I collect the collectibles so the Undead Theme piece, and if it doesn't drop, the Sugar Rush Plushie. After that, ULCs.

I have seen the Swamp Thang on my effectiveness meter - so he should be around. I've got him on my treasure map - and shastastwin wants to catch him, as he's got him on his assignment as well.

I have bought the Eerie Base and am currently using Spellbook
I intend to upgrade it to the Eerier as soon as I get enough cobwebs. It's about as good as my Snake Jade - at least in these areas - and may even have some area based bonuses. I don't expect to use the Eerie for anything other than as a requirement for Eerier.

I have also bought the obnoxious brain trap. I armed it and realized that it was weaker than my Spider trap (or at least had less Luck), so I disarmed it again.

But it can be smashed, and on the forum I'm following a thread where they try to work out the recipe for crafting the upgrade. So far they know the ingredients:

? x Invis-glu
? x Bolt of cloth
? x Rope
? x Tiny platinum bar
? x King's reserve bubbleh
... but not the amounts.

It's fun to read - it's the first time I've been able to follow the working out of a major recipe!
I expect I'll even want to upgrade the trap - I just cannot run to the shops right now, I have a tourney I want to stay put for

And I want to buy Warpath Commander charms. I have yet to start my first FW run. And then some Mining charms - I enjoy hunting for Digby Dirt Dwellers

Tournaments: Managed to sneak into the top 25% last night and get bonus candies (yay). Current tournament, definitely in the top 50%, but we'll have to get lucky and catch a Swamp Thang to get in the top 25%.

I completed a Catalog assignment last night and started the difficult one (which is worth 500 points!!!!). It's not terribly difficult in theory but I do need a Swamp Thang. And the 'easy' mice that I need just aren't showing, lol. But failing all else, as long as I catch the Halloween mice on the assignment, I can catch the rest on my own time. But I'm sure I won't need too.

Reaper and White mouse left on our map, lol. I've got one of each of the new scrolls in my inventory and plan to open or join an Undead map next.

What was your reward for your Catalog assignment Gymmie? I'm trying to decide if I want to bother doing any more after this one.

Nothing of any real significance. The biggest thing was Brain Charms which can be used to attract Zombies of any type (will be good for maps) and a few Candies. You can get a Cobweb from them too, but it's not a guaranteed drop and I didn't get one.

Down to a Reaper and a Swamp Thang on the Treasure map.

Finally caught 2 Mutated Brown and now need only a Lycan for my Library assignment.

Need 1 more cobweb before I can buy the Eerier base - I'm trying out the new trap and base in between tourneys, and I hope to upgrade before too long.

I've got 51 Tournament Tokens - the Silver Base costs 80. I often find tourneys to be quite a strain - I think I prefer the train rides. But they don't give tokens ...

I FINALLY caught a Swamp Thang! Yay! Of course I wasn't in a tournament where it's worth gobs of points... nor was it on our treasure map anymore cause Varna had already snagged it. But it still counted towards finishing my Library assignment and that made me happy. Just the Reaper left to go for the map and then I think I'll pop open the Undead Map if nobody else beats me to it.

I have left the event area to do some of my assignment elsewhere, but I'll be back for a tourney soon.

What are you doing with the brain traps?
I thought I would upgrade it as soon as they found the recipe, but I need it for my assignment, so I have to finish that first.
And I've seen a picture of the upgraded version, and THAT is the fully obnoxious one
I had already bought the ingredients for upgrading, so I may still do it. Won't use it much after the event, I think.

I don't think I'll be upgrading. Not worth the gold when I already have a RP and am close to a COT.
