My friends, as you have found, I have defected to the goodietosho side. I have seen the light. Now, my only request is that many more will follow me to the Monastary. But Beware, I have not laid down my silly string and I will fight to defend thine Monastary.
If you ain't first, you're last.
See, this is why you don't hire mercenaries. They're always switching sides constantly.
Still can't stop laughing over the intro... I found that hilarious. Obviously.
May I be a last minute member? I shall make up for all the lost time I have wasted in passing over the Spoiled!

Booky, I think I just nearly died of laughter (hyperventilates)
Ok I hath regained me composure...
Congrats Joe on switching sides... I figured I'd pop me head in and say zat, as well as say hi to me muntant cousins, and ask if zere be anyone else whom had experienced more gremlin problems today. By the way icarus hath posted ze full version of ze article with ze odd Apted Quote in ze General Movie disscussion, just curious to hear thy thoughts on it.
returneths to ze middle way...

Liberty- Me too! Well, most of them.
The soul-eating spoiler is getting on my nerves. Hopefully, it won't actually be in the movie for some mysterious reason... perhaps involving one of Bookwyrms's mutants? Just kidding. Sort of.

Hey! I recently decided to become a mercenary. I will fight for whichever side pleaseth me. The LoESRM pleaseth me the most so I shall stay here!
I recently realized that VoDT is coming out on the 10th of December and I am leaving for college (in a city that actually has a theatre!!) on Januray 17th. So if VoDT is in theatres for just over a month, I'll get to see it in theatres!! *crosses fingers*.
By the way, narnianerd is a traitor! We must get revenge!!!
Also, welcome to NarniaWeb and the LoESRM, LessThanGold!
AAAHHHHOOOOORRRRROOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, narnianerd is a traitor! We must get revenge!!!
No!!! Zere shalt be no revenge! He made his choice, but 'tis his choice, not zat of anyone else. Correct me if I be wrong Dark Lord, but I doth believe zat ze rules state zat anyone is free to enter, or to renounce their membership in any of ze three realms... including Loesrm... if he is not attacking ye or spying 'gainst ye, what right doth ye minions have to take revenge?

An extremely frazzled and exhausted minion enters the Tower and collapses into a comfy chair. She nods off for a moment but quickly wakes up again when she hears the trailer playing on one of the big screen TVs. All right! Enough with the narration, Mr. Narrator! My apologies. I thought you were too worn out from your battles with homework to type an coherent message. *sigh* I'm fine, just needed a little breather after climbing up the mountain. If you say so. I most certainly do.
Anyway, yeah, as you can probably tell, homework is getting the better of me. Anyhow, what does everyone think of the new TV spots? I don't find them at all impressive, especially the "I shall be with you always" line. Star Wars anyone? But that could just because it's Liam Neeson's voice.
The soundtrack clips didn't sound very impressive either. I liked the music, but it didn't sound like an original soundtrack. Most of it was typical hero-or-villain-does-something-important-in-a-fantasy-movie music. Oh well. I did like Arnold's take on the main Narnia theme though.
Welcome to all of the new minions whom have joined our ranks! I am pleased to see more join our League.
I do not want to convert to the Middle Way, for that would not be true to my spoiler-filled self. But I do not want to attack the Monastery, for I am a peace-loving minion. What shall I do?
Ditto what the Dryad of the Rose Tree said. You can most certainly be a peace-loving minion and still be a member of the League. You and I (and others who are of like mind) shall not seek out war against the Monastery, but instead merely seek out all-that-is-spoilerish and partake of the 10,000 dish buffet when our minds grow weary from analyzing the spoilers that we have seen. I don't want to go war either, but I am indeed spoiled rotten and see no reason to repent of my ways.
Dryad: My apologies for not responding to your invitation sooner. I should very much like to come and visit you and your fellow Monks at the Monastery. I have no desire to live a spoiler-free life, but I see no reason to not exchange friendly visits. Perhaps I shall stop by later (and bring back a doggy bag for the Overlord).
Little Joe: Well, we shall of course miss our greatest warrior, and it would pain me greatly if war did come to our land and we had to fight on opposite side. But you have chosen your lifestyle as you see fit so I can make no arguments against your choice. But if you ever should wish to return and discuss all that is spoilerish, do return to the Tower of Enlightenment.
Has anyone read Apted's new interview yet? Based on the comments on the news story and in the GMD it looks like I'm one of the few who is still disappointed. For starters, he said that PC is "all battles and politics." Yes, there are battles and politics in it, but they are not the entire story. And he said that it is a dark book. PC a dark book? I still don't understand why people say that. And then he said that he wanted to give VDT an "emotional underbelly." I think Reepicheep's desire for Aslan's Country and Eustace's redemption would be enough. I should probably head over to that thread and expand upon my thoughts fully.
The minion, now looking less frazzled and exhausted, pushes herself out of the comfy chair and snags a few brownies from the buffet. Because you can never have too much chocolate. That was my line. Wups. Do you want to say it now? No, just narrate me out of here. The minion exits. That was a boring exit. I'm tired too you know. Whatev.
Joe is no traitor. He just is conflicted and disillusioned by VILLIAN TO BE!!! I really am glad the witch is in Ed's nightmare. It shows how much he's changed. I really like how we get ot see more of Lucy's struggles with body image.

