Really not sure what to do with myself. Feeling rather lost. May go to Balack's Cove *takes recommendation* Might start the Gauntlet again, as it is my safe, warm place.

A lot has happened since I posted last. I'm just going to give a general "Congratulations!!" to everyone who has accomplished a goal, caught a new mouse, crowned a mouse, got a trap, etc etc etc. Way to go all!

Anyhoo... gonna start a Warpath tourny here in 25 min. It's been a while since we did a tourny so I'm excited. I'm actually on a streak of 7 right now so I'm gonna go for a Garga right off the bat and we'll see if I can get REALLY lucky. I doubt it, but hey, it's worth a try.

12 more hours until it turns to Spring in the SG and we will finish up our Treasure Hunt. Anyone need help with their map after that?

I finally got the Iceblade Mouse! Moving onto the Yeti...

So I've been a MouseHunter for a week, and have gone through the first three levels - I'm now an Initiate and try to hunt at the Harbour.
I've been on two Treasure Hunts - I was offered a place on an Elaborate map, but chose to start on an Easy one instead.

And got the Ancient Gauntlet for it.

Since then I've been on the Elaborate map as well - my catch rate just soared with the new trap

I've got many NWeb friends already, but more NWebbers will also be welcome. Look for Bee Cissy

I'm in the sweet spot in the warpath for any possible warpath tournies coming up within the next few days. I'm not currently using any charms (in an attempt to rebuild my supplies) so I'll be in here a while.

Could I ask for some advice?

When I've got the Ancient Gauntlet, should I still buy the Swiss Army Mouse Trap?
Or should I rather buy the Explosive Base?

I don't have enough points to buy both - and I want a combination that will give me as many points as possible

I assume you mean gold? Gold > Points = different things.

I would get the SKAMT first and then get the Explosive base. You should try and craft the Dehydration base as soon as you have enough points; that's a good base that will last you awhile. The Swiss Army has better power and luck so that will help you out a bit. But it's up to you as to which one you buy first; you need to get both anyway, I would say.

No, I do mean points. I have enough gold to buy both, but not enough points for both.

So points is what I need most to build up more of. No-one can give me or lend me points if I need them ...

I think there's a major feature I've got wrong.
I assumed that with the requirement of a certain amount of points, buying an item would set me back by that amount of points.

But I just bought the Swiss Army and it seems that my points level hasn't changed?
If that's the case, I'm a lot better off than I thought I would be
