Please note that this Special Feature will be closing this Friday, April 16. For further discussion on screen adaptations of Bible stories, feel free to bring up the topic in the relevant Movies thread.
And before this closes, I wanted to respond one more time.
I remember seeing some of The Gospel of John a few years ago and was so impressed with it. We keep on meaning to rent it again (although I'd love to own a copy). It reminded me of BBC Narnia—one could almost follow word-for-word from the text.
Yes, ww, TGoJ is more family-oriented ... a good thing. I agree both versions are needed to bring a balance, 'though there is no way young children or even tweens should be seeing The Passion. We did use TPotC (oh my, those are the same initials as Pirates ) to bring a number of interested non and young Christians to various screenings, with some engaging after-discussion.

Thanks for the contributions, NarniaWebbers!
I haven't watched any version of Esther yet. But thanks for letting me know what you think about One Night with the King, The Passion, The Gospel of John, and The Nativity. I want to see the last one the most.
imo ... imho ...
