Liberty, it seems rather easy to gross you out. I don't think they look appetising but nor do they make me lose my lunch. The idea is creative but rather stupid.

When you were all talking about 'silly bandz', I was confused because I thought you were talking about music bands, not bracelets (and that you were just misspelling it to be hip and cool or something.)

Anyone hear of "Bear Bells"?

In Scouting there is a little story we tell some newer scouts, or those unfamilier with the outdoors. It goes a little like this.

Due to bear attacks in the area we recommend that those hiking wear bear bells. These are little bells that clip on you clothing, so bears are not caught unawares by you in the woods. Should the bear be aggressive we suggest you carry pepper spray to fend it off.
Now it is important to be able to identify the kind of bears in the area. You do so by examining the scat(droppings). Black bear scat contains the leftover berries and such that they commonly eat. Grizzley bear scat can be identified easily because it contains little bells, and smells of pepper spray.

And yes, I have found "bear bells" in a camping section of a local Wal-Mart.

Ha ha! Maybe it does. There were Twilight products all over the place. Grrr. But they are fun to laugh at.
Another time I saw this Donald Duck cookie jar at a flea market. He was kind of laying on his wings with his behind in the air, and you lifted it off as the lid. I thought that was a little odd.

I don't see what is wrong with socks with crosses on them. We got my dad some as a gift because it is hard to find men's Christmas socks. We like to put socks in our stockings.

There's no need to Christianise everything. Seriously, it's making a mockery of God to sell things in his name. It cheapens his name. It's not like the Bible or fiction or anything. There's no need for Christian socks, lollies etc. God warned us to respect him. I fear that some Christians misunderstand the commandment - do not use the Lord's name in vain.

My friend got an Edward cut out. I thought it was weird and creepy. We were at her house for a sleepover and it kept like staring at us in the dark. We watched a scary movie and when we looked behind us we all jumped in out seats until we realized that it was a cut out.

W4J: I agree. But Libby, I think you're taking it too far. I don't see anything cheap or wrong with someone having a shirt with a scripture verse on it or a necklace with a cross or Christian fish on it.

Ah, the T-shirts arn't that bad... But as I was walking through a clothing store the other day and in the mens department I saw a Winnie the Poo tie... A Winnie the Poo tie... Its was for men... OK... Then I saw a Prince Caspian pillow... Creepy.
