Yup, Glenstorm, visit http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/sport=fs/index.html for the figure skating videos. Then use those dropdown tabs to further specify what event you want to see videos from :)

I seriously didn't think Apollo was going to medal last night, but he did!! I was happy that he got a bronze after that.

Whew, watched ice dancing tonight. Meryl Davis and Charlie White were EASILY my favorites tonight though I didn't care much for them after their Compulsory Dance two nights ago. Should be interesting to see the final ice dancing skate tomorrow night. :D :D

*says nothing about a certain hockey game that was played tonight though.* :-$

I cannot wait for the final dance on ice! Oh, the tangoes performed for elimination really melted the ice and made it burn, I cannot wait to see what the remaining pairs have in store for us! Too bad for me the show starts at 00:40 and I have a test tomorrow... *groans and complains about time zones... who ever thought of such a silly thing?*

I've seen the movie 9 times!!! (PC)

My sister and I watched some of the ice dancing- the first night it was on- but we felt really uncomfortable with some of costumes and outfits as well, modesty wise, so we decided not to watch anymore. I'm confident we made the right choice.

For the most part I enjoyed the Canada-America hockey game last evening, and I console myself with the fact we out shot them (or you guys... ;)) ) by about twenty shots, and it wasn't as if we were playing badly or horribly flopped, but the Americans were playing really well and capitalized on our mistakes. :) (And I do hope that what I said above is gracious enough...) I'm hopeful though that the extra games for Canada- if we can win them- will help us iron out our problems and solve some and really come together as a team. :) And if we don't win the gold, hey, it's not the end of the world, right? :) There will always be more games, and hopefully more Olympics.

I agree, many of the ice dancing costumes are VERY bizarre, especially the Russian's "Aboriginal" one... (their music was awful too, it sounded like some caveman created it).

On iTunes you can get some of the NBC Olympics stuff, so I just downloaded the Men's figure skating free skate and short program. Each were over an hour and a half, and they only cost 99 cents each!

*Also adds herself to the list of unbelivably happy people over Evan Lysacek's gold* :D :D

I was so nervous while he was skating; I could barely watch. I was so relieved when he got all those jumps safely out of the way. ;)) When Plushenko had finally skated, and the final results were being posted, I could barely stand the suspense. And when we found out that Lysacek had won, I came very near to hooting and hollering for joy. ;)

Haha, I was watching the with my mom and sister, and the moment Evan got onto the ice I had my fingers crossed SO hard!! Every time he would set up for a jump, I could barely watch the program. My mom was holding her breath, and my sister was almost squealing from nervousness until he landed the jump cleanly! :p We did this throughout the whole program too, mind you. ;)

After Plushenko skated the whole house went quiet. I almost exploded from the suspense! When we found Evan won, the whole house went nuts! Screaming, hollering, laughing, we did everything! I couldn't be happier. Evan deserved the gold. He did great! :D

I've actually learned a few things by watching this. Scott Hamilton has been a really fun and helpful commentator. He always sounds like he's trying to land the jumps for them. :)) I totally loved watching him skate when I was little.

Ditto with what you said above. ^^ Everytime someone, whether it was pairs or the mens singles, went up into a jump, you could tell that Scott was mentally going through the jumps himself with them, and wanting to land them cleanly just as much!!! You could hear it SO much in his voice! He's awesome. Couldn't have had a better commentator for this. :D :D He's very supportive of the skaters and truthful IMO. :-bd

Can't wait for the Ladies SP's starting tomorrow night! :)

I also found Scott Hamilton's comments very helpful.

I don't know a lot about ice dancing, but it was fun watching Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir win gold. They looked so excited up there on the medals podium as "O Canada" was played.

And I found a nice story about Aussie snowboarder Torah Bright (even if it's a few days old). She was her country's flag bearer during the opening ceremonies, and the NBC commentators noted then that her parents had declined coming to Vancouver, choosing to attend her US wedding later this year instead. But it turned out that her parents had secretly planned to visit the Olympics all along, and were there to share in her gold medal experience.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

:-bd **== :-bd YAY!! I was soo happy that he won gold! He deserved so much more then Plushenko! (That guy had SUCH a bad attitude!) :-?

I agree with you about Scott Hamilton! :) I can't wait for Ladies SP either! though, I might not be able to see it 'live'..... :(

I really enjoyed watching the Original Dance! though I agree with ForeverFan on some of them not being very modest. :|
I really liked White/Davis's routine to the Indian music, and there costume went with it so well. :) They are my fav. US ice dance team so far, though the Canadian team is SOO good too! I liked their OD and FS!

Do any of you know who won the silver and bronze in the Ice Dance? And how many of the "top" teams did? :) I've only heard that Canada won, which I was kind of excited about. ;) (Okay, a lot more than kind of... ;)) )

Stargazer: That's a very sweet story about the snowboarder and her family! :) Thank you for sharing! I always enjoy reading stories about athletes' families and how they take their child's medal/win/loss/etc.... I believe it helps me see these athletes much more as human beings just like you and I. On the other hand, I feel so sad for Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette who, as I'm sure you all know, just lost her Mother... :( That would be so hard! I hope that she does well, even wins a medal, for her Mom...

^^I'm pretty sure that USA got silver, but I'm not sure besides that :) . I agree about that story, so nice :) . I'm pretty sure a girl from NH got to go to the Olympics b/c her town raised enough money for her to compete.

America's Davis and White won silver. Russia's Domnina and Shabalin won silver. America's Belbin and Agosto got 4th.

I thought that Belbin and Agosto should've beat the Russians, though. That whole rope thing was ridiculous!

I was so EXCITED that Korea won gold in the 10,000m men's speed skating, but I am sorry that the Dutch lost it as a result of the skater ending up in the wrong lane. Poor guy. The headlines are going to be pretty awful!

And I'm SUPER EXCITED about the ladies' figure skating tonight! I'm really hoping that Kim Yu-na will get Korea's first gold in figure skating! :D And I do hope the Canadian girl does well. I feel so sorry for her since her mother died this past week.

I can't wait for more figure skating and short track!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
