The Halloween Event has been extended to November 9th due to Hurricane Sandy.
That was the extent of FBF today because they are super duper busy over there they didn't have time for anything else. Well, that announcement and the creepy gorilla moment, but you guys can go check that out for yourselves if you want to know.
I think due to Sandy, the opening of the Living Garden will be postponed as well. That and it didn't sound like they were done with it anyways.

Well, finished up another Treasure Hunt map. My ridiculously lucky husband got 75 SB and my friend who STILL did not get her trap (really?) got the Ancient Amulet collectible instead.
Doing a Muridae tournament this afternoon, should be interesting as there are currently five teams signed up. And then I'll be helping EtJ out with his treasure map.

I'm finishing up a library assignment in furoma. Apparently, if you get the catch 50 mice with a tactical trap, you can catch 50 mice ANYWHERE with a tactical trap. I did a tower run while I was helping fantasia with a map and reached the 50 mouse mark pretty quickly. lol.

Since the event is running long, I may see about finishing my current run through of the pumpkin patch unless I get caught up in another map or tourney. I do have a couple of unopened maps.

I assume you mean me. I haven't finished this run in the Warpath yet. So far my only loot drop has been the Oasis Bead.

I believe the event trap is a guaranteed drop if you catch the Swamp Thang Mouse.

That's strange that you haven't caught a BW yet. I'm trying to catch the Ooze Mouse in the Cats right now.

And I just caught our Derr Lich. I'm going to go ahead and try to fill up my amp so I can make a Technic run and get the Rook.

I'm going to put my money on any day now with next week the absolute latest. Clues? Well...
~They wanted it to be out a month before the Halloween event started so people would have plenty of time to get into the area, but they were unable to get it completed that quickly. But that gave them a whole extra month and a half to work on it.
~Using the same logic it's gotta be out REALLY soon because the Christmas event always starts at the beginning of December and that's less than a month away now.
~I doubt they'd push it off until after the Christmas event because they promised the Living Garden would be out this year.

Of all things our Treasure Hunt group is stuck on a Spud and Pirate mouse in order to finish up the map. Now a couple people are in a tournament at the moment, which is fine, but you'd think the other three of us could catch those mice with no problem. But noooooooooo.... they're playing hard to get.

Wrapped up a couple bitty treasure hunts with people. My poor friend still does not have her trap. Does anybody know if it's still in the game? As far as I can tell it is. I'm just really surprised she hasn't gotten it yet.

Kat started an Arduous map that I've joined, but I'm trying to get my SG amplifier maxed out before I start working on it. Ironic that Winter is now my favorite SG season thanks to the Oasis Base and Amplifier Charms. It used to be my least favorite season.

I should mention too that from this point on I probably won't be interested in any tournies lasting longer than six hours or treasure hunts with mice that take a long time to catch. I'm ready for the Living Garden and don't want to be tied up in other things when it comes out.

Got my Winter Key Shard today! GTB/ASG/Attraction/Gouda. I was anticipating having problems catching him, but apparently it was just attraction that I was needing.

So now I've crafted my Zugwang's Tower key, and I'm going to head in there as soon as the Halloween event is over and I do some reading up on it. I'm only about 700k away from being able to craft my ZFM, since I believe ZT is largely (or completely?) a Tactical area and that's a very good upgrade from my HVMT.

So...should be fun! I admit that I'm more excited to start working on ZT and as a result the Crystal Library than I am to sit in the SS for days collecting trap and base parts. Oh well. It will be a good place to camp out when I don't have time to baby my horn.

At my level it seems to be a useful base. I've used since I picked it up, with the Digby DrillBot, in the HT, and I catch lots of mice with it.

Nice, personally I probably won't be using that fanbase anytime soon unless it has a special ability, but that's just me

Gymfan15: it is really a good idea to get a ZFM before going into the ZT due to the fact it has considerably higher power, or so I remember, and the amps only upgrade power
I haven't been in ZT for a while, although I suspect I'll go once I buy my two ambush upgrades, or I just might ditch them like I have been neglecting them for a while now:)

I got the Fan Base just because I could. It's nothing special at my point in the game.

I'm currently on a Technic run in the Tower. I'm waiting on the Bishops at 144%. Depending on how the hunt goes, I may try for a double run. I really want to get a Chessmaster, though, and charge one of my Scholar charms.

I'm also closing in on 11% toward Duke. I worked it out and given average Warpath runs, I'll need another 9 or so to level. That, plus the Living Garden coming out, should make this a fun level to work through. Once I'm done in the Tower, I'll head back to the Warpath and try to finish off my Warpath run. I'm somewhere in Wave 3.

I'm having a terrible time catching mage weaver and blacksmith mice in the market right now. I've went through 40 charms and only caught 2 mice, which brought me up to 24 papyrus. I was kinda hoping to get the papyrus base before heading into the Living Garden, because I feel like there will be an upgrade to that base in there. . . oh well
