the Sugar Rush Plushie will be back next year... I never did get it :(

I don't have any of the train traps either. I have enough iron and tin for the Bandit Deflector, but I still need 94 or 96 copper.
I'm aiming for the kitty first of all - but I might well hop onto trains too, in between Commanders and Guards.

The Sugar Rush Plushie wasn't LE, so you should be able to get it next year. I bought it when I gave up hoping for the drop.

I want to go for the Zurreal and the Reaper's Perch some time soon as well - possibly only third priority. But I don't like the idea that the obnoxious brain trap is now my best Shadow trap.

The Reaper's Perch is worth the effort, I believe. Better than using that Brain thing.

Apologies to Gymmie. Can't find my notes for MH that helped me track progress through the Gauntlet. Shall comb through my notes in this topic and save key steps in this post ...eventually. Or another post.

Tier Two: 280 Tier Two potions (1120 Tier Two Cheese) will yield three or four Eclipse. Good traps of Power and Luck are useful; however, Luck plays in very little when the developers were asked. As for the number of Tier Two potions, this suggests about 94 (376 Tier Two Cheese) Tier Two potions can lead to trapping at least one Eclipse.

Tier Three: 2251 Tier III moose taken. 285 Tier IV potions dropped. Average drop rate of 12.3%. Generated 1,140 pieces of Tier IV cheese.

Tier Four: 1,106 Tier IV moose trapped. 139 Tier V potions dropped. Average drop rate 12.6%. Generated 556 pieces of Tier V cheese.

Tier Five: 525 Tier V moose taken. 73 Tier VI potions dropped. Average drop rate 13.9%. Generated 288 pieces of Tier VI cheese utilizing Super Brie.

Tier Six through Tier Eight: Bronzed the Eclipse with the numbers noted from Tier Three and above. The original amount of Tier Two potions was higher; used at least 2,400 Tier Two cheese to Bronze the Eclipse.

One may calculate a different way from the numbers below what it takes to catch one Eclipse. But these numbers are skewed. I added the Ancient Gauntlet in there somewhere which doubled my potion drops in Tier One. Thus, the actual number of required mice is quite a bit lower; guessing about a third.

Current Totals of Tier I Mice
Wound Up White: 775
Hapless Marionette: 766
Toy Sylvan: 751
Clockwork Samurai: 451
Puppet Master: 58
Sock Puppet Ghost: 469

Current count for Eclipse: 19

On the very last hunt of the train ride last night, I snagged my first Magmatic Golem mouse, catching all of the mice in the game (except the High Roller) once again. :) AND! he dropped the last three tin I needed to buy the Supply Grabber once the train ride ended. So I'm now done with the train ride area and ready for the Great Winter Hunt. :)

The rest of the month will probably be spent doing treasure hunts, more Warpath and LG farming, and train rides when everybody needs an extra person. :)

ETA: Oh, and I've started getting some silver crowns on the Train mice too. ;)
