I've got 27 pieces of Lunaria Camembert. That's more than I've ever had at any one given time. I'm also well stocked up on Ultimate Power Charms and Ultimate Luck Charms, so hopefully I can nab quite a few of these lovely ladies. I only need to catch 3 more and I'll have enough essences to craft another Icuri essence (WOOT WOOT!!!!) Three Twisted Carmines with 26 pieces of cheese remaining (I used one piece and nabbed one ;) ) shouldn't be incredibly difficult. . . but I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch ;)

Then it'll be farm farm farm farm farm farm farm for gold so that I can get that shadow trap, and be in a similar position to FK.

Getting that upgrade for the Sandstorm Monstrobot is also VERY high on my list. . . I'll actually probably buy that thing before I buy that upgraded shadow trap, just because it'll help me in the warpath, which will help me farm gold, which will make things easier in the long run.

So, long story short, I'm using ULCs and UPCs in the Twisted garden. I know that this will take my Eggscavator charge down to zero, but I can build that back up again. . . . it takes a lot of work to get in a position like this, and I'm not going to waste it by getting a bunch of FTCs.

Watched the brief FBF this morning. The reason for all the trouble lately is because they're being hit by a DOS attack which is exceedingly uncool. :( They said the game will be down for quite some time this afternoon while they get a new firewall up and running to try to block the attack, but that's why the game has been so laggy and choppy.

They also revealed some spoilers of upcoming content, most of which had to do with the next tournament patch.
~Team captains can open their team to their friends so first come, first serve on joining up. In my case that will work out great as I have more than 7 other people I do tournaments with. :)
~Teams can create their own banner/artwork. Cool! (Says the not so artsy person LOL)
~I thought I might have heard something about updated treasure maps, but I was distracted at the time so I need to go back and confirm this one.
~New content is coming up, I'm sure that's the unofficial Wild West theme that Jacob drew a mouse for last week. He confirmed he'll be drawing another new mouse for the area next week.

There was more but that's all I remember off the top of my head. They were pretty scattered and tired and these guys weren't even the ones pulling the full 48 hour straight shift trying to fix the game.

ETA: Missed your post Dot, congrats on your new rank!! :D

Full 48 hour straight shift??? :-o
Just to give us our entertainment value? I call that dedication :D

And a DOS attack shows clearly that this had nothing to do with the new upgrade, that was just a timing coincidence.

I'm trying to sound the horn at the moment, but it doesn't happen. The site is up, but the horn has trouble. If they are in the middle of installing a new firewall or something like that, that's probably why.

I'm also reading the fora - most people are impressed with the way the devs are handling the situation, keeping us updated on the latest development, and giving us very nice recompensation. I haven't played much, so I don't have much to compare with, but I think they are doing a good job.

I assume that there are other sites on the same server that are more critical to get up and working than our amusement park, so some people would be working hard for an even worthier cause than MouseHunt. But I get the impression that the MouseHunt staff really want to do a good job.

Oh, and I just sounded the horn - and finally was successful!
I caught a White Mouse! B-)

It's definitely not the upgrade :P Hitgrab's other games are experiencing problems too :P

I went on an essence crafting spree while the game was intermittently on. I crafted my first Icuri and I then went back and crafted enough to get my POWN blueprints. I'm still about 1 - 1.5 mill away from being able to craft the trap though.

I'm using the extra luck to go for a lucky run in the King's Gauntlet. I've made it through the Tiers up to 6, and am now ready for Tier 7, with ASG (which isn't necessarily strong enough ;) ) and 6 pieces of Tier 7 cheese.

If I get a Tier 8 potion drop, there's hope, because I've got a stronger trap for the final run - but I don't know how I will fare at this level :p

I'm also up at 3,2 mill gold.

Update:
I caught a 8 oz. Fiend Mouse worth 72,000 points and 50,000 gold.

But no potion drop ...

Well, I got enough essences to craft my blueprints for the Clockwork Portal trap! That was pretty exciting! With all of the eggs, and all of the living chests that I opened, I've got a TON of living garden supplies. I have enough essences to make another Hix essence, 134 dewthief petals, 35 duskshade, etc....

