I've just bought the 2nd cactus trap, and was invited onto a poster straight away - and now only the last mouse on that poster is left. So I'll soon have 30 FG. It feels like there is a better catch rate - I only have a very small sample so far, of course. But the hunting may be a little bit less boring now.
I need to go to Seasonal Garden before too long. I want to do more ZT runs, with Library assignments - and I want to get my Sandtail Call to Arms soon. I'm at 82% Lady, and I don't want to have a lot of SG hunting to do before FW when I become a Baroness.

Congrats Varna! That was actually a fun little trap to get, because the Devs made us farm something other than gold and we could help each other out with the wanted posters. I'll be interested to see what else they do with the western area.
I'm posting this from my mobile phone. We've switched off net access to be safe from the thunderstorms, probably for most of the weekend. I'm stuck in the CSC and will miss out on most of the Gnarled event.
I have probably finished a poster and reached past 90 FG, I assume ...

I watched the recording of FBF from last Friday this morning. It's possible that I missed something because I had a fussy baby distracting me and I had to pause it a lot. But for all of 40 minutes of chatting, they didn't really say anything new.
One thing I did get out of it is that there will be no Summer Sporting Event this year, but as the Winter Olympics are coming in early 2014, they'll probably do something for that. (Which I'm sure they will regret as it will fall smack dab in the middle of event season. Unless they tie it into an already existing event.)
It is clear that they're in the middle of working on the follow-up to Claw Shot City. I guess they did mention that some sort of expansion of the LG will be coming in the distant future (next year would be my guess), but when I say expansion, I mean more of an indirect tie-in to the area, probably to continue on the loose "storyline" and the Rift set.
Personal progress, I crafted the Ultimate Luck and Power Charms for the first time. My current goal is to craft the Ultimate Charm, and then I guess start stockpiling those for... ? Anyways, my husband and I are both hoarding a Shattering Charm and have our Salt Meters maxed out, waiting for the perfect Sand Dunes tournament to come along.
Today I got tired of missing mice. I've been out a Golden Shield for a while so I decided that since I don't need SB, I'd go ahead and buy the Wild West Theme. It's pretty boring but now I have almost 700 FG to spend on some unknown goodies.
Well, I moved from the Wild West area to the gauntlet. I thought I will finally try my hand at the Eclipse. So, I will be there for a long time. Though not as long as Paul.
Love God, love people
So Jacob shared a few bits of info this morning that include some sort-of spoilers I thought I'd pass on. These are some of the things he's either drawing or going to be drawing soon.
~A new trap for the Relic Hunter (I assume to replace the Ancient Gauntlet Trap)
~He gave us a sneak peek at a new journal theme that won't be coming soon. It was just a line drawing at this point, but it was quite pretty. I couldn't place where it would go in the game, it made me think a bit of Rivendell and elves.
~He's drawing a new steam/cog powered mouse today. The info he gave was that it wasn't going to be a very high ranking mouse. Probably like the White Mouse of the next Wild West area.
I'm currently building up for a massive Twisted areas run. I had thought to aim for 200 Duskshade, but I realized that since I still need 4 Icuris, I'll try to save up for a bit larger of a run. My current goal is to start with about 1000 Duskshade and see where that gets me. This is going to take a while, but it gives me a goal to work toward. I also need to start working on building up my Gauntlet resources so that I can actually try for the Eclipse mouse (preferably during Egg Hunt season).

Did anybody mention anything about decreasing the awesomeness of the living chests? I caught 2 Twisted Carmines today. One chest contained the typical gur essence and soil, and that was it. The other had the same thing + eleven dewthief petals.
I remember getting a LOT more stuff out of them than that (like Fel essences, lunaria petals, plumepearl herbs, graveblossom cheese, duskshade, etc....)
Any ways, I'm nearing the end of this garden run, which has been my biggest in a LONG time. I think I started out with 200 pieces of Duskshade. That's netted me three carmines thus far. . . which is not very good.
Not doing too badly essence-wise though. I've got 2 gurs and enough small stuff for a hix.

Nah, it's always been like that. My LG chests were more mixed up than yours were apparently. The only guaranteed loot is a Gur Essence and a Soil. You can still get the chests loaded up with goodness.
I've been in a King's Crowns competition again - it's not so much a competition, more of a challenge, and when you fulfil the challenge, you get to pick a prize from a pool of prizes. One of the mice to be silvered was a CSC mouse, so I'm there at the moment, close to finishing a poster and close to getting 300 FG.
I'll be going to Seasonal Garden soon, but probably not during the weekend. Possibly to Slushy Shorelines first. I need to do some more Iceberg runs to get Bottled Cold Fusion to get more Bases to do Iceberg runs ...

Rewards for participating in the first part of the FBF Trivia challenge.
~10 Luck Charms
~10 Super Power Charms
~10 Wealth Charms
~10 Lucky Power Charms
And then I had company show up so I had to quit.
I'm still working on stockpiling Duskshade. I'm up to 141 pieces of it and 8 pieces of Lunaria. I only need 3-4 Twisted Carmines to craft the Grand Arcanum, which is the last of the area traps I need. I should be able to do that if I stockpile enough Lunaria. I'd like to have at least 24 pieces before I try for TC. I'm back in the LG farming Dewthief. It's not too bad farming in short bursts, aiming for a big pile of stuff. I'll probably head to the Gauntlet again before long and make some more progress there.

Just finished up another run through the living areas of the garden. Heading into the twisted area with 133 pieces of Duskshade. Hopefully that'll net me another Twisted Carmine or Two. I've got 2 Gur essences right now, and enough minor essences to get two more, which means I've got 5 more Twisted Carmines to go until I get my next shattering charm (unless I get some decent mid level essences while farming graveblossom and lunaria)

Got my Phantasmic Oasis Trap, FUH-INALLY! That took WAY longer than I thought it ever would, lol. And I'm nearly out of ULC's, too, and let's not even mention the gold situation (just paid for half of my GAT). I need to spend some more time in the Warpath, and I really do need to finish my Gauntlet run...I need to have a decent amount of T8 stocked up by next Easter.
