I did a really stupid thing yesterday. . . I had my OWN equipped while hunting in the Sand Dunes. Wasted about 15 pieces of Dewthief *facepalm*
I'm aiming for 100 Duskshade before having another run at Twisted Carmine. Currently I have about 30.
I plan on sticking in the living garden during the bonus luck event. Hopefully I can get some extra loot drops.

Jacob's drawing the Costumed Snake Mouse today for art FBF. I watched a little bit of it but then headed off to work on some stuff. I wasn't thrilled with it myself, it was too similar to the Costumed Dragon from last year, but eh, not every mouse can be mega-awesome. I did like the snake part of it at least.
So what are you planning for the Bonus Luck Weekend?

Ditto.
Finished up another failed run yesterday... failed = didn't catch any Twisted Carmines. The good news is that even if you don't have a successful run, at least you get loads of essences you can still apply towards your next trap. I'm currently at 2D, 2E, 1F, 1H (and a bunch of little ones but who cares about those? ) That Hix Essence has been obtained solely through farming little essences, so they definitely add up.
I have figured out one strategy point for myself. I only buy the Lunaria Camembert 4-Pack, never the singles. It's definitely worth smashing a few pieces of SB to get that extra piece of cheese imho.
I also decided to try waiting to pour out those red and yellow dewdrops for when I try to catch TC. Didn't do me any good yesterday as I never even attracted one, but I'll definitely try this again in the future in the hopes the bonus luck and power increase my catch rate.
Still trying to figure out how to make my runs as efficient as possible without burning a lot of SB.
Currently up to 26 Dewthief. I'm getting petals quite quickly today and now that the Bonus Luck event has started, I'm hoping to get even more.
FK: ditto that
Val: I guess I was thinking too far ahead, SW does take some time, the RR or the 2012 boom trap or whatever it was called works just as well, Sensei is super hard to catch, I don't really go for it unless i really have nothing to do
Hopefully ROnza will come soon although I doubt i will really need her traps unless she brings some OP shadow or arcane trap since everything else the basic ones are still the strongest
running out of Dewpetal cam. only 50 some left and i only have 200+ petals, unfortunately ill farm some more Dewpetal cause the shadow one i have 400+ which is too unbalanced, i think the shadow ones are weaker then the arcane ones, anyone notice that?
So.... Kat pointed out to me that the LG patch has been released.
Well, I see why they said they were gonna get hate mail. There is some seriously pricey stuff on there.
Rift Base Blueprints - 7.5mil gold (this had better be a good base )
Aromatic Oil - 1mil gold a piece (and it looks like you have to have AT LEAST one of these to attract the boss mice with no guarantee that you'll actually catch it/them)
I'm gonna say it's a safe guess we won't be seeing Ronza for a while still, not with this patch release. I may be doing some more Warpath runs in the meantime to help build up my gold even more, so if you all are up for some Warpath tournies, let me know.

I on the other hand am devoted to try to tackle this area, even though it may take me most of my adult life.

I refuse to go after the boss mice until I have all three new traps.
I still think Ronza might be a possibility as they fully intend on this area to take awhile to complete. I think I'm going to step back to the Living Garden from the Twisted Garden and go for 200 dewthief when I get back there. Going to shoot for starting a warpath run and finish this tourney and a map before I go back.

I just have a short attention span and like a little variety in my life. The nice thing about the LG as a whole though, is that you do get a change of scenery and mice as you go through, so that's nice.
By the way, how close are you to getting the POWN trap DiGs? I know you can't be too far off.
@Kat, yeah, at 1mil gold a shot (assuming that I read the descriptions on everything correctly) I'm not trying until I have the best possible setup to go after them. I don't mind tossing a little gold around for fun, but not that much.
So I am HOPING that now that this area has been completely released (I assume it has) that they'll do some LG tournaments? That'd be cool.
I'd just like to get a trap strong enough to get me there! My warpath wave is going horribly at the moment

So close. . . but so far

So did anybody besides me get emails from HitGrab support even though no support request was submitted? I got a couple and then noticed that they had a "we're looking into it" message go by on the news ticker.
I forgot to mention in a previous post that I got quite a few Lucky Mice over the weekend in the LG hunting with Gouda. So if they do that weekend event again in the near future, that's probably where I'll plan to be.
Currently just plugging away in the LG. I have 1F, 1G, and 1H of the upper level essences. So 5 more Twisted Carmines to go for my next trap. (Or the essence equivalents thereof...)
A handful of us finished up another treasure map early this afternoon. Slowly rebuilding my stockpile of Ancient Charms. I'd like to get well over 100 again because I will likely use them when going after the new boss mice in the LG areas.

Yeah, I got two of those earlier today. I was a wee bit confused

I, on the other hand, was in there with Gouda for the entire weekend, and caught/attracted 3.
I can now craft an icuri essence at any time I want. My current essence count is 3A 0B 3C 2D 2E 2F 2G 2H 0I. I'm hoping to get enough lunaria to at least have a chance at another Twisted Carmine. If all goes as it should, I will have my POWN by the end of the night. . . in all likelihood though, I'll only have an icuri essence by the end of the night, and will likely spend the rest of the week trying to get another Est and Fel essence

I decided to leave the King's Gauntlet alone and go with the Ship instead. So currently I'm in the Nerg Plains, farming Savoury Vegetables and Yellow Pepper Seeds ...
The Furoma run got me the gold that I needed, and now that I've crafted the Horrific Venus Trap, I'm in a stronger position to farm even more gold. I haven't got enough points yet for the other traps, but I think I'll have a go at the other tribes even with my current traps.
The Furoma run also got me 20 Onyx Stones. I'm keeping them for now, in case I decide to craft the Onyx Mallet - no blueprints yet ...

I wouldn't waste your time/gold to be honest. You can build the rhinobot, which is amazing, at 16,000,000 points, I think, and you can use that (and it's upgrade the enraged rhinobot) for a LONG time.

^^ That's what I did. And then I got to the Library and kept getting research assignments that required the Onyx Mallet. Research can be smashed, but I kept getting assignments that required that trap even after smashing them. On the other hand, it didn't actually take me very long to craft the Onyx Mallet since I had stronger traps for farming Onyx stones.
Currently in the Muridae Market farming stuff. I've built the Cheese Shop, General Store, and Trapsmith. I'm probably going to do a run through the Warpath fairly soon because I need more flameshards.
I ended up nabbing 5 Lunaria cheese, which is way more than I expected to get with that pathetic run (only ended up with 50 pieces of Graveblossom). I'm disarming for now due to class starting soon, but I have hopes that I can nab at least one Twisted Carmine with this. . . . if not, I'll craft an icuri essence and just work on getting the rest of my essences required for the blueprints.
EDIT: All went as planned. I've now got the POWN!
