I think a whole bunch of people finished up maps yesterday. If you didn't already have the Ancient Relic trap, congrats on getting it. (ceppault, I know you're one of those people.)

Gymmie had a good idea this morning of starting a group on FB for both maps and tournaments, and I think we added pretty much everybody who still plays. So hopefully people will get notifications on who's running what and if there are still spots available, etc etc, without a lot of overlap.

I started an Elaborate Map where the hardest mouse was the Assassin and the longest one we have to wait on is the Puddlemancer. So we have a week. (The irony is that I walked into the Dojo last night and caught the Assassin in two hunts Never that lucky... ever.)
In the Tower right now snagging the Mystic Bishop and having another go at the Chessmaster (aka the Sock )
My time and maps are definitely going to help out the few people who still don't have the trap. There aren't a lot of people left, but those people have first dibs. After that, I'm up for whatever. I've free and available until Halloween.

fk, do you know approximately when the Halloween event will start?

Well I can make an educated guess. Last year it started on October 19th and two years ago it started on October 20th. They did confirm that they're going to use the same basic setup as the previous two years but with a few tweaks (so probably we'll be going through the Corn Maze and Haunted House again ). So as they don't have a lot of programming to do from scratch, I would imagine it'll start about the same time, give or take a couple days.

Believe me, I don't have it memorized I just trot over to MH Wiki and look it up there.

Just caught my 10th Chessmaster. Still no sock.

I'm hanging out in the Warpath for a bit to work on getting the gold crown for the Theurgy Wardens. I noticed I was really close and the map I'm on right now is easy and I figured I'd leave some mice for my poor teammates.

Ugh. So apparently I spoke too soon when I said that I liked hunting Dragons, lol. I got my first 9 Dragons easy peasy; no fuss and nonsense required. Since then I've tried on two separate occasions to get the 10th and with using the exact same setup, I've gone through maybe 50 pieces of IH and not a catch. Like, seriously? Such a pain. How did I go to catching a Dragon every three hunts or so to not being able to catch ONE in 20-30 pieces of IH? Meh.

Acolytes have been even less kind but I've not given up on them yet because I don't attract nearly as many Acolytes as I do Dragons. I'm half tempted to give up on Dragons/Acolytes/Balack until I get my GTB, but that's such ways off. The thought of sitting in the Cove farming Liches until I level up makes me want to pull out my hair, so it's back hunting the boss mice. (Well, not Balack because his cheese is too hard to get to just waste it on a Silver base).

I've laid up a bit of Rumble and I want to try for some MoJo's again, but I'd hate to waste the cheese because I only have a HVMT. My Sphinx Wrath is SO FAR AWAY, though...I guess there's no point in waiting until I have the best trap for everything. That would make for a very boring game.

I did get the trap finally. I'm back in the gauntlet for a bit. I discovered that my stash of Runny works well on tier 1. I've only missed 2 mice and they were failure to attracts not failure to catch since 7:22 this morning. So roughly 5 and a half hours? And I've gotten 5 sets of potion drops with the new trap, so 10 potions in total. I'm using the gold tournament base.

Edit: Finally got a seasonal garden assignment so I'm going to hop over there and try and catch some of the mice I need. I doubt I'll get it all done before Fall switches to Winter, but I figure I can get it started.

Well in tier 1 "decent trap" is really more about attraction than power so it depends on where you prefer to draw the line... I'm a bit extreme on this in that I used the Tacky Glue Trap before the Chrome Tacky Glue Trap came out... and most people thought I was nuts, but my Rhinobot just had terrible attraction rates in there...

Well, I don't remember what I hunted with before I got the Ancient Gauntlet, but it was always my highest luck/attraction and I never FTC'ed. I never tried the RB or ERB in there though. Don't those have terrible attraction rates anyway? lol.

Well, after today I'll be just over 150 tokens. Hopefully I can keep getting into tourneys so I can knock out that last 50 quickly; if I'm lucky it will be before I level up to Lady but I doubt it. At this rate I'm half tempted to sign up for the longest tourneys I can find because you get SO MANY tokens for those if you do half-way decent.
