While I must admit that the picture of Eustace was good, I found the one of Lucy far more interesting. Getting quite a lot of talk on the home page.
The thing that stands out is Susan's horn in the backround.
Do they intend to use it in the movie, or were the writers simply not literate enought o not know that it was left with Trumpkin?

I wonder. Is there an automatic setting on this thing ?

^^ I had forgotten that Trumpkin held possession of Susan's horn during the duration of the Dawn Treader's voyage in the books. I don't think this is too serious though, IMO.....

What does everyone think of the new pic of Dragon Eustace with Reepicheep? I like it a lot more than I thought I would. He doesn't look as much like a grasshopper/cow/goat/whatever-else-we-said-he-looked-like.

I am personally rather fond of that delightful image of the Pevensies heading into the door in the wave. While a door in the air would have been lovely, even my magnificent brilliance will have a difficult time creating a non-cheesy way to show that.

I too have a hard time believing that your brilliance could not have shown the door in the sky opening in a non-cheesy way. However, even if you couldn't have, I don't see how a door in a wave is less cheesy.

On Susan's horn: I am annoyed by this change. It would have been fairly simple to explain that the horn was left with Trumpkin in case of an emergency. But no, it just had to come along for the Christmas Gift Exchange too.

If he is so much more mature why does he stick out his tongue at Uncle Harold? And what's with the "contention" between him and Caspian? Are he and Caspian going to have a power struggle? That's what it sounds like.

First off, I've seen many a respectable mature adults stick there tounges out at other people. Cause lets face it! Its fun! Its the most goofy insult out there, who ever came up with the idea wasa genius!

Secondly, the contention between Caspian and Edmund is already there. The filmmakers don't have to make it up this time cause it happens at least onces during the book!

The struggle happens at Gold/death/dragon island water when Caspain orders the whole group, under the pain of death, to remain silent about their discovery. Edmund reply's that Caspain cannot order him around since Edmund is in sence, second in command to the High King Peter whom Caspain is under alligance too.

Leave it to hollywood to blow that out of porportion.

I think you have it right about the contention betweem Edmund, and Caspian Narnianerd. Started that part of the book a little while ago. Most likely finish today, if I do not t rip, and fall into a ditch again. Reading and walking, a poor habit.

Anyway. I must be off. I think I finished tinkering with this box/death-trap thingy. I'll just leave it on the dark lord's desk.

I think the new trailer is terribly, spoilery, wonderful. And a scene of Dragon Eustace and Aslan together!?! How marvelous....

Aslan's shadow for one thing. Anyone notice how Aslan's shadow, when he goes up to Dragon Eustace, looks like a man's shadow? I wonder if that is a mistake, coincidence, or on purpose -- such as a reference to Aslan being Jesus? Very odd...

And I saw the older Pevensies!

You should also set up a loud-speaker, which will play the sound of the trailer out the lair's windows, so every monk in the monastary can hear it whether they want to or not.

I *ahem* have heard some monks say in secret that they have broken their vow and watched the new trailer. They are weakening...
