It also reminded me of the good old days when I liked Jack and Locke)

Jack I still like, but not half as much as in the beginning. Locke, well the guy always confused me but I did like him in the beginning but not so much now.
Kate and Sawyer are two others I still like but not as much as at first. My only constant favorites have been: Claire, Charlie, and Hugo. It'd be more but they got killed off too early on.

btw, How long did it take you exactly to watch all the episodes? like how many weeks if you can remember? :- :)

On Mar 16 I started to watch, thanks to Netflix I have the date. So basically in less than a month I caught up. I finished yesterday up to Ep 3 of Sn 6, today I do the rest.

Sure Season 5 used time-travel but it was done in a very clever manner. Season 1 is very good but people shouldn't put it on a pedestal. It was very slowly paced and had Shannon. :p

The time travel was definitely used in a clever manner, it's why I'm still watching the show. But this, like LOTR, for some reason I like it all alot- but it's the beginnings that fascinate me the most. In both cases I simply LOVE the slow pace it takes as it introduces us to all the characters and plot lines. and I like Shannon :)

But believe me, I wouldn't have been able to watch this show as fast as I did if I didn't really like all the season. In netflix, the first has 5/5 stars, all others have 4/5 which is still great.

Yes, that's true. Season 1 sets up the main characters, so we can grow to love and hate them. But you have to admit, they really dragged out the opening of the hatch! ;)
What do you think of Season 6 so far? The pilot is pretty crazy and the following Kate episode is a bit dull but it's very good (just markedly different to the previous seasons).

I loved that it kept the hatch close so long, it was slow but kept me on edge the whole time. I loved the suspense of what might have been inside :p

I've enjoyed the three episodes so far. My favorite one? The Kate episode. I loved seeing her with Claire and the irony ;))

I enjoyed it so much, maybe not so much cause of Kate, but because of Claire. Like I said, I love Claire! :D

Okay. That's interesting. I don't hate Kate like others do but she's definitely no favourite of mine. I too really enjoyed the Claire aspects of the

sideways reality
(even if the concept of climbing back into the car of your car-high-jacker is completely ridiculous). :p
You're doing well. If you manage to get to episode 11 within a few days, please use spoilers when discussing it, we haven't had that episode in Australia just yet. Thanks mate.

100% caught up!!
yeah getting inside the var with the hi-jacker is ridiculous for sure, but it's exciting at the same time= for the show's sake.

11- was a wonderful episode!! I can't believe I have to wait two days to watch it,
I'm used to being able to go on to the next right away. Season 6 is the only other to get 5/5 stars from me in Netflix.

I know what you mean narnian1, It drove me crazy when I watched Season Five because I wasn't used to waiting a whole week for a new episode and then there were all the commercials in-between the episode! A week felt like forever especially if they left you on a cliff hanger! :-o
I'm so glad your caught up narnian1! :) Now you can join in the current episodes discussion! :D :p

I've been watching since it first came to Australian TV (early 2005), so I'm used to waiting weekly and longer (but I understand what you mean - LOST is very much designed to be watched on DVD). That said, you should try waiting for LOST in the 8 month hiatuses! Those were torture. :p

Oh, and episode 12 is a Hurley episode. Yay! I've heard rumours we'll see

Spoiler
Libby
again.

So I had a theory today. I'm sure someone already came up with this, but I like it because I thought it on my own. :) I was watching season 4 today with my friend and was wondering all over again why the members of the Ajira flight ended up in two different time periods. The people who went back to the 70s were Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid. My theory is that the people who went back were the candidates. They joined Sawyer and Jin there. Sun didn't go to the 70s because Jin is the Kwon candidate, not Sun. Miles, Juliet were there too, but they were already there. Thoughts?

That's certainly possible and makes a lot of sense. It's a better understanding than the writers just wanting to create more tension for Jin and Sun by having them in the two different time periods.

If that's the case, I really hope Jin isn't the one who gets the job. I'd hate for Sun and Jin to end up separated after all they've been through. They need a happy ending.

Okay I'm not looking at any spoilers because I'm still watching season 5. Yep I only have four more episodes to go until I'm in season 6. My mom had been taping the episodes for the final season so I'll be catching up. Just a quick question.
I stopped at the episode when Lock and Ben were going under the temple and Ben fell down when lock was going to find something to bring him out. After that entire time the smoke monster decides to show up and once it was gone Lock shows up.

Is it proven that John Lock is the Smoke Monster? because I cant continue the season until next week since my aunt has it.

It just came to me to ask that since he knew where it was to begin with and how it actually shows up to Ben once John leaves and comes back when it's gone.

More information about the identity of the Smoke Monster will come early in season 6.

I agree, Warrior, that I hope the upcoming

Spoiler
Hurley episode will include at least a cameo from Libby, along with a glimpse of what she might be up to in the sideways reality.

I know what you mean! I started watching a while back when Sci-Fi began airing them, 4 each Monday night, in order from the pilot on. So I caught up on the first 3 seasons pretty quickly. It's only been the last couple seasons I've had to watch it in the usual, one episode per week fashion. The long hiatus periods were hard to wait through but I had the DVDs to review back then.

I also hope Jin and Sun get their "happily ever after" - together

Spoiler
, and with Ji Yeon.

Alas, it looks like I'm going to miss the regular airtime of the next 2 episodes and will have to catch up online later. (I'll abstain from the spoilers here as well. ;) )

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Tonight's new LOST episode:
well, I found it to be an easy going episode, not too much action in it.
However it was very interesting to see . Why them?

YES!!!
