I'm slaughtering wave 3 of the warpath right now. I've gotten a total of 3 Crimson Commanders (one of which didn't require a charm!), which wiped out a total of 78 mice. Currently at 36-0-23-43-16-6
So in a few days, I'll be in a good place to do a 2 day warpath tournie if somebody wants to do one.
Also up to 3.8 million in gold. Making slow progress. . . SO hoping for a sandblasted metal to drop off of my warmonger, as it would put me within close reach of my chronster.
Plugging away slowly!

Snagged the Dark Magi a bit ago. So that's all three of the final boss mice in LG. The Shattered Carmine was by far the hardest because you can attract other mice when you're trying for her, but once you arm a Shattering Charm in the Cursed City or Sand Crypts, the Dark Magi and King Scarab are the only mice you can attract.
I have returned to being dirt poor once again with no Charge Eggs to boost my gold. So I've resorted to working on the current treasure hunt I'm on and using my thousands of wealth charms. Crafting the Rift Base is the next item on my list and I expect this one will take me a while.
Well, altogether that was an extremely successful event for me, I thought. I got 58/70 eggs out of a possible 62 possible, I think. Something like that, lol. I think my proudest moment was when I got my Black Widow on the VERY LAST HUNT of the event. I was at work and was relying on people taking me on horn calls, and my last horn-call before going offline was also right before the event ended, and it was a Black Widow. I saw the BW before I saw the eggs and my first reaction was, "If I got that BW AFTER the event ended, I'm gonna...". But I didn't, so it was all good.
Probably the most frustrating moment of the event was when I missed an Assassin TWICE. Never did get her, but she'll be there next year. I'm just happy I got some tougher/more boring mice out of the way now.
Mice I'm proud of: Deep, Aether, Black Widow, Nibbler (2!)
I saved one of each of my eggs and smashed all the multiples in the meanwhile, and did a "group smash" of all my saved eggs yesterday. Even though it was only one of each, the amount of loot that I got from there was preeeeeety impressive.

Not too shabby. And thanks to all those High Charge eggs, I ended the event with MORE SB+ than I started with despite the fact that I did an entire SB+ Deep run (230 hunts or so) AND spent probably 200+ SB+ going after the Aether and Assassin. That's pretty good stuff, lol.
I cleared out my archers overnight, much to my surprise! I had 12 left, and didn't think that would happen. I must have gotten some nice streaks (and no conscious way to add a Commander's charm ).
Currently at 30-0-0-40-16-6
If I can get up to a streak of six on my warriors, I could wipe out the rest of the flame ordinance mice (which in my opinion are always the peskiest). That would be awesome, and would leave me in a pretty good spot for our tournament, which starts in about 90 minutes.

To my surprise I find that it is a relief not to have to pay attention to the cycling and changing charms every few hours. It was fun while it lasted - but I'm glad that's not what the game is like all the time.
Some areas are like that, though, aren't they? So I expect I'll do those once in a while (and quite possibly enjoy them) and then rest in between. At the moment I'm at the bottom of the Gauntlet - hunted for a day in Tier 1 and have recently switched to Tier 2. I armed with lots of cheese, and will leave it mostly to trap checks.
I don't know whether I'll be able to have _lots_ of cheese for the higher Tiers, though ...
Later I'll go back to the Tribal Isles and hunt some more Dragons. And perhaps I'll need some Acolyte boxes as well
And I should become a Lady soon - I feel the Seasonal Gardens are what's attracting me the most at that level.

