Oh my dear little minions. Your cunning increases by the day. I shall get the maintenance gnomes to work right away on creating loudspeakers to blast the sounds of the trailer all across the valley. Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha! Now maybe they'll stop whinging on about my nanites eliminating their jobs. Last I heard they were talking about forming a union and insisting that I let them use the lava pit in the basement.

*Roller-skates into the one of the dark, dank halls of the tower, monkish robes flying in her wake*

In sooth, and UTTER sooth, I didst not break my vow, Minion who art called Silver-Tongued Speaker of Awesomeness! Nay, never didst a vow against the sight of trailers crosseth mine lips. [-x Now, trailers that art called "super" . . . that art another matter. :P

Dark Overlord, if thou desireth cacophony, thou need not spend time and expense and gnomish labor installing loudspeakers to the tower's battlements. If thou wilt but take a trip by the dark and dank chamber which houseth the 10,000 dish buffet, thy hankering for noise shalt surely be satisfied.

. . . By the Mane, hast I just muahaha'd? Verily, I shouldst flee this place. It's wicked and bwahahawful atmosphere seems to rubbeth off on me. :-o

*Roller-skates back down the high, dark, and twisted mountain, screaming because of the adrenaline rush/mortal terror* m/ :P

Ahhh, but thou also vowed to avoid anything and everything which could be given the label SPOILER. And a trailer -- super or not -- falls under such a treacherous category...

*points finger* You, monk, have broken your vow!!!!!! :-o

I rest my case.

I rest my case.

*Staggers into the dank hall once more, panting*

. . . I beeseech thee. . . to tell thy Overlord. . . *gasp* . . . to installeth. . . an elevator. . . *gasp* . . . in sooth. . . cannot believe I just walked up. . . that treacherous mount. . . yet again . . . . *Topples over*

*Composes self*

And I hath brought documents to defend mine claims! X(

*Waveth the scrolls under the nose of the Speaker of Awesomeness with a triumphant "Ha, ha!"

Here is mine vow—and I quoteth

But now that I may seek refuge within the sacred halls of this most blessed sanctum, I intendeth to shield mine eyes from any more major spoilers which shall be released, particularly in the form of extended clips, soundtrack music, and super trailer, and any other releases which I feel are detestable and would be wise to guard my mind from. :D

In sooth, I do not consider the recent trailer to be a "major spoiler" in mine eyes, and therefore a vision that I must turn away from, as I hast already viewed the previous trailers that hath been released. Verily, it 'tis a common misconception that members of the noble and sacred Order must take a vow against all and any spoilers that wreak havoc upon the land. Rather, each monk is encouraged to tailor thine vow to their specific needs and temptations. So I hath not broken mine vow at all. So there. :P

I hopeth we art all clear now, for hath mercy on me; I do not wish to walk up that dreadful mountain again any time soon. /:)

*Begins to put roller-skates back on, and then stops* You know, I think I shalt walk this time. :P

I DO! BAHAHAHAHA! If there is such controversy surrounding this matter -- if you claim your treacherous act is, indeed, un-treacherous (even though it is, in fact, the most treacherous deed I ever witnessed a monk commit) -- I suppose, there is only one thing to do...

HOLD A TRIAL!!!! MUAHAHAHA

I call to the witness stand the most high, the most knowledgable, the most terrible, the most reverant expert on what makes a spoiler a spoiler -- The Grand High Dark Overlord, Booky. Most honorable Booky, What say you? Has yonder monk committed treachery?

*A carrier pigeon appears on one of the tower's many yawning, fanged holes which the Rotten call windows, a note tied to its leg*

It readeth:

I do not think the Dark Overlord would be an impartial arbiter in this matter.

Ever a monk,
Dryad

*Gasp* !!!!!!! Dost thouest accuse our High Grand Dark Overlord of partiality!?!?!?!?! Thou must payest for such a deed, spoliered or un-spoilered.

O Grand High Dark Overlord, where is that cannon again? The high-tech one with the heat sensor, I mean... We must destroy all those who attempt to mar your revered name...

OOOOORRRRROOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hath thought that ze monestary did not require abstinence from all spoilers... so I am in ze dryad's defense, if my humble opinion is welcome here- seeing hows I am a pilgrim.

Secondly, EJ and Booky you both talk of different scenes, and different shadows, I hopeth you realize this

If the Monastary only avoids *some* spoilers, then there is no point in having the Middle Way. I hopest thou realizes this, Pilgrim Fire-Wolf. :P

Nay Silver-tounged speaker of Awesomeness, forth it is written. I quoteth ze Knight FencerforJesus:

Let not the Spoiled Rotten decieve thee. For though this place is a refuge for thee from the Spoiler, thou art not required to abstain from every type of Spoiler. If though seekth to abstain from one particular Spoiler or genre of Spoiler, then thou art welcome.

Hah zere is no denying what hath been written for all to see. Ze monestary does have a purpose for 'tis ze only place that remaineth free from spoilers, a place of refuge for those who choose it. Perhaps tis not ze path for me, but tis ze path for some.

I have even just witnessed a Pilgrim who questioned whether or not they should watch the trailer. And if it is at all even possibly wrong for a pilgrim to watch, surely it is treachery for a monk!!!!!! Muahaha!

The Rose-Tree Dryad cannot deny her allegiance to us for long....

Nay ze building itself, ze people may see them if they wish, unless they break there individual vow, which ze Dryad hath not. And the Pilgrim chooses of free will, no vow attached. One could argue too Silver- Tongued zat, Loesrm itself is unnecessary, forth there art more spoilers in ze middle way than here. Beware, your own argument could lead to your destruction...

The Noble Wolf speaks most eloquently of this matter, and better yet, of the truth! Verily, she understandeth the situation well. :D

Those who question the difference between the Spoiler-Free Order or the Pilgrims of the Middle Way, I say unto thee this: at the Middle Way, spoiler boxes art allowed. At the Monastery, they art forbidden. Therefore, it is a safe sanctum for those who wish to avoid some or all spoilers, especially if the temptation may cause their resolve to waver, or their mouse art prone to clicking before he or she who controls it can think of the grievous consequences. Plus, the Monastery hath a very nice cappuccino maker. :D

And verily, Silver-Tongued Speaker I can deny my allegience for long. Forever, if thou desires me to be specific. ;)

^^ LIARS! Bahaha! We are not lacking in spoilers. We see all and we know all. If this idea came to you merely because you do not see talk of spoilers in every single post, know it is because we also devote our time and lives to two other great causes as well -- 1. Thinking up ways to destroy you, (which is something very noble), and 2. Worshipping the most honorable Booky, whose glory is unending and irresistable.
