I had a really good Iceburg run! Icewing at #212, and I'm making good progress in the Hidden Depths. Barring some extreme DHU, the Deep mouse shall be MINE in a few hours.

After that, I think I'm going to try and get into the FG before it closes and get back to work on the Chrono mouse.

So now that that's done, I've moved to the Fiery Warpath to finish up my run (just have a few Cavalry before getting into Wave 4) and then after that I'll move back to the LG for the foreseeable future. My goal at this point is to get as much gold as quickly as possible which includes keeping those Charged Eggs coming in.

Finally caught the last of the Garden eggs. On to Dhreller. I'm hoping I remember how to do this correctly to attract him.

After that, it's off to the chocolate factory to pick up some of the charge charms.

I still need the Assassin, twisted lily, all the iceberg, lost city, and sand dune exclusive ones, and 2 out of the Acolyte realm

Wolf, how's the Living Garden treating you?

I just snagged six Twisted Carmines. They dropped enough Gur and Fel Essence that I'm only one Gur short of another Icuri Essence. I need gold and I need it now cause the Clockwork Portal trap is a higher priority to me than the other high level mice.
But being this close to catching those last three mice made me curious... what's the catch rate? I started doing some digging and while I'm not sure if the numbers I'm reading are super accurate, it looks like the catch rates are as follows:
Shattered Carmine - 25% (both red and yellow dewdrops poured out)
King Scarab - 11% (with all 50 Salts used)
Dark Magi - 13%
Soooo.... perhaps I'm not close to finishing the LG areas after all.

Goodness! That's a lot of effort for those mice.

I'm gathering more Eggs. I got a Crown Collector (My first catch!) and a Nibbler overnight. I currently have 45/70 Bonus Eggs. I'm hoping to get a few more before the end of the event, but I'm not targeting any particular ones.

It actually wasn't too terrible considering I was using the steam laser on my last peak in I got over 50 Dewtheif Camber stocked up... mainly I just went there for eggs, but I think events + using SB+ helped... At the moment I'm in the Iceberg working my way toward the general, but I plan on returning soon... might go after the chrono and lich eggs first though

New trap is definitely treating me well in the iceberg, can't wait to try it out there And this winter theme skin is perfect for this area

Of course I did end up buying the bead off the market place, but I was desperate

I may have to pop over to the Chocolate Factory after a while, to buy more Charge charms with the MM I've collected from Medium Charge eggs. The Eggstra charms are right there in the High Charge eggs, but the Charge charms have to be bought.

I was down to about 20K gold when I had just bought my CoT - which I've used in JoD to catch Swarms of Pygmys while I was waiting for the much rarer Pygmy Wrangler.
I'm now well past 600K gold again

A couple of days ago I realized that if only I had saved my 36 hours reports, I would have known how many Charge eggs I've found. I really wanted to know how much of my gold during this event came straight out of the High Charge and Medium Charge eggs, so I was a bit annoyed with myself.

Then today I found this thread in the Forum:

He explains how you can make the link to each egg scoreboard (Edit: now gives the links) - so now I've found that I've picked up 143 High Charge eggs, 133 Medium Charge eggs and 31 Low Charge eggs. I've been very active in my hunting - but the Eggstra charms are a great help.
I'm ranked 331st for High Charge eggs and 228th for Medium Charge eggs

For gold, that means 1.430K gold from High Charge eggs and 665K from Medium Charge eggs - that's 2 mill right there

And we're only about halfway through the event ...

How's your hunt for your Assassin Varna?

I wanted to let people know, a little while ago I was gushing about the awesomeness of the POWN in the Iceburg... while it worked wonders for me, my husband, who does not have the Golden Shield, didn't have quite the success I did. It worked ok for him, but not nearly as well as it did for me.

I'm sure everybody saw already that the next area likely to come out in the game may be Wild West themed. Here's a mini-screenshot of the final outcome of Jacob's mouse from yesterday.

