So, I've already made some icons/avatars from the new season. Does anyone know the policy regarding such graphics?I don't know if they're too spoilery to be on NWeb.
Thanks for your thoughtful inquiry, Juliana. NarniaWeb doesn't have an official policy on spoilers for other shows, such as LOST. However, a number of fans here on the site haven't had a chance to see any of season 6 yet, either because they're catching up on season 5, or because season 6 hasn't aired yet in their locations. So it would be great if you could postpone using any season 6 graphics for a couple weeks or so. Thanks!
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
My sister was doing some reading around the web and there was this one theory that
A few other things are that
1. In the Damon and Carlton interview on Jimmy Kimmel they said that something is possessing Sayid or something like that. I don’t think it is Jacob because it sounded like they sort of ruled that out.
2. The pool was dark instead of clear
3. Miles was staring at Sayid and when Hurley asked him what was wrong he sort of looked confused and said "nothing". I think that maybe he couldn’t hear him after he died like he can with everyone else who had died in the past.
He may just be an other now, since he did the same thing Ben did after he got shot.
Oh, and something else my sister read was that in this picture below, Sayid is in Judas spot. I’m not sure if this has any significance, but I found it interesting.
Lost's recreation of the Last Supper painting

It's true,
I find that picture of "The Lost Supper" (available in a bigger size, with comments, here) fascinating yet puzzling. Apparently more TV shows are adapting da Vinci’s original painting to their characters. Theological implications and concerns aside (Locke/Flocke doesn’t strike me as much of a Christ figure), even in-universe this placement strikes me as odd. The 'real' Locke is dead and Flocke (aka MIB and the Smoke Monster) doesn’t seem like much of a good guy to date. Jack (doubting Thomas) seems well-placed, as the 'man of science' from early episodes who doubted Locke's 'faith' in destiny etc. Sayid is indeed in the Judas spot. But perhaps that position reflects an earlier betrayal: he shot young Ben, setting his course for who he became as an adult and thus indirectly leading to Ben’s betrayal and killing Jacob...but then why isn't Ben in the Judas spot?
By the way, there were 2 versions of “The Lost Supper” and fans are busy dissecting the significance, if any, of the placement of the characters (Claire, Hurley and Miles switch seats). The second version is here.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
So, my brother just had a great theory about Lost. He's been watching the first season for the first time, and thought that
Gazer, I too thought that
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." Marilyn Monroe
VL, that is an interesting theory. In fact I could see that being the case fairly easily.
Folks, sometimes I wonder if we're looking at this whole thing too intently...sometimes the easiest explanation is the right one. I used to tease my friends who were X-Files fans (which has almost as convoluted a plot as Lost does ) and now I worry I might be becoming one of them.

Ok this may be a major SPOILER even for those watching season six right now so WARNING: May be a SPOILER for you.
Two things I found interesting. 1. This is the weird one. We see Locke or Flocke (I think) running through the jungle and if you watch carefully he slowly turns into a young boy (I think) Here is a screencap of the boy:
Also there was a casting call for two boys here: http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2010/0 ... -call.html
I think that the casting call matches the boy we see in the promo
2. The other thing is there have been reports about Claire being totally different then before, many have compared her to Danielle Rousseau.
Anyway here's the screencap of what I think is a Aarons cradle and a skull and stuff put together to make a sort of doll.
I think Claire misses Aaron and makes a fake doll out of stuff around the island to put in the cradle. Just a thought though.

Tonight's Super Bowl offered a little something for LOST fans, no matter which team you were rooting for. The Bud Light asteroid commercial (watch it on Hulu here) includes Francois Chau (Dr. Chang/Halliwax, etc) as the astronomer spotting the incoming missile.
(There was another Bud Light ad with airplane wreckage and survivors on a beach that reminded me of the show immediately, but wasn't necessarily a direct reference).
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
The Bud Light commercials were definitely targeted at LOST fans. I got that straight off. Apparently the LOSTies would rather drink Bud Light than leave the island...Which isn't that wierd since half of them didn't want to leave anyway, and the rest of them came back.
Interesting stuff 7chronicles. I'm starting to get so confused that I'm tempted to take the tactic of "Let's just wait and watch and see."
So, my thoughts on tonight's Lost.
Also, Warrior, I take it you've seen the premiere? What did you think?
(spoilers for episode 3, season 6)
Also
Interesting "Trojan Horse Theory" (season six spoilers)
http://lost-forum.com/showthread.php?t=84198 (Not 100% sure if this will show up if you're not a member of the site. It's really easy to join, if you're interested. It's the best Lost site around. I never post there, just read stuff.
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." Marilyn Monroe
No, sorry. I haven't seen the premiere yet. It screens in just over 7 hours time. I'm a bit bummed though. I don't think there will be anything new to discuss (and I love sharing my thoughts and sometimes, theories).
I've never heard of the Trojan Horse Theory website. Is it really better than LostPedia, DarkUFO and the like?
Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11
Warrior, I've never read DarkUFO, and I haven't been too much on LostPedia (although I use it to look things up I don't remember), so I guess saying lost-forum.com is the best Lost site is pretty biased.

No worries mate. How many episodes have screened in the US now? The two-hour premiere and a single episode (3 in total?)
Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11
That's correct, Warrior. I look forward to reading your thoughts and theories about "LA X."
I tend to be partial to Lostpedia meself.
A few thoughts on tonight's episode, "What Kate Does."
I liked that Kate took Claire to the adoptive parents' home and then to the hospital. It was creepy seeing Ethan as her doctor, another echo of Claire's abduction by the Others early in the series.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Yes We’ve had three total Warrior 4 Jesus This episode was necessary, but slow. I still loved it of course though! I get the sense that each episode will keep building up to a point were they won't hold anything back.
But with Lost who knows.
I think next week will be interesting and a little nail biting from what the promo showed.
