I'm loving the look of everything Rift-related. I need to hurry up and work on my Rift Base soon, I guess. There are just so many distractions. And I'm determined to get as much of the new birthday stuff (trap, base, skins) as possible this year. None of it's LE, so it'll be back, but I'd still like to go for it. Plus, it's fun to try for all you can in any of the events.

Speaking of which, I'll probably be passing on a Deep Mouse run for Easter this year. Unless I end up with a lot of extra time between Bday and Easter events that I can spare from the LG areas and M400 stuff (not likely), I won't be anywhere near ready for a Deep Mouse. Eclipse, on the other hand, I should be well prepared for.

I got a skin from a birthday map chest - and I think they've been generous with charms and cheese on FB. I won't be using that skin, so I'm trying to sell it.

Someone said on the forum that he used Gnarled instead of Brie because he had such a lot of it. I looked at my inventory, and I had more than five hundred Gnarled! Must have been from poking Unstable Curds. I'm using it for farming potions, with good results.

Hoping for Ronza to turn up soon - I've got more than 25 mil gold now. A Sphynx upgrade would be interesting ...

So I am most definitely restless and ready for something else to happen. I did finish my second Conga line, and also finished building the dance floor. I got the trap and this year's birthday base. So yeah. Everything else is just icing on the cake. I took a break and finished up another M400 cheese assignment and then snagged another cheese assignment. Now I'm back at the event again gathering cheese and potions to see what this next week holds.

I've run out of Party Charms
I'm on my third Conga Line, wondering whether to actually buy a skin when I get my third Disco Ball. There's one skin I might actually use, so unless I get it in a treasure chest, I'll probably buy it - or wait till the end of the event and buy it then, if I haven't found better use for the Party Supplies (ULC charms?).
(I mentioned a skin from a treasure chest that I wouldn't use - I sold it for half a million gold )

I've also run out of Pink Action Figures, so I cannot buy any more Party Charms with Action Figures for a while.

Someone on the forum mentioned that the Black Widow was easier to catch during the event, so I decided to hunt her down - I've caught her four times over the last couple of days, and finally bronzed her
I also happened to bronze the Mole, and I have bronzed or expect to bronze most of the new event mice. But probably not El Flamenco ...

This event has been slow-going for me...I worked all week, and then went away this weekend so obviously MH was not a priority, lol. I've got all the upgrades except the Chaperone Table and am 3 mice into my second run.

I'll stick it out here for a little while longer; hopefully get a few trap skins that I can sell.

You can sell the trap skins? Nice. . . .

I've finished the event once. I still need to build my chaperone table and my sound system, but other than that, I'm done.

Well, I'm making slow progress on my third Conga Line. I have the new trap and base, and one of the birthday maps we finished gave me the Riverdance Skin, so even if I don't get any more El Flamencos this time around, I'm satisfied. The only other skin I'm really interested in having is the Dance Instruction one.

I've finally crested 13 million gold, so maybe I'll be somewhat prepared for Ronza when she arrives (they've actually spaced her arrivals out a fair bit lately, compared with her earliest visits). Once the event finishes up, I'll be back to grinding through the LG areas for my Shattering Charms and working towards my M400 goals. I'm not going to stress about the M400 yet, since the assignments are such long endeavors for me. I may try to focus on the LG aspects of each, though I do like getting the goodies for finishing an assignment. I have to catch 2 Gate Guardians, though, on my current assignment, and they've been absent in my forays to the FG/AR so far.

So I'm pretty much still at the birthday event for the sole purpose of getting a Silver Crown on both the Party Head and Buckethead. I have 98 of each and they're both avoiding my trap.
Once I crown those two, I'll be focusing more on the current M400 assignment I have. I really don't care about the skins.

A considerable longer journey than the Gauntlet, I suspect. Not really sure I care to fool with it, but it would give me a reason to visit other areas.

Going through 240 Tier 6 Cheese. Gold Crown on 15 of 34 KG Mice. Silver Crown 29 of 34 KG Mice. Over 1000 Phalanx, and few more close to that.

I suggest everyone in the higher levels spend extra Party Supplies on the Birthday Goodie Bags, as I've been getting Rotten Charms and/or Stale SB+ from them pretty consistently. I think I may have also got a few SB+ and King's Credits in a couple, but that's too far back for my journal entries.

That depends I suppose. I have every location unlocked with all of the top traps, and I got my M400 pretty quickly, including the time spent going after an Ultimate Charm. Now I'm finishing up my third cheese assignments and will go for a second M400 mouse after this. It takes me considerably less time than a Gauntlet run, that's for sure. But if you don't have all the locations unlocked and are missing the top traps, it's a different story. Personally, I compare it to treasure hunts.

Well, I admit that I ran out of steam on the birthday party and headed out. Obviously I'll be back once the new stuff is added in (assuming it's in the same location). Trying to catch 3 Lumberjack Mice to finish my assignment but I'm getting a lot of DHU as I FTC every time I attract one.

Speaking of new stuff, I wonder if the FB issues have stalled them from adding it in? I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen it yet as I know they hate doing updates before the weekend.

I've taken a page from Fantasia's book and switched to finishing my M400 Bait Assignment while we wait for the new content the devs promised. I've got 1 more Gate Guardian and Ravenous Zombie and then I can head to the LG areas to finish it off.

If you didn't see it, the top five players pulled a practical joke on the Scoreboard saying Ronza is coming in a few days. Well, it managed to get a reaction from the devs confirming that Ronza is NOT coming in a few days. So there you go, a definite bit of news regarding Ronza.

~They just flipped on a bonus luck weekend that will run through Tuesday. I'm sure in honor of St. Patrick's Day on Monday.
~The Terrible Twos Mouse is now dropping Chocolate Cake Bases.
~The biggest one though, Giorgio posted on the forums that he misspoke last FBF. The next update is/was NOT due out this week, but it will be out before the end of the birthday event. Birthday event ends March 25th.
~Jacob, despite a multitude of technical difficulties, is drawing a new mouse today that's underwater and scaley. He's pretty cool looking, but (at this point) doesn't fit in with the Rift theme we've seen the other mice have (all the purple swirling clounds), so that's leading to all sorts of speculation. Course, the purple swirlies can always be added later. We shall see...

Personal progress: Stuck on a Grubling Herder. But I've halfway through the assignment to catch the M400 mouse. Hopefully before the end of this weekend?

Well, I'm one Ethereal Enchanter away from finishing my second M400 Bait assignment. Once it's complete, I'll go after the M400 assignment proper. Then I'll likely be sucked into whatever content development the devs have up their sleeves.