Ditto. I definitely felt like it limited what I could do in the LG areas because I felt obligated to take advantage of the charge eggs while they were there. And I'm sure I did the right thing by patiently going through and charging all the time. But I'm glad it's gone, even though I got loads of goodness out of it.
But as of this morning, I think I see the motivation on the part of the devs for giving us so many goodies so easily. Their new post of one of the rough and tumble Wild West mice has appeared on their FB page hinting of new content. I expect that they were giving the players as much of a boost as possible to be ready for this new content. They gave a sort-of hint: south of the Sandtail Desert. I suspect this will be another high level area.
We're at the halfway mark on our two day Warpath tourny this morning (we're doing well! ) but once this is over, I feel like I need to do a big push to get as much gold as I can as quickly as I can. I'm only 1/15th of the way to my Rift Base and who knows how much we'll need for the new area? I've been continually selling charms on the Marketplace as a supplementary income, and that's been going well, so yay. And of course the Warpath always pays well.
Speaking of the Warpath, I set a new personal record for clearing time on Wave 1 yesterday. From the time I got in there at the start of the tournament at 8am, to the time I went to bed last night around 11pm, I had completely cleared Wave 1. Amazing what a difference using on SB and the Chromestro makes. The downside was that I only caught 1/4 Gargas I attracted. *pouts*
Currently up to 48-41-28-1-2-1-2-1-0. Still working my way through my dewthief. Still have 262 pieces of that. I'm up to 112 pieces of duskshade. I know this won't bring me up to what I need in gold, but do you think it might bring me up to two icuri? I also have 177 pieces of graveblossom.
TWO icuri? I doubt it, but you should get one.
Unlike the Gauntlet, I don't recommend stockpiling lower level stuff and then going for the top level mice. Some of that is ok for sure, but the longer it takes to get those uber traps, the more inventory you burn through with less reward. So I would definitely make getting your next trap the priority rather than stockpiling little stuff and aiming for two Icuri.
Also, DiGs, my husband, and I all got the Arcanum trap first, which is fine, but I noticed a bigger boost in catches and drops with the Clockwork Portal trap, especially when it came to King Grub (who drops loads of goodness ). Something to consider.
Well, I'm settling in for the long haul on farming Senseis with my 102 pieces of OG cheese. Not my favorite mouse due to the large amount of stuff that he steals from you and the low catch rate, but hopefully it will be profitable. If not, I may just head back to the Warpath.
FBF is another art edition this week. Jacob will be drawing another Wild West themed Mouse.
The stockpiles came from the event. I honestly don't plan on keeping a stockpile of garden stuff. I usually only switch cheeses when I get bored. The reason I went after the 60 aleth was so I could buy the charms to play the mini games. I usually pick up quite a bit in the way of the 2nd and 3rd essences that way so I can have the charms for the next level of the garden. I think the Clockwork portal is actually cheaper if I remember correctly. I only have 2 tiny platinum bars at the moment.
I caught Carmine the Apothecary on my first attempt... now working in the Twisted Garden

I finished my warpath run during our tournament. . . didn't get a loot drop (but honestly. . . the chances are always low). I started wave 1 overnight on Friday, and finished up about 20 minutes ago. Onwards to wave 2!!!!!
I've also crossed the 5,000,000 mark, which is about a third of the way to my goal. . . yowza

You're doing better than I am. I'm not quite a 1/4 of the way to my goal.
As I was afk for the majority of the weekend, I spent it moving from location to location finishing up our treasure map. Now I'm back in the Warpath again with my large stash of Wealth Charms working on monies. I was in the Pinnacle Chamber for a while and honestly I did make a large profit of gold there, but the Sensei annoys me greatly so I left.
The stockpiles came from the event.
Ah, I gotcha. Yeah, the event was very good for stockpiling stuff. If the new area is not out yet by the time I get the Rift Base, I'll return to the LG to use up some of that stockpiled stuff.

Yeah, that particular variation of Carmine is not so bad. So what do you think of the LG by now wolf?

It's pretty fun Getting Plumepearl herbs has thus far been my single largest problem... also I think I still need more points to get all the good traps so I'm just working on collecting essences, mats and knocking off what mice I can from my list...
I'm gonna be working on an iceberg run, a guantlet run, and a zt run soon though...
Mice I still need to catch:
-Zurreal the Eternal
-Gargantuamouse
-Deep
-Dehydrated
-Fungal Spore
-Shattered Carmine
-Twisted Carmine
-Corrupt
-Dark Magi
-Grubling Herder
-King Grub
-King Scarab
-High Roller
-Leprechaun
-Mobster
-Snooty
-Treasurer
17 total- not too bad

I'm trying to figure out how you missed the Grubling Herder and Fungal Spore Mice. The Grubling Herder is a bit rare, but not THAT rare, and I catch tons of Fungal Spore mice.
-Shattered Carmine
-Dark Magi
-King Scarab
Between spending so much time in Nov and Dec in the hospital, and spending a lot of overnight hunting working on treasure hunts, I didn't go quite as fast as normal on the LG area. On the other hand, the Easter event fast forwarded my time in the LG by quite a lot. So it's taken me about 5 months to nab these three. I think the Devs said they planned on it taking an average of 6 months for people to complete. I suppose if that includes crafting everything in the Book of Living Recipes, it will take me that long.
The rest of those mice, just one at a time.
Getting Plumepearl herbs has thus far been my single largest problem...
I have way more trouble with the Lunaria Petals. Thank goodness King Grub is easier to catch now. I usually aim for him about 20-23 salts in.
I'm a little more active now, so I've left the Gauntlet for a while - I reckon it will still be somewhere to go back to when I want to be completely passive for a couple of days.
I'm in the Jungle of Dread with my new Spider trap (which theoretically should be better than my nearly as new CoT ), farming Fire Salt for Dragon hunting (and finishing up some of the Havarti of colors that a Guide says are not the best ones to work with). (Edit: But that I'll still need for catching mice for treasure maps!)
Lots of points right now, and some major red boxes
