I've attracted the Chrono twice, but of course no catch. I'm going to head over to the Seasonal Garden to get the winter key shard and then make a run for ionized salt before heading back to the Acolyte Realm.
Oh, and I am now a Baroness.
Oh, and I am now a Baroness.
Yaaaay Dot!!! Congratulations!
I got my Chrono Mouse tonight. Yay!
My team is running two 24 hour tournaments, one in the Cats and one Forgotten Mice. Should be interesting to see how we do.
ETA @ 9:02am CDT: Of course that's the way it always goes for me. I got my second Chrono Mouse overnight.
I finally finished a run that ended with my getting all three chests! YAY! I'm now parked in the shoreline for eternity in order to gather the materials to get the deep freeze base.
One more Iceberg run to go after that!

I failed to get my Chrono during our 24 hour Forgotten tourney. I attracted him 3 times, though, and also caught 3 more Acolytes. I'm not likely to go back anytime soon unless we do another tourney. Currently I am sitting in the Library trying to finish an assignment. Then I'll head to the Warpath or the 'Berg to work on a run. I'm nearing the end of Wave 3 on the Warpath and I need to farm BCF for the Hearthstone and Deep Freeze Bases. Eventually I need to make an attempt to fill in my SB+ only and rare mice from the lower levels, not to mention making it to the Eclipse Mouse for another attempt.

Dot, congrats on unlocking Z's Tower!!!
Yaaaaay DiGs!!! I can't remember for sure, you decided to skip the Hearthstone Base right? Good luck when you go for the Deep Mouse!
Sorry you didn't get your Chrono Mouse stwin, but yay on those Acolytes They drop good stuff.
...not to mention making it to the Eclipse Mouse for another attempt.
Depending on how much of a hurry you're in, it might not be a half bad idea to spend the rest of the summer getting your top level traps (Monstrobot, etc) and then when the events roll around, you can buy a whole ton of Tier potions... makes it go SOOOO much faster.
I'm rather frustrated with myself this morning. I was very distracted running around my house taking care of things and I wasn't paying close attention to MH, until I caught a Warmonger without arming the Monger Charms that I had bought like an hour before I caught him. Missed out on a lot of goodies, but oh well. No trap piece dropped.
Starting a 2-day Z's Tower tournament here in a bit and hopefully we'll do well. This is one of my favorite tournies.
No FK, I went ahead and got the hearthstone too. I felt like it would really help me get through the runs. As such, I'm really strapped for crafting equipment, thus why I said I'd be in the shoreline for an eternity .
Those soft serve charms do not do a nearly good enough job at attracting yeti, saboteur and. . . the other one I can't remember.

I'm in the Library! I've been wanting to get here ever since it first came out. I love libraries.
Managed to get all the way up to the Mystic Rooks in the Tower before my Amplifier dropped really low. Thank goodness that last Rook dropped the Card. Looking over the assignments I'm probably going to regret not buying more traps as I went through the game. Oh well.

I reached my goal of 2 million in gold, hopped aboard the S.S. Huntington III, and bought my Net Cannon and Aqua Base.
Any tips for this area? How many pieces are there to the Navigation Kit? And when/where do I upgrade my traps?
~Riella
There are three pieces to the Navigation Kit, Ithi. Get as many of the mice as you can, but don't stress if some of them aren't feasible with your first Hydro trap. You'll be able to upgrade once you're in the Isles, earn the points, and loot the parts.
I am currently in Z's Tower for a 2-day tourney. I'd like to try FK's proposed two-run strategy, but that's going to depend on my catching a Queen, King, and Master early this morning.

Ok cool. Well good luck getting the materials for your Deep Base then.

I've been chuckling at how quickly you moved over there once you got the Crystal Library Card. Congrats by the way. How's it going so far? Is it everything you dreamed it would be?

Congrats Ithil!!!!
My piece of advice is that as soon as you get your last Navigation Kit piece you go ahead and start hunting (with Gouda) in the Nerg Plaines. Don't bother hunting in Cape Clawed, it's a store town. The three mice you need from there come later. You actually have enough points already to upgrade to both your Horrific Venus Mouse Trap and Ancient Spear Gun, so that'll be nice.
We're doing pretty good in our tournament. I was kind of hoping for a top 10% place, but we've got top 25% in the bag I think.
Jacob started Art FBF early this morning so he's already going. He's doing a special new mouse in honor of the Olympic games. I assume it will be released this weekend if not today?

The catch rate could be a little better, but so far so good. I love the artwork. And I have new favorite mouse. This contraption is so much cooler than my scooter: http://i41.tinypic.com/lwt2u.jpg I want one.

When/where/how do I upgrade the traps? Can I do that anytime, or do I need to buy something somewhere?
Where can I buy Gouda Cheese?
Also, how do I catch the Bottle Mouse? It has the last Navigation Kit piece I need, and I seem to be catching every mouse but that one.

The general store in Cape Clawed is the place to buy it.

Okay, so there are three tribes: Nerg, Elub and Derr. Derr is a physical area. Elub is a hydro area, and Nerg is a tactical area. I suggest using the Digby Drillbot, The Net Cannon/Harpoon Gun, and Ambush respectively. Hunting in each of these areas using Gouda will catch the main tribe members, which drop crafting ingredients. Derr members drop Delicious Stones. Nerg members drop Savoury Vegetables, and Elub members drop Seashells. You can use these ingredients to craft Crunchy cheese, Gumbo cheese and Shell cheese respectively. These are the "boss cheeses."
After you craft it, go to Cape clawed and go after the old mice. They are the Aged, Elder, and Grandfather. Each of these belongs to a different tribe, and are attracted to their tribe's boss cheese. When you catch them, they have a chance of dropping a thorned vine (used to upgrade your tactical trap to the Horrific Venus Mouse Trap), an Ancient Spear (used to upgrade your hydro trap to the Ancient Spear Gun) and Rhino Horns (used to upgrade your Digby Drillbot to the Rhinobot).
Once you craft those traps, go ahead and go after the three bosses back in Derr, Elub and Nerg. The Chieftains of each tribe are toughies, and the powerful traps will definitely help. When you catch them, they drop pieces of the blueprints used to craft the Ancient Box Trap.

So I got bored hunting in the Tribal Islands and waiting to get enough points for my ASG and RB, so I bought my Gorgon and headed to JoD. I crafted a couple pieces of Creamy Havarti and got my loot drop for that, and now I'm just collecting vanilla beans from Pygmy mice. I'm sure there are more profitable things I could be doing but I really needed a break from stones and shells and gumbo.
