Going after the Huntington egg. Then I'm going to Valor for that egg. I'll probably go set up in the chocolate factory after that to start in on the charged eggs.

FINALLY got that stupid Chrono Egg Went and picked up the charges and am building them up while hunting in the Meditation Room.

I only have 3 eggs to go... the Cursed Librarian, Corrupter, and Sarcophagus and that's it. In fact this egg hunt has gone so well that I was sitting on page two of the Egg Hunt scoreboard for a while. If I get REALLY lucky and get these last few eggs quickly, I might even make it onto page one.

In other news, I've been doing the charged egg thingy that Varna was talking about.... Holy SuperBrie Mousehunters! If you are not taking advantage of this I HIGHLY recommend you drop whatever you're doing and pick it up because I've made at least 50SB if not more. There's a fair bit of travel cost involved but it's a self-sustaining mini-game and the rewards are phenomenal.

And you needn't even drop whatever else you're doing.

Just get the MM you need to charge up your Eggscavator fully, and then you can do the cycle anywhere. The Charge Eggs drop anywhere, no need to stay in the Chocolate Factory - the only advantage you get there, is the MM drops. But when you get Medium Charge Eggs, they contain MM.

The only areas where this cannot be done, are areas where you need to use other charms (I know that there are at least parts of the Iceberg where this would apply). But elsewhere - charge the Eggscavator fully, then arm Eggstras and let it go down to 12, then arm Charge Charms again.

It takes active hunting, but with going to level 12, it lets you leave it alone for a few hours - better than to 17.

High Charge Eggs (which you get from anywhere as long as your Eggscavator is in High Charge level) give you Eggstra Charms, and Medium Charge Eggs (which you get while you are in Medium Charge level) give you MM to buy Charge Charms for. It is indeed self-sustaining.

The extra travel is to go back and forth to the Factory to buy the Charge Charms. I'm going all over the place anyway to get the missing Bonus eggs, and every time I'm about to do some major travelling, I travel for free with Larry to the Meadow and pop over to the Factory to exchange all my MM for charms, before going to the new area.

For hunting the Mojo, I charged up among the Students and then used Power charms instead of Eggstra while going down the charge - getting power enough to catch one was more important than getting two eggs from him. (I gave up in the end after getting two Onyx stones and no eggs, and got the Furoma Egg from a lesser Master instead ...)

I have found 38 of the Bonus eggs so far, and there are only about 8 more I would be able to reach anyway.

I've made close to 2 mill gold this week - mostly from Charge eggs, 10K for High and 5K for Medium, but Forbidden Grove gave some good catches, too. I haven't counted the SB+ - I only know I have enough to use it for hunting the SB+ only Egg droppers. I have lots of Orbs, haven't kept track (wish I had saved my 36 hours' reports).

Before this event, I had noticed that people advised us to hunt with Wealth charms when going for the Sojo. I had never seen a wealth charm and didn't know where to get one.
Now I have 1,297 Wealth charms

I've reached 38/70 bonus Eggs. I think I started this year at 25 or 27. Anyway, I'm going to stick it out in the Lagoon overnight in hopes of getting a Black Widow (for Eggs and my current map). Then I'll try to finish a few more of the Gnawnia Eggs I'm missing. After that, who knows? I haven't been very thorough this year. I also haven't had luck with some of the rarer Eggs I've tried to loot (i.e. BBB, Chrono, Muridae). I've also finally started looting Charge Eggs. I like these very much. SB+ and self-replenishing Eggs (as Varna noted).

What are everyone's late-in-the-event goals? Any Eggs you just have to get before it's over? Any you're avoiding?

Primary Goal: To collect all of the eggs. I only have the Cursed Librarian, Corrupt, and Sarcophagus Eggs left, but they're proving to be a royal pain. I'm not sure how many cheese I used to try to get the first two eggs, but it was enough to get 10 herbs. There's that at least. I switched to the Sarcophagus egg to balance out the herbs with petals so hopefully I'll snag that one soon. Anyways, I'm very close and unless I get a whole lot of DHU, I see no reason why I shouldn't finish.

Secondary Goal: To collect as many Charged Eggs as possible. Love these things. I'm letting my charge drop right now cause I'm in an area where I need to use other charms, but as soon as I have all of the eggs, I plan to go back to the beginning of the LG and use lots and lots of Charged Charms.

I'm well into my Iceburg run and I have a very excellent shot at the Deep mouse. Yay! After that I'm going back after some of the mice I haven't caught yet, and closer to the end of the event I'll start cycling for Dhreller.

People in the comments were asking whether the program was available on 5.25" floppy disks as well, not just on 3.5" (sp?) - I have used those disks for years
I have even - but only once - used 8" floppy disks. They were indeed really floppy

What are everyone's late-in-the-event goals?

I've got 39 different eggs so far, and I'm only able to reach 7 more, and only 4 of those are realistically possible to get: Assassin, BBB, Gauntlet Bard, and Cook.

Currently I'm working on a treasure map, choosing first the areas that are good for the Charge Eggs cycle, and will continue in such areas throughout the Egg Hunt. I found that Town of Digby was generous with Charge Eggs, at least when I hunted with Limelight.

I also liked Forbidden Grove a lot - I had only been in briefly for a treasure map earlier, but this time I hunted for eggs and Runes, and did the same in Acolyte Realm with my new Tara . I didn't get Chrono or Lich eggs - didn't really expect them either - and I had one FTC on an Acolyte I stayed in AR till I ran out of Runic cheese (I need such a lot of Runes to get the equipment to get Runes with )

But I left with a lot of gold, both from mice, and from Charge Eggs. I have made more than 2 million gold in just over a week, and have just bought the CoT - so I'm better off for the JoD mice on the map now. Thank you for advising me to go straight for the CoT and not waste gold on the Gorgon

I FINALLY got one of the last three eggs I need. The Corrupt Egg dropped for me just a bit ago. I have four Graveblossom left before I have to go back to the Twisted Garden to farm more. Crossing my fingers that I magically get a Cursed Librarian Egg before then.

So what are everybody's favorite eggs? I honestly wasn't all that impressed with the designs this year (what's up with the Crystal Library and Iceburg eggs? They look almost identical...) so all of my favorites are the old ones.
Prettiest goes to the Gauntlet Magic Egg.
Cutest goes to the Nibbler Egg.
Funniest goes to the Spud Egg.
Best loot goes to the Golden Egg, but the High Charge Egg is a close runner up.

I am having a fabulous run through the gardens. . . I'm up to 76 graveblossom petals and 144 pieces of duskshade left!
