I'm trying to figure out how you missed the Grubling Herder and Fungal Spore Mice. The Grubling Herder is a bit rare, but not THAT rare, and I catch tons of Fungal Spore mice.
I missed 1 herder and and 3 spore mice... part of it is I sped through... I only saved up about 50 pieces of dew thief before moving into the next location and I don't have Reaper's Perch so I'm using the Terrifying Spider Trap for a shadow weapon...
I'm making another run through now more or less and starting to get quite a few bronzes... I guess I'm still using my Guanlet approach which means I'll be spending more gold in the long term traveling, but I'm still figuring stuff out the hard way Ah well, at least I'm enjoying the process
Edit: *scratches off Grubling Herder

Took fooooorever to clear W3 of the Warpath; this ERB is killing me. I want my Monstro NOW but it's going to be awhile. I've figured that my stash of Rumble is going to be enough to fund only one Sandblasted Metal, and I've got a Reapers Perch to acquire in the meantime. Plus I have to do another whole Warpath run before I have enough Flameshards to craft my OWN (it's the only component I'm missing at the moment).
Gymmie, I sent you some flameshards. I have gobs of them.
wolf, ah, gotcha, that makes sense re: speeding through. And congrats on your Herder
I learned something yesterday... Zugzwang's Leftover Rock comes from Unstable Gourds. So I crafted a couple and got a whopping 40 pieces of Gouda. What a ripoff.
I was also admiring the new Collectibles page. I like that a lot better than the redesigned Mice pages. Although there's a lot of collectibles in the General section that should go elsewhere. I also miss being able to see the collectibles you don't have yet.
Well I was doing pretty well on the gold gathering side of things, but this morning I had to shell out quite a lot of gold for cheese and crafting materials so I'm down about 700,000 again. But no matter, I'll make it back up as quickly as possible. I'm in the Acolyte Realm at the moment for a treasure map, and then I plan on catching a few Mojos... and maybe a few Senseis if I can stomach it.
Thanks very much for the flameshards, FK! I do appreciate it greatly.
I was looking at the crafting requirements for the Monstro again today, and I think I died a little on the inside. It's going to take soooooo long. But I will get there, soon, dang it!
ETA: Spoke too soon. I got a freakin' SANDBLASTED METAL as my second Warmonger loot drop.
*didn't realize flameshards were sendable
checked off the fungal spore mouse... I'm hoping this tiime I can go for the twisted carmine, but we'll see... for now building up drops to catch the dehydrated...

Gymmie, you're welcome, congrats on your Oasis trap and MEGA congrats on that Sandblasted Metal drop! Maybe you'll get the second one on your third run through.
wolf, I think someone already told you this, but it's worth repeating. I HIGHLY recommend patience when it comes to going after the Twisted Carmine. Don't buy the single pieces of Lunaria, get the set of 4, always. The herb and petal drops are low enough that it's well worth it in the long run.
I passed the 2mil gold mark this morning. 5.5mil more to go.
I plan to as long as I have the SB... infact so far all I've bought in these areas is the 4 packs It's been paying off... I've actually been getting more cheese than what I've invested... I know this won't be the case with Lunaria, but still- very helpful

I finally ran through all of the dewthief (I still have like 6 pieces, but the duskshade elements are about even) that I got during the event. I'm moving into the Garden with 354 pieces of duskshade.
I think I'll be here awhile.
Current essence count: 44-120-70-1-2-1-2-1-0
We shall see where this takes me. I'm still kind of sort of hoping for enough essences that I can get two icuri or at least come super close to it that I only have to run through say another 100 - 200 pieces of graveblossom. I have 177 pieces of graveblossom at the moment.
Well, I did a ZT run for our map and nabbed all the Mystic mice we needed. Didn't make much headway on the Technic side, though, and missed my chance at a Chessmaster because I didn't watch myself over night.
Back in the LG areas farming Dewthief. I'm closing in on another Icuri Essence. My essences stand at 1-1-2-2-2-0-2-1-0.
I'll set myself up for another good LG run and then try to farm enough gold to craft my POWN once I have the essences I need. I'm hoping no new content comes in the next month, just so I have a chance to really catch up to FK (haha ) but I'm interested in seeing what they bring in next.

