I caught the Swamp Thang overnight, and I'm sitting at 9 Cobwebs and 114 Candies. I'm hoping to get 3 more Cobwebs so I can at least buy the Halloween theme scrap and the Ice Maiden Skin.
I'm starting up my second run, and hoping I can get in on someone's event map, since S-Thang (almost shortened that to ST ) didn't drop me one.
Congrats on the Mousevina, Varna!

I'm not sure I should start on a second run - I need to do basic things like find the key to Digby Town to go there to buy my first Shadow trap.
And the daily ringing on doorbells doesn't give me the daily amount of Halloween cheese that I need (at least not in the Pumpkin Patch), but I guess I could do two non-Event days and then one Event day. I need some more of those basic things to be more effective in the Event anyway.

Varnie, if you use Brie in the event, you'll attract a TON of Hollowhead mice, which usually drop a few pieces of event cheese.

With me, they just eat my Brie and run away

I'd like to thank Lady Arwen for the invite to her map. We kind of blasted through it yesterday and snagged the last mouse at about 3am this morning (my time). Got my Halloween theme. The journal outline is just ok, but I do like the pumpkin on my profile just above the corkboard.
I'll probably switch back to the Golden Shield theme when Halloween is over.
Caught my second Swamp Thang, still no map drop. I'll be in the Haunted Territories farming maps until all of my friends have the Halloween theme that want it.
Also wanted to say real fast that the Spooky Charms are actually useful now (thanks to the maps) so if they come up as a gift of the day, I would like those instead of pumpkin baskets.
How's everyone else's Halloween Event going?

Working through a map. All are caught but the Ghost Moose and he has been most elusive. Trapped Spider Moose (Spider Pig, Spider Pig. Does what ever a Spider Pig does. Can he swing, from a web? No he can't, he's a pig. Look out. Here comes the Spider Pig) Anyhoo. Trapped Spider Moose in the Kittycombs. Going after Ghost Moose in the Moosoleum as the encounter rate is a lot higher than in Haunted Territories. Edit: ramagut bagged the Ghost Moose 11 minutes ago. Nicely done.
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Did a few Halloween tournaments that went well (last night we snagged top 10%! ) and did a couple Treasure Hunts. I've gotten everything out of the Halloween event that's currently available that I want though I'll hit up the shops to spend my candies and cobwebs before the event ends entirely.
Headed back to the Warpath for what will probably be my last few runs before the Living Garden comes out and I have a new place to spend all of my time. (I hope... kind of getting tired of the Warpath after 42 runs LOL)

Wow. Really? Is that all?
Wondering if I will be able to visit Living Gardens.
Finished up another map for HT. Managed to get quite a few mooses not in the the HT; Catacombs and Forbidden Garden has been more fruitful for the difficult ones.

The key to get in requires a run through the Warpath to unlock the Muridae Market, and then the rebuilding of the Cartographer. So you have to be at least Baron level and completed the Market area to get in.
I heard a rumor that you might have to be a Count but that's completely unconfirmed. Wouldn't surprise me if it was true though.
For my own curiosity's sake, I looked through the Scoreboard a few weeks ago and saw that the top 30,000 players in the game were Count rank or above. And there are even more players than that, that's just where I started seeing Baron rank mixed in. So I would definitely say it's time for some higher level areas.

I think it's brilliant. When I finally spend my candies and cobwebs, it will mostly be on stuff to tournament with. Gilded Cheese, potions, etc. Might get a skin or two, we'll see.
I've been using my candies to buy Amplifier and Dreaded charms, with a couple Cackle charms and Tier 3 Pots thrown in. I'm not really bothering with the rest because I can buy token packs with KC and I've been collecting a nice pile of Gilded from all the Burglar mice in the event area.
I did buy my first skin; the Candy Corn Ice Maiden one; but I think I'm going to use the rest of my Cobwebs on ULC's.
I'm just trying to buy stuff that will help with tournies or be very useful in the Lord/Lady level...not really buying for Baron because it will be quite awhile before I get there.
But speaking of ranking up, I should be ranking up to Lady today.
Super excited; I've had my Icebreaker license for weeks now, lol. Any suggestions as to where I should go first? I'm guessing that if I'm going for game progression, it's best to go to the SG and try and get the Tower Key pieces so I can get to ZT, so I can get my Library card, so I can get started on assignments. I want to do enough Iceburg runs to get my Steam Laser Mk III, but other then that, I'm in no rush. What with it being event season and me having so many new areas to visit, it might be a long time before I really work on the Berg, lol!
ETA: I think I can say with some certainty that the Living Gardens will be a Baron area. Why? MH already updated their rank page to say that there are 39 areas in the game, and Baron can hunt in 39/39 while Lord is only 37/39. Count and above is the same as Baron.
Jacob just dropped a spoiler pertaining to Living Garden during his art FBF today.
I'm back in the Halloween event trying to get that trap skin off of the Swamp Thing. Anybody know for which trap it is? It's rather hard to tell by the design.

Here's the mouse Jacob drew from yesterday.

Once again, for the first bit, I was kind of 'meh' about her, but I love the completed drawing. I believe the intention was that she's supposed to be kind of a big sister to the Assassin mouse in the Dojo? Or maybe that was just a starting point for the concept? Anyways, they definitely look like each other.
I too am back in the Haunted Territories. Getting close to finishing up the area, I think I'll have it by later today unless I hold off for a tournament tomorrow.
DiGs, the skin is for the Oasis Trap.

I've been wondering how best to spend my cobwebs, as I didn't particularly like the Halloween Theme - and I've only got 3 cobwebs so far.
Is the Ultimate Luck Charm then more useful than the Ultimate Power Charm?
I bought the Golden Theme, and a Lucky Golden Shield which is required to open it - will this also be required if I want to change theme?
Does anybody know whether (seeing that this is so new) if they, say, make a Christmas theme and I want to use that for a while and then change back to Golden, will I then need the Golden Shield again?

Yes . Ultimate Luck Charms are the best charms in the game as of right now.

I think so long as your golden shield is active that you'll be able to use the golden shield theme.
