I've abandoned the Birthday Event for the time being to farm gold. I had a leftover Tier 8 potion from last Easter which has now been put to good use. If you need me, I'll be in the Pinnacle Chamber.

Really surprised that she didn't bring any bases.

Ronza has returned to town, after a long voyage overseas! But it seems the mice have finally risen up against her and her awesome traps!

Ronza has brought ovens to bake cakes for MouseHunt's 5th Birthday. It seems there's always some trouble with the cake base, so she wanted to help! However, with that giant mouse-robot thing stomping about, all the bases have been squished!

Help save Ronza's airship by collecting pieces of the giant robot from the Mouse Force Five to build your own in retaliation! And be sure to visit Ronza's shops before she leaves so you don't miss out on all the awesome items!

Cool! I wonder if the Cheesecake Base will show up again. I missed out on the event that year.

I've also set up in the Pinnacle Chamber, because I can't even afford to get all the traps I want, much less a base or the awesome LG crafting stuff Ronza has brought.

I have 21 OG and 44 Rumble cheese, and 270+ Wealth Charms. Bring on the moolah!

(Of course, I say that and FTA on my first hunt. Silly little ZFM, not catching mice.)

I was doing awesome on this technic run... then I caught 4 mystic pawns in the last 5 mice... they may make me rethink staying here if the devs don't give me some extra luck soon... I want in on this event

Opinion based question:

My Mom has caught all the mice in the tribal isles. She has not went into the JoD, Balack's Cove or The Acolyte Realm. She has 19.5 million points and almost 3,000,000 gold.

Do you think she'd be better off buying the forgotten trap or the Tribal Isles trap?

Hmmm... well, I personally would lean towards the Forgotten trap as there isn't anything better in the game, but I think there are several traps better than the TI one. But I also tend to prefer traps that don't have specific area specialties. That's backfired on me a time or two.

I've been quite pleased with the amount of gold I've garnered so far today. I'm not sure but I think it's been close to 1mil in gold. Most of that came from the Eclipse Mouse but my catch rate in the Pinnacle Chamber has been very high so I've gotten a lot of gold from the Mojos. So yeah, I've been very happy about that and hope to keep it up.

Has anybody seen or heard when the event is going to end? I skipped out of the event even before I'd caught all of the new mice cause I wanted to get working on gold but I don't want to miss out on building the giant robot trap and catching the last mouse.

I've gotten 8 of the 50 required parts thus far.

I've been farming gold pretty well so far. I caught 9 Sojos with 21 pieces of OG, hunted with Rumble for a few hunts (caught two Mojos), turned my Onyx Stones into unstable curds, got 8 more OG from that (plus some other Furoma cheeses and a bit of Gouda). Now I'm hunting with OG again. Caught another Sojo. If I keep this up, I'll have at least the 4 mil required for the Forgotten trap by the end of tomorrow.

Would my Horrific Venus be strong enough for the Sojo? I've got 134 OG lying around waiting for a stronger trap - but now I need 3 more mil for the Forgotten trap, although I don't know whether it's possible to make it in a week.

87 Sojos would make 3 mil - that's not realistic from 134 OG ...

The Dino trap is going to give you better results long-term, because there is only ONE other Forgotten trap in the game. There are more than adequate traps that you can get for TI; but you can't find a better Forgotten trap then this on.

Varna, You can catch the dojo sensei with the horrific Venus mouse trap but it's difficult. It should be said that I have the sphynx wrath and catch rate is only about 1 in 7.

That's what I feared, Digs - it would probably be a waste of good cheese. I've caught him once, but that's all.
Farming shards, crafting Rumble and going for the Mojos might be a little more safe, but also a bit slow. (I had a great time with the Mojo during the Lucky Weekend )

For now, I guess I'll see what I can do at the Marketplace ...

And I'm doing well with my robot - 29 pieces thus far!

Speaking of catch rate, the Mojo is supposed to be about 50% with my current setup. Yesterday I caught all of the Mojos. Today I'm not catching a thing. *pouts*

According to Horntracker, with the Snake Jade, it's closer to 1 in 4, but I haven't actually tested that out yet.

I wish I had posted how much gold I started off with yesterday. I think it was about 8.7mil. As of this morning I'm at 10.1mil. Got a long ways to go.

Oh, and I have 4 robot parts.

I'm up to 23 trap pieces. Pretty excited about that!

I also purchased the T.Rex trap this morning.

After I finish with Ronza, I'm going to do as many warpath runs as possible so as to get money quickly so that I can buy that upgrade off the marketplace before the price spikes to a ridiculously high price.

Oh. . . and I'm .3% away from becoming a duke!!!!!

Between my hunts and selling my Springer Skin on the Marketplace, I now have over 4 mil gold, so I'm heading back to the event to focus on getting it done. We'll see what all I end up buying, but I'll probably get the T-Rex trap and whatever else I can afford.
