Yah, I heard about that in the forums Gymfan15

COngrats on Lady :P Ith

I have 100+FF and 100+ Ice coins, should get me past the event

I'm probably gonna use my FF just for the ice coins, i wanna go furoma again, running out of gold esp with the LG upgrades

DIgs: why winter charms? +4 luck and what else does it give? I'm not really sure nor do I really care, its 2 FF...to me I guess I like the FF better, although I might make some just of the kicks

All six presents have been put together and wrapped. I purchased the trap this morning. Now I just need to wait for Christmas. :) In the meantime I'm farming more Ice Coins. :)

Me and my hubby and stwin are doing a 3p tourny that starts in 45 min. There are a ton of people signed up so hopefully we'll do well. :)

With the winter charms and FF, you attract the mice of Winter Past, Present and Future. If you've already got them from an earlier year, not so important - as a new hunter, I want to catch one of each.

They are supposed to attract the best mice, with the best loot.

Edit:
At my level, the current mice population in the MegaBuy Mart is quite good for farming points and gold, too.

Winter charms also allow you to attract more mice that drop winter loot.

We're almost there for the first part of the Great Winter Hunt - I just wonder what Greedy Al will drop. They say there's a surprise about the trap - perhaps he drops another, or some kind of upgrade - and they say it's not the traditional "smash it and craft the pieces" type, but something new.

13 more Ice Coins, and I'll get the trap, and then wait for the Unwrapping Ceremony and the hunt for Greedy Al.

I am now the proud owner of the Winter Theme that I just purchased with one Ice Coin remaining. :D ;)) I didn't look at it when it was linked up above, but boy is this one cute/pretty. I'll definitely be using it for a while cause I really like it. :)

I am not a fan of themes at all. . . save for the Golden Shield theme. Hopefully I'll be able to hang onto that one for a while ;))

I just used all my Ice Coins to buy the trap, so I start saving up for the theme now.
As I'm also at zero Festive Feta, it may take me a while - unless there are some pleasant surprises on the 25th, of course.

And I've now got enough gold not to have to worry about shelling out 150 000 gold for that trap - but I mustn't forget that I've got a ship that has to be crafted soon.

In the Green gifts I've received several plant pots, so I guess I ought to go for pepper plant farming after the event. That's on one of the isles that the ship will take me to, right?

FK to Hubby: "Grrrr... I can't catch a mouse tonight."
Hubby to FK: "It's Christmas Eve. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. ;) "

*still needs Robot parts* I don't think I've ever had this much trouble with getting parts to drop before.

And don't forget that Ronza will likely be making a return visit sometime in the new year. . . . . .

FK. . . that's stinkin' hilarious!!!

Hoping that they release Al today.

EDIT: Nabbed Al. . . HATE the look of the new trap, but it's pretty awesome for new players! Better than the Christmas Cracker Trap, which I used all the way through my first run through derr dunes.

I thought of buying something for the ship, but decided to wait until Ronza has been here. I can always farm more gold for the ship later.

Speaking of which, the event hasn't been bad for farming gold either. I've been looking for feta and coins, while the gold (and the points) have piled up silently ...

I finally got Al! I also got the Mouse of Winter Future a few days ago... so now I just need the Calligraphy and prize mice out of the Event group :)
