Flocke?
Thought this might interest some of you peeps:
I've just finished four books in a series called Finding Lost by Nikki Stafford. They're unofficial companion books for the series. This time 'unofficial' isn't synonymous with 'badly written, gossipy trash'. The guides chronicle the first five seasons and a fifth book is planned for Season 6. These books are a lot of fun but dense, they're not for the casual viewer.
Each episode is given a brief synopsis and analysed in great detail.
These are the subheadings for each episode:
Highlight (of the episode)
Did You Notice?
Interesting Facts
Nitpicks (possible problems/annoyances)
Ooops (mistakes)
4 8 15 16 23 42 (where the numbers appear)
It's Just A Flesh Wound (tallies of physical injuries sustained by characters)
Lost In Translation (basic transcript translations of foreign language scenes)
Any Questions? (after the episode)
Ashes To Ashes (who died in the episode)
Music/Bands (featured in the episode - real and fictitious)
Season Three episodes also have this subheading:
Nikki and Paulo - Why? (self-explanatory)
Season Four episodes also have these two subheadings:
Timeline (where the episode takes place in the timeline of the show)
Find815 (clues from the alternate reality game)
In addition to all this, there are summaries and analysis done of the books featured in the series. Also, information on J.J Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and actor and actress biographies, as well as closer looks at the philosophers that some characters have been named after. There is a look at the additional web content provided for fans during hiatuses, how the Writers' Strike affected the series for better or worse, a list of Sawyer's nicknames for characters, transcripts for the jungle whispers and so much more.

@Valient_Lucy:
And there is an event that is supposed to be a very intense and emotional scene.
Let me know if you want to know some of the characters who die and what the event is. I just wanted to give you a heads up before I told you the exact details.

I PMed you for further details, 7chronicles.
I'm watching last night's Lost and posting my thoughts as they come:
LOL! Sawyer & Hurley are so awesome:
S: Sayid'd ain't invited. He's gone over to the dark side.
H: Yeah, but you can always bring people back from the dark side...I mean Anakin.
S: That was Anakin! ...look, just keep your mouth shut, don't say nothing to noone, okay?
*sigh* I just love Sawyer, I really do. I would happily watch a million hours of a super cheesy and cliche cop show if Sawyer was in it.
However,
More Hurley Awesome-ness
Hurley: Just people trying to kill us again.

Watching The Last Recruit:
I wonder if Kate really is innocent in this verse? So many other things have been different, why not that?
And the cops are after Sayid now. The writers really have it in for him.
Zoe is either really brave or suicidally stupid. Missile attack was quite the surprise. Widmore's not playing around this time.
Alterna-Desmond freaks me out a little. Halfway expecting him to try to kill Claire.
Ilana!?!
Love this exchange: Claire: Hey, what's going on? Hurley: People trying to kill us again.
Sawyer arresting Sayid. Karma in action.
I LOL'ed when I saw how shallow the well UnLocke threw Desmond into was.
Claire laying on the guilt trip is annoying. She's the one who wandered off. It's her own fault she got stranded on the Island by herself. I think Claire, like Sayid, is probably a lost (heehee) cause. She's gone dark side in a big way.
I don't think Sayid killed Desmond. If he had, they'd have shown it.
Wow, Claire didn't go psycho on them.
Sawyer is being a jerk. It's kinda sorta understandable, but he's starting to get annoying with the attitude.
AAWWWWWW!! Sun and Jin are so cute together in both universes. So glad they've finally been reunited. And surprise, surprise, in true Lost fashion, Widmore double-crosses them in the middle of that sweet and adorable moment.
More thoughts to go with my post above Booky's

Jack:
Booky--if Jack stopped being annoying, the world would end. Hmm, maybe THAT'S how the show will finish! That would explain everything

Episode 6.12 - Everybody Loves Hugo
I thought this episode was good but not great, which is surprising since Hurley is one of my favourite characters, if not my favourite. There were some interesting scenes and revelations but the episode still managed to seem really slowly-paced. The answers to the whispers were good but delivered in a somewhat lazy manner (eg. Hey, I know what the whispers are! Let me go and show the viewer). Blah. It wasn't terrible but it was probably the weakest episode this season, even slightly below What Kate Does. I can't believe I just said that. I could tell something seemed off when everyone on the Island, in Ilana's party, looked fresh and shampooed - this is the first time that's happened. But maybe I'm being unfair, it did have a lot of good stuff - Realistically, the episode had a hard act to follow after Desmond's awesome centric episode. I will say this though:
I'm going to have to re-watch the episode. Then I'll have a more balanced view before writing my recap/thoughts and theories.

Val, just because I just saw the episode and FYI and because I'm a stickler for correcting quotes, the quote went like this:
Sawyer: "Who's Anakin?"
I found that hilarious because Sawyer's usually the one with the book/movie references. Miles would've gotten it! I wonder where he and Richard and . . . who else went with them? Anyway, I wonder where they are.
Hurley is just awesome, period.
P.S."Brooklyn!"
Oh, whoops Ryan. You're right about that quote. And I agree, it's weird because you'd think Sawyer know what that means. I haven't really seen Star Wars or know anything about it and I know who Anakin is.

Losty Losty Lost . . . *does Lost dance*
I watched 'The Last Recruit' a few days ago, I can't really remember what happened, but I do remember enjoying the episode. I reckon that's generally better than remembering it because it was rubbish!
On Island. The Jin/Sun reunion was a bit flat, although I couldn't say what else I had expected. 'Looks like someone has got their voice back'. Quote of the decade. Lapidus - you are sooooo cheesy. Jack got a tad exploded. It's all kicking off.
We now have to wait two weeks!!
I guess that's one good thing about being an Aussie. Next week we have episode 6.13 - The Last Recruit and then the following week we have episode 6.14 - The Candidate. No break! If all goes well that means for episodes 15 and 16, we'll be only one day behind the US, instead of 8 days, and 3 days behind for the series double-episode finale. Yay!

I’m so happy for you Warrior 4 Jesus! That’s awesome, now you can discuss the same episode that we are watching! That makes the extra week we have to wait, well worth it!
Ok, I might be watching to much LOST , the other day me and my sister were playing our LWW PS2 game. Well, right when the level “TO WESTERN WOOD” started I was waiting for my sister to come and play, while I was waiting I was just listening to the music, all of a sudden I heard Richard’s theme music from the Richard episode! You know during the part where you see him riding the horse near the beginning.
You have to let the music play for a while before you hear the part that sounds like Richard’s theme but I thought it was so weird and cool!

Thanks to the wonders of the Internet I've caught up on the recent episodes. Here are some random thoughts on 6.12 Everybody Loves Hugo and 6.13 The Last Recruit, along with some observations on the preceding posts:
I agree that in general the
And as a rule the flash-sideways reality hasn't intrigued me all that much - except in how they continue to mix familiar characters in new and sometimes unexpected ways. An exception to this has been the Desmond story arc - and also Hugo finally getting his beach date with Libby. That was nice to see. And he becomes another person to perceive the island reality after touching her. More and more characters are going this route (Sun seems to be another one, as she recognizes Locke), and I'm curious as to how it'll all play out.
