I also snagged my first, second, and third Twisted Carmine last night (that was out of nine pieces of cheese). I have everything I need to craft the Soiled Base, but looking at the stats... meh. GTB is way better, even with the special garden charms, so I can strike that off the list for now.

I've decided to go for the Oasis trap first. I have a ways to go, but hey, I don't have anything else to do. Based on the rough math in my head I think I'm going to need 24 more Twisted Carmines to get all three traps... six more for the Oasis.

So I'm back in the Living Garden again farming (get ready for it) 800 Petals. I don't think that will be enough to get all three traps but it should handily be enough to get the Oasis. We'll see how far I can get before the Christmas event. :)

I've put off going into the Living Garden (even though I can), merely because I haven't collected all the various traps available to me in the areas I've already visited. Then I got tired of the Warpath (I hate wave 3), so I'm off finishing up my map. Don't know what I'll do after I catch this last mouse...I don't want to go back to the warpath, and I want to stockpile more gold, just in case Ronza shows up after the new year. ;))

I may go and work on my amplifier in the garden for a bit, then perhaps hop over to the Gauntlet, since I've never spent much time there. OR, I could finish my work on the 'burg, and I've actually never gone into Balak's Cove. Oh, the possibilities! :P

Really, I just want the Christmas event to start already. ;))

Lucky you FK. . . I had 13 pieces of Lunaria and only nabbed one Twisted Carmine :(

With Christmas starting soon (see the new mouse on the FB page yet?) I probably won't be doing anything except sitting in the garden and waiting. I might go and finish my warpath run (which is nearing its end) in hopes of getting a loot drop and selling it for a boost of cash ;).

DiGs, if you get a Sandblasted Metal or Sphynx Crystal, I'll buy it off you. I still need both traps. ;))

I'm closing in on my goal of 80 more Dewthief Petals. I have 67 now.

And I'd be very willing to give you an EXTREME discount. . . . perhaps even free ;)

I've about decided I'm going to farm dreamfluff, dewthief, and duskshade until the christmas event starts. That way I can hopefully make a run for more of the luneria crafting items.

Consolidating the Living Garden trap and base recipes here so I don't have to constantly scroll through this thread looking for them.

Clockwork Portal Trap
1x Clockwork Portal Trap Blueprints (1x Fel, 1x Icuri)
1x Clock Parts
8x Umbral Capacitors

Grand Arcanum Trap
1x Grand Arcanum Trap Blueprints (1x Gur, 1x Icuri)
1x A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Parts
1x Arcane Crystal
40x Tiny Platinum Bars

Phantasmic Oasis Trap
1x Phantasmic Oasis Trap Blueprints (1x Est, 1x Fel, 1x Icuri)
1x Oasis Water Node Trap Parts
3x Phantasmic Essence

Soiled Base
1x Soiled Base Blueprints (1x Fel, 1x Gur, 1x Hix)
3x Fresh Living Garden Soil
1x Dewthief Petal
1x Duskshade Petal
1x Graveblossom Petal
1x Lunaria Petal

....................

Well, I'm up to 40 Dewthief Petals. That's 5% of the way to my goal. ;)) I'll be curious to see if I can hit it before the Christmas event starts, but I'm guessing not.
The nice thing is that the past Christmas events were casual enough that I'll still be able to bounce back and forth between there and the LG. And yes DiGs, I did see that new mouse, I loved it. ;))
ETA: Oh! And I also crafted my first Gur and Hix Essences. :) Just the Icari to go on Essence crafting.

I'm farming up some of the arcane one, maybe i'll be goign to teh twisted regions for a spin :) I did in fact craft the RP and the Oasis Water Node which did make me dip really deep into my pockets seeing i only have roughly 5 mil left :(
I guess I'll leave Mh overnight and hope somethign magical happens, btw, it takes forever for me to get one of those stampedes, is it the same for u guys?
LA: I think itd be best to tie the unfinished businesses like finish your FW run, finish Iceburg, maybe finishing BC would be a good choice but I strongly advise u not to go to KG, it is a waste of time and the reward is mediocre for all the time spent :)

Sha: If i get anythign on my next run and you don't have the trap I promise you i'll give it to you for free

In case anyone sees my setup and wonders what on earth I'm doing :-o - it's mostly for fun.

I bought the Mouse Mary O'Nette a little while ago just for my collection because it looks cute - and since I travelled to the Meadow right now to buy some cheese, I thought I might as well use it a little (and testing what Cheddar will do) ;)

My current short-time goal is to catch another four White mice and get a Silver Crown for them. :)

I had a great streak in wave 4 of the warpath only to get my kiester kicked trying to clear that last Warden. Why does this always seem to happen ;))

Wil: eh, I don't mind that the gauntlet is a dead end. I've never spent much time in it at all, and I'd like to finish it at some point (never gone beyond the first level). I'm just tired of the warpath, and the 'burg. I've decided instead, though, to work on collecting all the parts for Zurreal's Folly, so I can say I did it. I'm not much for motoring through the game as quickly as possible, given that the only area I can't go right now is the Living Garden (and that's only because I didn't want to shell out the gold for the key!). The hunt for the parts for this trap is giving me a change of pace and scenery, though, so I'm happy with it. :)

I got the Silver Crown for my 100th White Mouse :)

So I've done my testing, and found that hunting using the Mouse Mary O'Nette trap with Cheddar in the Meadow is good value for money.
As not much money is involved either in or out, it's slow work, though ;)

So now I'm back at the Mousoleum, where the Obelisk of Slumber doesn't seem to give me as many red boxes as in the Catacombs. I'll try to farm a good supply of gold before the December event starts ...

Well I did end up with a loot drop from my Warmonger! Got an Oasis Bead! I don't know what I'll do with this. One one hand, I might craft another Oasis trap so that I can continue to see my beautiful Winter trap skin. Or I might give/sell-at-extremely-discounted-price to one of you Baron's who doesn't have it yet. Or I might sell it as the prices have skyrocketed since the release of the Living Garden.

I might have to think on this ;))

If one of y'all want it, I'll sell it to you for 800K (They're selling for 1.9 million on the market right now. . . so that's less than half ;) ).

@Varna, Congrats on the 100th White Mouse. :D
I wanted to toss a suggestion your way for you to consider. I know your goal is to make money, and the best possible way for you to do that right now is to get your ACRONYM trap and hit the Catacombs. You need two more things to do — an Onyx Stone (catch a Master of the Dojo) and several Scrap Metal (off of Scavengers in the Catacombs). Of course, the catch is that I don't know you'll be able to do that before the Christmas event, so you may want to stick with the Mousoleum.

@DiGs, congrats on the Oasis Bead. ;))

@Wren, have fun with your Library Assignment. I liked that one. :D

Well, I'm up to 100 Dewthief Petals. ;)) 700 more to go. I doubt I'll get there before the Christmas event starts but I'll keep plugging away on it. :)

;)) about your Oasis Bead, DiGs.

I managed to collect my Dewthief Petals and headed back to the Sand Dunes to farm Duskshade Petals. I'm almost to my goal of 200. I will (I hope) come back in the morning to find that I've reached my goal if I don't reach it before going to bed tonight. Then it's on to the Living and Twisted Garden! :D Maybe I'll make it a good way along before the Christmas event starts.

By the way, I'm very excited about the Christmas event. It's usually my favorite part of event season (partly for the fun of the event, partly for the time of year, and partly because it's frequently been followed by Ronza).