I'm using the duskshade I got to have another run through the twisted garden. Already up to 39 graveblossom petals. Probably going to get another 8 pieces of lunaria out of this, meaning that I could get another one or two Twisted Carmines.

Anyways. . . once I'm done, it's off to the Warpath for gold farming for the forseeable future.

Sounds fun, DiGs!

I never got a Tier 8 potion, but I only had one FTC out of the 6 pieces of Tier 7 cheese - so catching that Fiend mouse 5 times still got me 250K gold and 360K points! :-o

I have enough points for the Heat Bath now, I just need the Blueprint - and enough points for a lot of new bases. And the road to 29 mill points and the Spider Trap doesn't seem so formidable any more ...

(And I'm climbing in the Gauntlet again ... :p )

I'm sure most of you saw already that I snagged my first Shattered Carmine last night. :D
Attractions - 2/10 Lunaria
Catches -1/2
... so not bad at all. :)

I know this is gonna sound crazy and everyone is gonna disagree, but I was borderline disappointed at how easy she was. :P ;)) I was ready for a super hard challenge complete with loads of farming and gold, but that is certainly not the case. Yeah, those charms are expensive, but they guarantee you a catch.
That's alright though... if it was as hard as I was hoping, they'd probably have lots of people leave the game out of frustration. And the nice part about it for me is that it won't take me that much longer to finish up the LG and then I'll be ready for the next area. :)

I crafted my first Icuri and I then went back and crafted enough to get my POWN blueprints.

Well, I got enough essences to craft my blueprints for the Clockwork Portal trap!

Congrats on the blueprints you two. :D Yeah, those Charged Charms have sped up the gold intake so much it didn't take me long to farm the money for the Clockwork Portal at all, in addition to another Icuri Essence, so I bet you will both get your traps soon. :D

With all of the eggs ... I've got a TON of living garden supplies.

I know. I am sitting on a MASSIVE pile of Dewthief, Duskshade, and Graveblossom because I don't want to do the Crypts and Cursed City right now. When the Easter event ends, I'll be hitting those areas hard and I hope to end up with a good many Twisted Carmines out of the deal. I would think I'd get another Icuri, but my luck with TCs has been mixed.

And the road to 29 mill points and the Spider Trap doesn't seem so formidable any more ...

Cool! :D Yeah, if you hit up Balack's Cove, you will rack up those points sooo fast, it won't take you long at all to get the Spider Trap. :) Bummer you didn't get a Tier 8 potion drop, but yeah, those Fiends are rich with gold. :D

Good for all of you with the achieving of some goals!

I'll be going to Balack's Cove at some point when I can monitor the tides ... hopefully some time today or tomorrow, at least while there still is an Egg to go for ...

I'm having another go at the Gauntlet, too, just taking a break now to bronze some event mice - I realized that some of them are only attracted by MM cheese.

I'm finding all kinds of fun things in the MH fora (not only the advice on how to cycle with Charged Eggs, which I'm glad I've been able to encourage others to do as well). I've found a support thread in connection with the recent (even current?) DDoS attack - https://www.mousehuntgame.com/canvas/forum/showthread.php?90665-Mousehunt-Communi-tay-Counter-DDoS-Attack-Campaign.

Also a Facebook Event, https://www.facebook.com/events/317094281749591/

We want to show our support to the devs who are doing a great job, and show that we won't leave MouseHunt in difficult times, but stay with them and go on playing. There are even support icons and banners - https://www.facebook.com/MhCommuniTayImages - I just changed my FB cover photo :D

And I found a great "speech":

As Winston Churchill once said.........

We shall defend our Kingdom, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the Tribal Isles beaches, we shall fight on the Harbor landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields of the Meadow and the streets of Gnawnia, we shall fight in the Furoma hills, We will never surrender!

Hear, hear! :p

Well, I spent all night wasting Dewthief in the Sand Dunes because I was stupid and armed the wrong trap. *headdesk*

Anyway, I'm working on a quick run through the LG areas, hoping to snatch the last few eggs I need from this area and farm various petals and essences.

