From reading the last few months of your posts it looks like I'm a bit behind the majority of yall but I look forward to getting to know everyone better both in game and out!

Hi jazzycamp! Welcome!
If you're a Count, then you're still ahead of me. I'm just a Baroness, working on the trains, and needing to start on the Fiery Warpath soon - I haven't even started on those traps yet, but I should be able to buy the Crystal and the Bead if I don't get them as loot (I hope I don't, but get a Metal first instead )
I'm going to finish the Warpath and the Muridae Market, and all the work on the trains, before even starting on the Living Garden. I feel no rush whatsoever to go there.
There's so much else I want to do on the lower levels first - Zurreal with the Reaper's Perch and the great Library Assignment to get it - maybe try for my first Eclipse - even catch the BBB a few more times and see if he would be willing to drop me the Monolith Base (I love the Digby Dirt Dwellers and don't mind an excuse to hunt some more for them). And more Acolytes and Dragons.
Currently I'm in Haunted Terrortories as well, doing my third assignment (hoping for another Mousevina before the event ends), but I'm ready to go back to the trains after that. I haven't got nearly enough copper for the first of the train traps yet, so I'll go on a lot of train rides for a while, in between Warpath runs.
If you want to buy skins as an investment, have a look at the Marketplace and see what skins have the best prices there. I think I'll spend my cobwebs on Ultimate Luck Charms and/or Ultimate Power Charms instead - you could even have a look whether those would be an investment.
I'll spend most of my candies on Warpath Commander's Charms. Those will be useful when I start in FW. I'll buy some Mining Charms as well, to be better equipped against the BBB

Congrats on getting a few of those assignments completed! I still haven't finished the first one I started about a week ago! I just can't seem to attract the Mummy, Ooze or Golem mice.
Thanks for your input on the candies/cobwebs
Oh! I have a tip for you jazzycamp! Go hunt those pesky mice in the Catacombs. They're sooo much easier to attract and catch there.
After that I haven't decided whether to head forward to the LG or begin working on the train.
If you have friends doing train rides, I would suggest that area next. Two reasons, one, the area is faster to complete than LG; two, it's much easier to make that team goal with at least one other person. Also, since you're in the process of farming gold, the CSC and Train areas are gold mines.
On the other hand, the LG area will get you a lot more points and you'll level faster, and while I differ in this opinion, most people find that area more fun. And you get better traps that can be used in different areas of the game.
Any advice on which trap skin to throw them into? In addition advice on what to spend candies on is also appreciated!
I spent my candies on Yellow and Red Powders for the LG, and I'll buy ULCs with my cobwebs. I have no idea what trap skins will sell for the most gold, so I can't help you there.
Have returned to my happy place. The Gauntlet. Imagine.
Giving away Spooky Charms as I make them with left over cheeses. Takers?
Putting my Cobwebs toward Ultimate Luck Charms.
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”

Did you turn your candies into potions? I'm thinking about grabbing 50-100 potions and spending some time there after I leave the Haunted Territories to farm some gold through going for the eclipse.
Did you turn your candies into potions?
I am considering that or using King's Credits, but it is not needed with the number of Tier III cheese in my stock of 1,174. For reference, 280 Tier II potions will yield approximately three of the Eclipse.
Nice to meet you, jazzycamp.

I blew through all my Spooky charms yesterday so I wouldn't mind some.
I blew through all my Spooky charms yesterday ...
Done.
For those that may wonder, it will take about 35 or so days to get through the 1700 Tier III cheese.

I'm really bored right now
I hate doing train rides, and I find the new area to be heinously boring. As far as I can tell, the new area seems to be really inconsequential anyways. . . I mean, it's the only place that requires the law type traps, so I'm guessing that it could be skipped for the most part.
I'm done with the garden, done with the warpath, done with Halloween. . .
A gauntlet run might get me out of this "MH Funk" so to speak Plus. . . it certainly would help gold stores in preparation for Ronza's visit.

Welcome to my world for the past couple years.
I actually thoroughly enjoy the train ride. It took a little while to grow on me, but once I figured it out, I really like it. But I've always been a bit odd in that I prefer the less popular areas. (Warpath, Z's Tower, etc)

As of right now, that is the case, but it may not stay that way for much longer. We know there's still one more update coming, and it will include crafting something with the tin, iron, and copper drops. Whether it's something useful or not for the future, I have no idea, but as I have nothing better to do, may as well get ready.
My guess is that it'll be an upgraded Law trap from the SLAC II, and as we know they're going to have more Law areas in the future, it's probably worth getting.
*bets we'll find out after Halloween ends*
THE YEAR OF THE NOBLE
^^'Twas the title of today's FBF in reference to 2014. Lots of spoilery goodness for what's happening in the near future. I will try to paraphrase as best I can.
~I was wrong about the final upgrade to the train. In Dave's own words, that won't happen for a 'long, long time' so don't look for that next month, or perhaps even next year. In fact, they will probably remove the ? mouse so people aren't constantly asking about it.
~November should be spent finishing up any and all goals you have before the Great Winter Hunt.
~Great Winter Hunt should start in early December.
[Here's where it gets good. ]
~In January of '14 they will release the first installment of THE YEAR OF THE NOBLE. The first installment will be small by comparison, but it will include at least two segments of a new areas for Counts/Countesses and one for Dukes/Duchesses. I wasn't clear on if there will be one as well for Grand and Arch Dukes/Duchesses. But I did hear Dave say the first two. This is just the beginning of all the goodness they will release throughout the year 2014. In fact, they said that 2014 is going to be nothing but high level content. *squeals like a fangirl*
I don't remember much more than that, but that was certainly a goodly amount of goodness. Can't wait!
Looks like I'll be spending November finishing up the train section and then I'll be stockpiling crafting supplies for whenever they add more to the train rides. I'd also like to craft the Ultimate Charm at some point so that should keep me busy until the Winter Hunt.
My main goal should be Fiery Warpath, then - the Kitty and one or both of the other FW traps.
Perhaps even some trains in between.
And then Zurreal and the Reaper's Perch. I'd prefer my best shadow trap to be the RP rather than the obnoxious brain trap.

How much longer will the Halloween event be open?
~Riella
Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't post that. Whoops! The event will end on Wednesday.