Personal progress, I'm hoping to hit 4mil gold and craft my Clockwork Portal here in the next day or two. The charged eggs are really helping and I've been selling misc charms on the Marketplace for even more gold.

Still hunting eggs. I've managed to whittle down my Uncollected list to just a large handful; we'll see how it goes! I organized mine in order of priority so I get as many as possible as soon as I can.

The Gauntlet Magic Egg might not be happening for me this year, though...I was able to scrounge up a handful of T5 cheese but I used it all up without a drop (and only one T6 pot drop, lol). I don't think I'll have time to go back to T3 or T4 and work my way back up, but you never know. Some eggs that I thought I'd catch quickly are taking me the better part of a day, and some eggs that I thought would take awhile, I'm getting on the first or second hunt, lol. I got my Zugzwang Egg on my first Rook, which was awesome because apparently they are NOT a super frequent drop by any means.

In other MH news, I caught my first Chessmaster, although of course I was a dummy and forgot to arm a Scholar charm. Oh well..not like I was anywhere near close to catching Zurreal anyway; and I get one free Scholar charm from his assignment anyway.

And I feel that I'm wasting my time, becaause the droprate for Charged eggs seem not to be as high in Dojo as in some other places - Town of Digby seemed to be better - so I would rather be in one of those.

I've stepped up a level for a while - made those Student tokens into cheese, am now hunting Masters in the Meditation Room, and will craft some Rumble and serve to the Mojo, before going for the Mummy at Catacombs and the BBB at Town of Digby.

With the CoT I should go to JoD again, too - there are Runic potions, apparently, which I need for the Acolyte. Perhaps I might even get a Lich Egg. There are little things that should be done in the right order now, and one of them is crafting the IceMaiden - and not all of them have anything to do with Bonus Egg hunting, but all might give Charge Eggs.

To speak of the Assassin again - which is best to attract him, SB+ or Maki? And don't say that Maki will give me Students at the same time. I don't want any more Students right now, when I go back to Dojo I want the Assassin and be out of there. I've caught him once and missed him twice, some months ago - so it can be done ...

Between previous years catches and this year's, I've now got all 70 eggs. I'm going back to the Living Garden and go after as many LG eggs as possible. I like the dewthief petals.

@Varna, I took a look at horntracker and it looks like the attraction rates are exactly the same. If that's the case and you don't care about the students then I'd just go with SB+ so you're not wasting extra gold on the materials used to craft Maki.

@Kat, congratulations!

Currently I don't care about the Students, so I'll save the rest of the Maki I've crafted for some day when I do. I used their tokens' cheeses to catch 5 Masters of each kind and craft 15 Rumble - which gave me 3 Mojos and Onyx stones.

And now - with the encouragement of the map owner - I'm in Town of Digby, hunting off-map mice and the BBB Egg (had one FTC already). Half-cycling, using Mining charms instead of Eggstra charms when I'm not charging - my donation to buy MM at the beginning allows me to go low on Charging charms for a while, and I should still get some Medium eggs even without the double sets.

Last time I was here, it seemed that Town of Digby had a good drop rate for Charge eggs, unlike Furoma. I'm close to 1.4 mill gold - I'll probably need to buy some Platinum bars for more traps. But first I need the Ice Maiden, and then the Heat Bath.

So patience... not one of my virtues. Stubborness I have in spades, but not patience.
I'm having a horrible time refraining from going after Twisted Carmine Mice right now. The problem is that while the cursed areas of the LG don't require charms per se, it does increase your drop rate of goodies.
As I'm trying to focus primarily on getting as much gold as quickly as possible, in addition to LG resources, I am doing runs through the non-cursed LG areas with Charge Charms and Eggstra Charms. *sighs while starting at the large stockpile of Graveblossom cheese and returns from the Twisted Garden back to the Living Garden* One more week. And then I'll rock this area.
On the plus side, I am on the home stretch for gold farming I think.