Edit: I was able to get the other LG Eggs I needed in the regular areas. On to the Twisted realm! I still need Twisted Lilly, Corrupt, Cursed Librarian, and Sarcophamouse Eggs, and I'd like another shot at Twisted Carmine while I'm here.

I get quite a few Twisted Lilly and Corrupt Eggs, but the Cursed Librarian and Sarcophamouse eggs are kind of hard to come by. In fact, I've only ever gotten one Cursed Librarian Egg.

Well, impatience won out over stubborness last night. I got tired of going through the LG, SD, and LC over and over, so I hit the Gardens, snagged a Carmine, and am now hunting back and forth between the CC and SC. The nice thing about the CC is that you don't have to use charms so I can still do the eggscavator charges there. In the SC however, King Grub > Charges ;)) , so I've been bouncing back and forth between the two locations to keep my charges up and to farm petals and herbs. I'm still going through the area a good deal more slowly while keeping my charges up, but those charged eggs are worth it imho. Four more days until the event ends and then I can really get back into it. :D

Oh, and I've made enough gold for a second Shattering Charm. I think it's time to start thinking about farming gold for the Rift Base. :D

Today the Spring Egg Hunt has lasted for three weeks, and if it hadn't been for the extension, today would have been the last day. So what have I achieved in those three weeks?

I've got three new traps, Clockapult of Time, Ancient Box and Ice Maiden. I've hunted in three new areas, Acolyte Realm, Dracano and Balack's Cove, and I've done a quick Gauntlet run and made it to Tier 7. I've found 44 different Eggs - and roughly 280 each of High Charge and Medium Charge Eggs, those alone are 4,2 mill gold. Altogether I've made roughly 7 mill gold. :-o

As I hadn't noted down my points level when the event started, I don't know how many points I've got - but the week before it started, I was at 17 mill points, and I'm now at 27 (only 2 more mill before I can start using my Spider trap). My new areas really increase the numbers fast. I especially like hunting Dragons (I'll bronze him soon - I guess the Bonus Luck helps) :p

I still miss the following eggs:
Assassin
BBB
Chrono
Cook
Crown Collector
Eclipse

and then of course all those that are above Knight level.

Perhaps the Cook egg would be the easiest to get, but he's elusive ...
I could try the Chrono egg instead, I wouldn't mind another Acolyte mouse as well ;)
I certainly don't expect to catch all of them now, the rest will have to wait till next year.

It's been a really good event. (And there's still four extra days left of it.)

So I've decided to give up on the Gauntlet eggs...I didn't end up getting a single one. Not much luck there for me! I suppose I'll have to go back next year when I'm more prepared. I had hoped to get at least a Valor and Magic egg, but no dice.

Right now, I'm down to the toughie eggs on my list, so I'm hunting them in order of "what I'm pretty sure I'd rather not have to hunt next year", lol. That means cycling for Dhreller (I'll be kissing the Iceburg goodbye once I catch him since it will mean I've completed my mice collection for the 'Berg AND crafted all the bases), and also working on getting the Desert Nomad, with a BUNCH of SB+ thrown at the Aether because when else does it make sense to actually try and catch it? :p Anyway, I know I won't want to go to the Iceburg again next year and I'll be waaaaaaay done with the MM by then, so I might as well knock those out now. Assassin, BW, Cook...those are always good mice to catch for various reasons.

Hopefully it doesn't take me TOO long to attract a Drheller, and that I catch him when I do. I can't imagine anything more depressing then FTC'ing all my attractions. :p

ETA: 52/70 eggs, with 62 only being possible to catch. More like 61 because I really don't have enough Crowns to even try for a Crown Collector. :p

I finished up my garden run this afternoon. Ended up with 48 pieces of Lunaria over the total run, which netted me 6 (I think) Twisted Carmines. Either way. . . I got my Clockwork Portal trap blueprints out of it, and also have enough essences to net me another hix essence (and within a good position to get another one very quickly). All said and done. . . It'll probably take me another run through the garden to get another Icuri essence, which means I could have Shattered Carmine before too long.

That being said. . . . . .

I'm no in the warpath farming gold. I plan on being here for the foreseeable future. I only need about 13 million gold. . . that's all ;)). The quickest way for me to get out of here is with loot drops.