Indeed, this is a far more welcoming place than the sign out yonder would lead a weary traveler to believe. I have in the past through no small folly of my own tried to preserve my mind from the looming happenings, only to find that my heart and soul were forever tormented and pricked by a great and noble desire to face my destiny which I had ever tried to ignore.
Now that I have shaken off the folly which only leads to temporary peace of mind and inevitable disappointment I have come to seek the indulgence of the great master of this place that he would allow this poor, weary far traveling stranger find rest, peace and enlightenment in this great castle.
As I regain my composure I now realize the need to beg that the grand master will forgive me for I besmeared this dark and evil place with such blasphemous names as welcoming and the like. My initial joy at finding a place that truly understood the deep and powerful yearnings of my tortured soul caused me to foolishly blurt out the first words that came to my wearied mind.
Alas, this must be a sign of my own depravity that the only places where my heart is truly at rest is where darkness and evil reign supreme.
I therefore crave the pardon of the powerful lord of this place and beg that he take me in even if only to use my soul for his own fiendish and diabolical pleasure, for I cannot survive the world of confusion and disappointment any longer.
How did I do?
@ aragorn2, I love it!
aragorn2, thy testimony speaketh to my very soul. I applaud your arrival!
Let us not knocketh the mercanaries, fellow minions, for I find that they are (with some notable exceptions) very skilled cooks, and I liketh to eat the food they provide. Joe, couldeth I trouble you to ask for something delicious, if you are indeed one of those noble culinarily-adept mercenary sorts?
The soundtrack clips didn't sound very impressive either. I liked the music, but it didn't sound like an original soundtrack.
What I dislike the most about the soundtrack is the fact that there are 30 tracks, and I believe David Arnold mentioned in an interview that there is a total of 72 min. worth of music (correct me if I'm mistaken). That means an average of two and a half minutes per track, give or take a little. To be honest, I much prefer soundtracks that have a dozen or so good, distinct, and long tracks, rather than lots of short tracks (some of which will almost inevitably sound similar and therefore be forgettable). But, I shan't judge it fully till I can listen to it fully.

*Sigh* Poor, poor Joe. Is there any way he can be disillusioned? If only we could find out where the villain-to-be keeps her enchanted chair...
I agree with Eusy on the first point. I'm glad Jadis is in it too. It dives deeper into Edmund's character. And he didn't get enough attention in PC.
Disagree on the second point though. (Sorry, Eusy ) It is normal for the typical girl Lucy's age to be concerned with looks... so it would be fine if Lucy was the typical girl her age... but I never considered Lucy to be the typical-teenage-girl type. Not because she's strong, or a good fighter, or a queen, or is good in battle, etc. But because she is so close to Aslan. If I ever came face-to-face with God, I don't think I'd ever worry about anything ever again, let alone outside appearances. She was kind of a symbol to me of what we , as Christians, should strive to be in our relationships with God. And having her be concerned with her looks like that kind of wrecked that for me...
I'm afraid the new director might be making Lucy... not as close to Aslan as she was in PC or LWW... That's the one thing that worries me most about this movie...
Oh, by the way, how does everyone feel about the new footage of Eustace and Reep swordfighting?
