eyeliner has been around for a very long time ILoveFauns. Eyeliner used to be made from poison lead. I wouldn't of wanted to live in the 1700's anyways or 1800's.

I only like the first movie and bits from the third. I feel as though Elizabeth's and Will's adventure should have stopped in the first movie. I am excited for the fourth film though!

To be fair, the Ancient Egyptians used eye-liner, so yes, it's been around awhile.

I really enjoy the first movie, but don't really care for the 2nd and 3rd at all. I do like Keith Richards' cameo in AWE though.

However, I am looking forward to the 4th film, as it seems like it will be on a smaller scale, much like the first film. I'm also glad Will and Elizabeth won't be returning, and can't wait to see Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane (as Blackbeard) in the film.

Which movie is your favorite? The first, which is also the best. I would ramble on about how the two sequels are very contrived and how the only good things about them are the CGI and scores, but I'll simply say "Ditto" to what Shadow has said. Yet another film that we share the same opinion.

Are you excited for the fourth movie? Not really. I feel they should have stopped with the first one and left it as a stand alone film.

I try not to watch them too often because right after I do I really want to go on the ride.

I think the reason why a lot of you don't like the further movies is because Will and Elizabeth's story should have ended in the first movie. These movies should indeed follow Jack Sparrow and he should meet someone new in each one to start a new journey with that person.

I have high hopes for the fourth pirates movie because it involves him meeting some new people and a new journey will begin.

^Ditto. I was really upest when I found out that Elizabeth and Will were in the second and third movies. They didn't need to be in them. It felt like they were dragging out their story too much.

You know what I found to be the most hysterical thing I saw on one of the boards on IMDB is someone posting that Orlando should continue the story and that Johnny shouldn't because Orlando is a better actor

Do you own any merch related to it? Just the first soundtrack; I should probably get the third as well, because it seems to be everyone else's favorite, and I enjoyed the one listen I had of it.

Which movie is your favorite? This isn't even a question for me. I love, love, love the first film; it's an excellent popcorn movie with great performances from Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush (and even Bloom and Knightley turn in some of their better performances), and I've watched it numerous times. The two sequels I saw only once each when they came out in theaters, and they struck me being convoluted, poorly-plotted cash cows. It made me really sad.

Are you excited for the fourth movie? Not really. It would be lovely if they came out with a good installment again, but I'm not expecting them to, really.

Have you read any books based off the series? No. Movie novelizations don't appeal to me.

Wow. Orlando Bloom was good in Lord of the Rings but he is definitely not the better actor.
