I thought it was amusing how many of his songs had to do with food in some way.

Haha, it is very true. Food, animals, and the ocean for the most part. I think it really portrays the innocence and originality of his music. It's so different from everything else I've heard.
By the way, Peppermint Winter has been stuck in my head ALL DAY. I guess it's just that time of the year.

I finally got my Owl City Christmas presents in the mail today! I got the lyrics bumper stickers, 2 t-shirts, and the 2012 calendar. The cool thing about the calendar is that it has all pictures taken by Adam Young, since he is so interested in photography.

Ooh, Lilygloves, that's awesome! I'd love to get a calendar; his photography is awesome. What t-shirts did you get?

Ocean Eyes seemed to have a theme of water and the ocean, where as AtBaB ended up being about space and the sky, I noticed. I'm really curious as to what this new album will be about and how it will differ from the last ones.

That's what I just thought too. I bet whatever the theme is that it will be something really great! My dad and I, this morning, were discussing the meaning behind many of the songs from AtBaB and we came to a conclusion that the theme is prob. heaven and space and stuff like that.

Has anyone read his blog post about introverts? I really liked it. Of course, I also liked the post on "How to Get Abducted by Aliens," but for an entirely different reason. He could make posts about the most random things, whether it was shoveling snow or working in the Hy-Vee grocery store, and they were all interesting.

I think it's been like that for everyone, for some reason the latest posts haven't been updating onto the main page. But if you go into the archive for 2012, the latest posts should appear there as they are posted.

I'm just going to echo everyone else and say that I am SO very excited for the new record. I can't wait to have a whole album of new music from him.

Ooh, thanks for the link, LucyP. I felt like a bad fan because I hadn't heard of it before, but seeing as I didn't make it to a concert, I can see why. He was in my area last year and I wish I would've gone, but for some reason I didn't. I'm hoping he does another America tour soon, and I'm avidly checking his site for tour dates. The only ones I found were in Alaska and Thailand. Anyway, I Hope You Think of Me is beautiful and I also hope he releases it soon.

He records so many beautiful single songs that are rather random but always so wonderful. I wish there was a way to get In Christ Alone, but last I checked, it wasn't on Amazon MP3.
