I'm gonna opt Fri the 20th Though you're probably right
But I'd appreciate the extra weekend.
I've opted to work towards the General Drheller as using Dig's strategy it's probably easier to nab than the Garga...
Honestly I'm more excited about Christmas than Halloween... I'm hoping the release the Mouse of Winter Future again.
So I'm just missing the Garga, Crown Collector, Zurreal, the Drheller, the Deep, and 7 event mice.

Question: how do you get the Sandtail Call to Arms to drop? According to the Wiki, I've caught all the necessary mice, but I can't get a mouse to drop it. Do I just wait and hope I get lucky?
In the meantime, I am working on a Library assignment and trying to catch the Chessmaster. After which, I hope to catch Zurreal and maybe go to the lower areas and pick up a few mice I'm missing (such as the BBB, Chrono, and Goldleaf).
Answer: Yep. If you've caught your Silth and both Kings, it's just stick at it until you get the drop. I think FK said that one or two seasons are usually better for getting it, as it's not 100% on any of the mice, and some of them seem to drop it more readily.
I'm nearing the end of Wave 3 on the Warpath. only 9 Cavalry and 4 Mages left. I may be taking a detour for a Library and/or ZT tourney later, but we'll see.

The mice that drop it are the Bruticle, the Puddlemancer, Spring Familiar, Firebreather, Fall Familiar and Harvest Harrier.
Just be patient It took me a while to get mine to drop.

Feel free to post your catches/misses of rare mice here. I'm kind of curious as to where they're hanging out. So far my sister Ara has missed a Leprechaun in the Fiery Warpath and I just missed a Lep in the Seasonal Garden.
No rare mice sighted yet in the Iceberg...
Speaking of the Iceberg this Drheller is giving me issues... It took me two days to attract him in the first place... and I hadn't realized he pushes you back in the Iceberg if you miss him... If I don't catch him this round I'll probably just head to the SG until Halloween.

Caught a Hope mouse earlier... don't know if that qualifies, but it was a surprising catch nonetheless.

AROOOOOOO!!!
I think all the rare mice have increased in frequency during this "quasi-event." Ithi missed a Snooty, and I saw somebody on the forum saying that High Rollers have been spotted as well.
Either way, I'm camped out in Muridae Market, hoping that I can get a wee bit of the luck of the Irish

Oh... yes. That was in the news story.
The Leprechaun Has Returned!
The rumours are true! More and more Leprechaun Mouse sightings have been reported in the last week, and it looks like they are here to stay! What's more, hunters can expect to see even more Leprechaun mice in the coming week, all carrying great rewards and each with a chance to win a real cash prize!
Until Wednesday, October 17, there will be more prize mice and Leprechaun mice than usual roaming the lands! When this little streak of luck is over, the Leprechaun mice and other prize mice will be harder to find, but they are here to stay!
Use common cheese (Cheddar, Brie, Gouda, SUPER|brie+, or anything not overly special, rare, or difficult to obtain) to attract a prize mouse to your trap, but be warned for they are tough and will put up a fight! If you catch a Leprechaun mouse, you have a chance at winning a real cash prize!
But @Digs, FK, & Astro the Hope mouse is a prize mouse? Interesting you attracted one, Astro.
I finally caught the General Drheller... Currently sitting in the SG, but having terrible catch rates at the moment so that might change...

Yay! Knew you'd win out, Wolf
.
My current plan is to travel around and cross some of the rarer mice off of my list. I've caught the Hope, Tiny, and Worker recently.

AROOOOOOO!!!
The Hope Mouse is actually in the game all the time. I think he's in the Training Grounds or Dojo? Not sure why he hangs out there, but whatever.
I didn't watch Art FBF yesterday, but the mouse Jacob drew sure is cute.

There's the link if you haven't seen her yet. And you can suggest names for her if you so desire.
Also, I discovered that there are two contests going on at the moment. One is to design the Halloween Trap and the other is to design a Halloween
Mouse. Links are here and here.
She looks like a little spitfire to me . I'd probably call her "The Pepperhead Mouse" or "The Pepper Blaster Mouse"

I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 4 oz. Chess Master worth 119,600 points and 19,000 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 Master Bindings and 1 Ancient Relic
Not a single prize mouse has been attracted to my trap. Oh well. Still waiting for the Call to Arms. In the meantime, more runs through ZT so I can craft the Spellbook base and get more Scholar charms to catch Zurreal. This area gets mind-numbingly boring after awhile.
I got about 120 Runic Cheese. Going to hunt the Acolyte.
This should be interesting.
Also, I caught my first Lich.
EDIT: I just got the Acolyte. That was fast. I now regret having made all those runes into over a hundred pieces of Runic Cheese, since I only used about 8 pieces...
But there's no way I could have known... I guess maybe I should go after the Chrono or something?
