I was so annoyed this morning. I thought there had been a return of the bug where you're trying to get rid of the three curses in the Cursed City and the Corrupted Mouse keeps interrupting you, so I went on the MH Forums to find out. Turns out that it was a bug that kept the Corrupter away every time you dispelled a curse, rather than him being kept away for three hunts after you dispell all three curses. So they fixed it. Curses!!! That makes the Cursed City a whole lot harder. Oh, and I think the catch rates in the Sand Crypts have been tweaked as well because I'm getting a whole lot more FTCs. Grrrr.... Ah well, took advantage of it being a little easier while I could.

Meanwhile, I'm wrapping up the Lost City this morning. I think I will end up with somewhere around 150 Duskshade Cheese to move on with.

No, no big deal at all. Just took us 4.5 years for one of us to snag him. Seriously, I'm super duper excited for you! And jealous, I won't lie, but at the same time it's nice to know that mouse can be caught!

Well I certainly haven't had as much love from the game as DiGs has but I've actually had one of the best days in the Twisted Garden than I've had in a long time. I've been having a fairly high catch rate with a nice amount of high level essence drops. My red and yellow droplets are topped off and ready to go when I go after more TCs, and I'm just about done with Duskshade cheese and ready to move on to the Crypts and Cursed City. Here's hoping my good luck keeps up. I'm soooo close to my next trap.

I had a very good run through the Twisted Garden as well, and it's turned into a decent run through the crypts and city. I've already got enough for a four pack of Lunaria. If I can up that number, use some ULC's, maybe I can nab one or two Twisted Carmines

Either way, this run has gotten me enough essences to make a Gur essence, so I consider it to be a success. (But blimey, think if I got two carmines, that would be enough to get a Hix essence out of one run!!!!)

Got an invite for Gymmie's map yesterday. The group tore it up. I caught one mouse. Special thanks to Varna and Ara for doing 90% of the work. I got 25SB out of it, so yay! I cracked open another map this morning and saw it was another super easy one, so I sent some invites to the lower level players (Lady Courage and Mountie ) so hopefully we can knock that one out quickly as well.

Spending the day in the Sand Crypts. So far this area is being much kinder to me than my last time through as well and hopefully it will continue to go well *knock on wood*. (I swear the Devs are constantly tweaking catch rates cause it sure seems to be a dramatic difference.) I'm at 15 Salt Charms used. Based on the link I posted above I should have about a 25% catch rate of King Grub at 25 salt charms used so I'm gonna go for it and hope I don't waste a lot of Cynd Essences. If I do catch him that early....

What is the Daily Draw? I've been gifted with several raffle tickets for it (thank you to those who have sent them to me!) but I have no idea what to do with them. From what I can see it's a daily drawing to win SB+, right?

Yep, the daily draw is a daily raffle where you can win SB+ or Ultimate Luck Charms or some other set of goodies. If you look at the box that shows the picture of your trap setup, you'll see a tab there that says "Daily." Click on that and it will tell you both your Loyalty Chest of the day reward, and also what the daily raffle prize is.
As far as the raffle tickets are concerned, you are rewarded one for every ticket you send out, so I always try to send out 20 tickets (max) a day to my friends and family. Cause even if they don't send one back, that's still at least 20 tickets for me. And I've won a few times, so it's worth remembering

Speaking of which, when you mentioned traps it reminded me that I've upgraded mine! Today I logged on to discover that overnight I'd become an Initiate. Because of that, I traveled to the Harbour, where Larry proceeded to inform me that the mice are a little bit trickier here. So, I figured it was time for an upgrade. Currently I'm using the trebuchet with a target base.

I'm very much enjoying my first treasure hunt so far. (Thank you for inviting me, FK!) The only thing I dislike about it is that I've gotten FTAs the past three times I've hit the horn. Other than that, I'm excited to complete the challenge. This is going to be fun.

Congrats on Initiate, congrats on you upgraded trap, and hooray for moving onto the Harbour! A word of warning, the Harbour is the first area in the game where the mice can steal your gold, points, or cheese, so when this happens to you, DON'T PANIC! You'll make far more profit than you'll lose.

Aw, thanks for the congrats! It's nice to be moving up in MH. I have quite a few people to catch up to.

Ah, okay. That hasn't happened to me yet, but I might have been slightly alarmed and distressed if it had. Thanks for the warning, and also the words of encouragement. I do find it's incredibly annoying when I have setbacks in the game, even before reaching the Harbour, so it's good to know that I profit far more than I lose.

I opened a map of my own and started working on the SB only mice. I had the magic and the Nibbler. To those who hate catching the Nibbler... I caught 3 overnight in the Town of Gnwania. One dropped a relic.

I don't have this kind of luck with him on a regular basis, but I now have caught 16 nibblers.

No magic mouse though. On to the Harbor. I need a pirate mouse too.