Now in wave 4. Started off pretty decently with 4 Wardens in a row. Up to 5.8 million in gold, so I'm at least making progress.

I have been a Lady for a few days - at 4% now.
I was finally able to go straight to the new areas for a new rank when I reached it. For my previous new ranks I've always been too far behind to take advantage of them, mainly because of events.
But now I've visited Slushy Shoreline and Seasonal Garden, and got some idea of what they are about, and their connections to the Iceberg and Zugzwang's Tower - and I'm not sure which one to settle for first.
I guess I'll be going back and forth for a while, farming Iceberg supplies at the SS and hoping for Key Shards at SG (which was a less interesting location than I had expected - I guess I find that mice dropping loot are more exciting to catch than mice that are charging an amplifier), and see which one I'm ready for first.
The guides I've read advice me to have about 100 War Scraps before attempting the Iceberg - and it seems that I'll have to hunt for quite a while to catch the mice that drop the Key Shards (and I'll need another 6 mill points for the ZFM trap, too).
Going back and forth may have to last for a while, before I can go to the berg or the tower.
Doing treasure maps in between gives good variety. And I want some more dragon's chests, and some more mysterious boxes from the Acolyte - and I still haven't caught Balack.
So I have plenty to choose from

My warpath run was entirely unsuccessful. I even forgot to add a Monger Charm at the end. . . No loot drop either.
Back in wave 1 now.
EDIT: Bored with Warpath. Gonna hunt SOJO's and MOJO's for a while. Then maybe go for a spin through the Acolyte realm again.

I finished my first Iceberg run. I didn't get any of the Chests.
Right now I'm trying to farm supplies to craft the Steam Laser Mark II.

I'm just farming gold at the moment. And I have to say, I feel like the gold farming is going REALLY slow. I'm just impatient I guess.

Congratulations Countess wolf!

Depends on what you're doing, but if you're going for a Deep Mouse, that's not that great. Kat found a spreadsheet a while back that lists the the goal numbers you want, and I found it really useful (though my opinion of setups differs from the spreadsheet) so here it is in case you want to reference it.
But now I've visited Slushy Shoreline and Seasonal Garden, and got some idea of what they are about, and their connections to the Iceberg and Zugzwang's Tower - and I'm not sure which one to settle for first.
Well, The Slushy Shoreline and Iceburg are optional areas, much like the Digby Dirt Dwellers, the King's Gauntlet, and Balack's Cove. You certainly get a sense of accomplishment by completing these areas, but it doesn't advance you in the game. No big traps or bases, no maps, etc.
Whereas Zugzwang's Tower is required to move on to the Fiery Warpath once you reach Baroness level.
And yes, the Seasonal Garden is incredibly boring. No reason to hunt there once you've caught all of the mice unless you need to charge your amplifier for Z's Tower.

Speaking of which. re: today's news. Now the Relic Hunter is going to be all over the place (good for difficultly in finding him, bad for tournaments if he shows up during one LOL), but the most exciting bit is for us high level hunters, he now has an upgraded LG scroll that he drops. Very cool! The map I'm on right now has a mouse from Fall in the SG so I won't be finishing any time soon, but I'll definitely have to gather some of those once I'm done with the map I'm on now.
At present, I'm coming up on the end of Wave 3 using Wealth Charms. These runs sure do go a lot slower when you're not getting streaks of mice. Once I catch the Warmonger I'll concentrate more on our treasure map and probably snag a few Mojos and Senseis. We're doing a Crystal Library tourny tomorrow and 3/4 of us are on the same map so hopefully we'll snag the Aether Mouse. That's the hardest one on our map.
