I've gotten through 6 posters, but only have 120 fools gold

Decided to craft my Rift Base so I shelled out 9.5mil for the blueprints and I have 4.5mil leftover. I seem to be getting plenty of gold in this new area so I figured I'd be good to go. I guess we'll see what happens when they release the next part of the Wild West.

I highly doubt that anyone who still reads this thread didn't already see my FB post, but over the weekend...

I'm up to 85 Fool's gold right now... I noticed my best streak was with the Sheriff's Badge Charm equipped, but I don't know if that was coincidence or not

Time for a progress update...
I am an Upper Class Lady and Cardshark (or a Pyrite) away from my SLAC II. Currently sitting at 490 Fool's Gold, so yay on that!
Of the mice released so far I'm missing the Tonic Salesman and that's it. But aren't we due for another poster release today?
I've totally depleted my stockpile of Ancient charms. I had well over 300 when this area was released and now I'm down to about 50 or so. I'll have to do lots of treasure maps to rebuild my stockpile.

ETA @ 9 Haha, the SLAC II is mine!

FK, you must let us know how the SLAC 2 does against these mice, and if you can notice a definite improvement.

As for my own progress, I'm not doing "terribly" but I'm not doing well either. I've caught 11 gangs and have 224 fools gold. I'm guessing that it'll be another two weeks before I get my SLAC 2 at this rate

I'm in the same boat with Ancient charms, FK. They keep vanishing and the 5 for each poster I finish isn't replenishing them much. I still have a good number, but I'll be out by the time I get my SLAC II.

I'm currently at 101 Fool's Gold for 5 Gangs and a few Pyrite/Prospector loot drops.

I'm enjoying the high level of gold to be had here. It's comparable to my time spent in the Catacombs or even the Warpath at times.

Honestly I'm not sure I'll notice much of an improvement on my end because my previous setup always had either Ancient or Champion charms. Now with the SLAC II and Wealth charms, my stats are about the same (a little more power and a little less luck) so I'm guessing my catch rate will be about the same. I'll keep you posted! ETA: There is no doubt this will be a huge upgrade from the regular SLAC sans charms because my catch rate with Ancient charms was waaaay higher than those who weren't using charms.

I'm pretty busy this morning so I only caught a teeny tiny bit of FBF this morning, but the bit I did catch pointed out that several other areas in the game have been tweaked to include Law traps... namely Muridae Market. Thought that was interesting.
When I get more time later I'll watch the whole thing because I know they chatted more about the Wild West area.

Right now the only poster I haven't been on that's been released is the Undertaker one. I'm on a Travelling Terror one right now, and should catch the boss which means I'm only missing the Bartender and Undertaker from the released mice.

Only I could nab 3 bounty hunters in 12 hours, and have none of them drop a map

Time for an update! Not that there's a whole lot to report...

All of the Wanted Posters have been released and the only mouse that I'm missing is the chief baddie of the latest poster, the Circuit Judge. I've been averaging about two maps a day and am back up to 147 Fool's Gold. Still aiming to reach 500 before I go elsewhere and do something else. Probably Treasure maps to restock my Ancient Charms lol.

New Stuff....
~They intend to make the new Law type traps on the same level of usefulness as Shadow as opposed to Draconic, which is rarely used.
~Confirmed that more uses for Fool's Gold coming. Keep on collecting peoples!
~Obviously Varmint Valley will be expanded further.
~All six wanted posters have an equal probability of being opened.
~Claw Shot tournaments are coming at some point in time.
Other Stuff....
~We will likely never see an upgrade to the charm conduit. It kind of falls into the same category as Prize Power. An experimental idea but one they've opted not to continue.
~No current plans on the summer sports event (the one they had during the Olympics last year). They're focusing on Varmint Valley currently, but they do have "something" planned which they're not talking about. Sounds like this might be sooner rather than later? They were very vague.

Be Very Careful Using The New SLAC II Trap!

The first week Claw Shot City was open, I was on a Treasure Map and couldn't get any Wanted Posters. The second week I was hardly online at all.

Now I have hunted posters for a couple of days and got about a hundred Fool's Gold. (Thank you, Deputies!)
I soon found that I was rapidly running out of Ancient Charms, so now I'm only using them to catch the Ringleaders. (And Sheriff's Charms to catch Bounty Hunters, to make sure they drop posters.)

The grey boxes are discouraging, though, so at the moment I'm taking a break and using some of the Seashells I got from a poster to farm Blue Pepper Seeds - and POINTS - at Elub Shore. I need another 4.5 mill points to craft the side specific traps for ZT.

The better mice at CSC aren't bad for gold or points either - if you can catch them ...
So I'll be back in a while, for more posters and more Fool's Gold.

2 maps a day? I need to be hunting with you FK . I'm lucky to get one map done every two days.

I've been averaging 1-2 maps a day except when I've been going after boss mice solo (or allowing others to go solo while staying on the map). Then it can take up to a day and a half for one map.

Anyway, just missing the Undertaker right now. And thanks to a little dust from Ram on our current map, I do believe I will have my SLACII after we're done.

Just a little more hunting in Tribal Isles, and then I'll be back at Claw Shot City - I've got a Wanted Poster right there waiting for me in my inventory.

Well, as of this morning I caught the last of the Wild Bunch mice when I nabbed the Circuit Judge. I'm also up to 201 Fool's Gold, and I've gotten 5 Silver Crowns in this area already too.

But what's really blowing my mind is how fast I'm raking in gold. I haven't kept close track, but it sure seems to have gone up quickly after buying the blueprints for the Rift Base.
