@Kat, IMHO, this area doesn't seem to matter how many cheese you start off with. 150-200 Dewthief is typically my goal, and I get average 2 Twisted Carmines out of it. Sometimes I get more, sometimes I get none at all. I guess I would suggest 12 pieces of Lunaria is a good number to start with? And I would go ahead and go on to Graveblossom.

I managed to snag a Eclipse Mouse with the charm that causes a double drop. So I got two Eclipse eggs. I used the Tyranno trap that I got from Ronza.

Not sure what egg I will go after next, but I figure that I'll go back to the chocolate factory at night to go after more MM. The charms come in handy. I also need more of the eggscavator charge charms for those three eggs. *the name of all of this escapes me at the moment.

Ok, got my golden egg and now I'm gonna start checking 'em off the list. I think I'm gonna go by area, eastish to westish.

Iceburg eggs first
Crystal Library and SS Huntington eggs
Valour and Gnawnian Eggs
Furoma Egg
Haunted and Chrono Eggs
Muridae Market Egg
all Living Garden Eggs

And then of course the Charge Eggs when I go back and get Charge Charms *cough*forgotthem*cough*

I'm still hunting in the Chocolate Factory - farming gold
The technique was suggested in the fora, and I'm having a go at it - only for a little while ...

I charge up the Eggscavator fully (I bought some MM, otherwise it would take ages to get enough for 20 charms) and got some Low, Medium and High Charge Eggs while doing that.

Then I switch to Eggstra charms and allow the Eggscavator to go down 3 notches. It's still at High, so if I catch an egg dropping mouse, I get 2 High Charge Eggs (at 10K gold each - plus there's an Eggstra Charm as well).

When I'm down at 17 on the Eggscavator, I switch back to the Eggscavator Charge Charms again and charge it fully - rinse and repeat.

It requires a decent drop rate, and it takes a lot of MM for the charms, but if there was nothing more to do at the event, I might do more than just two or three cycles ...
(I've got 7 High Charge eggs so far and expect 3-5 more during this cycle.)

BUT there are mice at the factory that require Dark Chocolate Charms, and then there is the whole world that is full of area-specific eggs! And I only have the Pirate Egg of those, because there's a Pirate mouse at the Chocolate Factory!

So I'll just finish this cycle, and then do some more adventurous hunting ...

Edit, a week later:
No need to finish anything - the cycle can be run from anywhere, but the point then is to go down to 12, not 17, and take advantage of the Medium Charge Eggs with their MM as well ...

Thanks for sharing that Varna. The Charge eggs are at the bottom of my list to collect so I'll save those for last (they just don't look as cool ).

I was sorry I missed seeing the hint about the double Golden Eggs yesterday. I've been making an effort to scale back my time on FB so I've been signing in in the morning and evenings and that's about it. Getting on to post about tournaments are an exception, so if something is posted there and not here, I'm likely going to miss it. Ah well. I will survive.

Next egg I'm going for is Drheller and then after that is the Crystal Library.

As a side quest to all of the egg hunting, I'm extremely close to getting three more gold crowns: the Gold mouse, the Grey mouse, and the Snow Slinger Mouse. Depending on how much time I have, I may make an effort to hit 500 on all of these... or I may just wait until I get them while doing treasure hunts.

I'm still working on my first 10 eggs... I only have 3 so far including the gift egg :/

Have all the eggs, but while hunting around the kingdom for others, I feel I may be missing something... just to clarify, the charge on one's Eggscavtor only affects the loot inside the eggs you find, not the drop rate?

I think the charge only decides whether you get a Low, Medium or High Charge when you get a Charge egg. It's possible that the High Charge Egg may have a higher drop rate than the other two, though.

I wouldn't really know ...

Took me FOREVER to charge my Eggscavator, lol. I was stuck on three eggs all day yesterday and then I was FINALLY able to get out of the rut today. Only took me three donations to get enough MM for it.

Anyway, spent the rest of the day in the Iceburg and collected a handful of Iceburg eggs. The trap loot is nice because I still need some and I'd rather not have to camp out in SS anymore. I'm on track to get my Icewing egg tomorrow, and then...

...I didn't think I was going to be able to get the Deep mouse this year, but I realized that if I do another full run, I'll have enough BCF to craft the Deep Freeze base before I get to Icewing. I won't have my Hearthstone, which is unfortunate, but I might be able to squeak it by. We'll see...I really want to try.

It's sad that I didn't have all the equipment already, because I am having AMAZING DLU on this Iceburg run and I'm about to get all three chests well under 250 hunts, and that was only with two of the special bases, lol. Pretty sure I didn't craft the third base until after I was out of that area. Anyway, the Bombing Run was pretty much all 20ft mice, which was sweet. I'm scared that I'll have a terrible run next time to compensate.

Anyhow, it will be passive-ish playing for the rest of the week, and I'll head into the Tower on Saturday. After that, I'll charge up my Eggscavator...I don't want to do it before then because I won't have enough online time to really get my money's worth out of the charms.

Hooray for MM being the gift of the day. Now I won't have to farm so much when I go for the Charged eggs. Thanks to everybody who sent me some.

Well, it took me about 19 hours of having my cheese, gold, and points stolen, but I got General Drheller and checked off the Iceburg eggs. I just snagged the Crystal Library egg so it's onto the mainland. I'm gonna work on the Valour, Gnawnian and Furoma eggs until the next FG closing. I think the Chrono Egg is the hardest on my list so that's the next one I'll be focusing on.

I've got: Iceberg, Icewing, Deep, Living Garden, Muridae, Gnawnia, and Eclipse so far.

Tried for the furoma and huntington eggs and haven't gotten them yet. Just set up in the library for the day to go after the library egg.

I've got Burglar, Cherry, Diamond, Gnawnia, Haunted, Pirate, Scavenger, Spud, Valour, and Whisker Woods.

And High Charge, Medium Charge and Low Charge - must have got dozens of those, I've made a million gold this week

The Charge Egg Cycle takes some active hunting, though, and as I expect to be mostly off Facebook and MouseHunt for a few days, I need to rely more on trapchecks and won't have the chance to do regular charm changes.

So I've let the Eggscavator get discharged - and then I won't get even the Low Charge eggs. Well, there are more than two weeks left, I can do more of those later. This is my first Egg Hunt, and I want to get as many different eggs as possible ...

So far I have found 3 eggs I did not have last year, including one of the new eggs. I have found the Dragon, Warpath, and Thistle Eggs. I'm in the Lost City now trying to loot the LG Egg and the Ethereal Librarian Egg. I'll go back to the Factory tonight to farm more MM so I can finally (I hope) hunt for Charge Eggs. I need 8 more charms to fully charge my Eggscavator. I'll probably try for the Black Widow, Silth, and Hydra Eggs later since I need to get the BW and Nomad for my Treasure Map.

Edit: I've got the LG Egg now. Trying for the Ethereal Librarian Egg.

I got my very first Silth - with a Hunting Research of 5,000 bonus points in addition to the very good points level it already has for me - and with the Silth Egg!

A little later I also got my first Troll, so now I've finally covered the whole Forest Guild. So I've been doing good at the Lagoon, even though I couldn't stop the Hydra from eating my cheese and running away - four times

I'll see whether it's easier to catch it at the Ship.
