^Yeah, that was definitely my favourite scene. I liked Grover and Chiron in that scene, too - it was probably the one part of the movie where Grover was a little bit like what he is in the book.
Did anyone else think that the ending of The Last Olympian was a teensy wee bit of a cop-out? I thought it was an excellent book, but it wasn't as watertight a finale as it could have been.
^in what way didn't you like it? I loved it. The only critique I would have is that maybe a little too much is battle and talk of battle.
Ditto to your post Ryan.
I think it was all the stuff with Rachel that I didn't like. She's not my favourite character, well, I liked her at first but by the end I was like "Huh?"
I actually really enjoyed the battle. I reckon there could have been more written about the aftermath, however.
I dont' know how I feel about Rachel- somtimes I love her and sometimes she's annoying . So you didn't like
I liked the battle too but somehow parts of it didn't feel battle-ish to me or something. Too much strategy talking to something. Idk. I have to reread it .
I really liked Rachel up until
No way! I love the bit you have hidden away in your second spoiler. It's fantastic.
Does anyone think that Rick Riordan might return to Percy Jackson, or at least the world of Percy, one day?
Yeah I kinda wish she stayed normal, besides being able to see through the mist.
Lol me too
Yes- at the end of The Last Olympian he calls PJO the first Camp Half-Blood series. Maybe after he's done with the Kane Chronicles he'll write another series about the
Yeah, Rick Riordan is planning on writing some more books about Camp Half-Blood, though not about Percy and them. New people.
P.S."Brooklyn!"
I've finally read all five books and I've also seen the film. The film I wasn't expecting much out of because of what I'd heard. I actually ended up liking it okay, though, since I knew it would be so different.
I rather liked the books---I really enjoyed how Riordan wove in the myths.
I think the second was my favourite because of all the tie-ins with The Odyssey, but I did like the other books.
About Rachel:
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Yeah, Rick Riordan is planning on writing some more books about Camp Half-Blood, though not about Percy and them. New people.
Yay! I'll miss Percy and the rest but at least we'll be getting more .
Valia: yeah
not to seem like a dark annoying rain cloud, and not having read the books.

^the book(s) isn't that bad. The fight doesn't happen and they're relationship is much more developed. Trust me, most fans of the books dislike the movie alot. It cheapens the story and characters.
^^ though Percy does do a lot of stupid/impulsive/idiotic things in the books. They sometimes work, and sometimes they have disastrous consequences.
And yes, the books are nothing like that. Percy and Annabeth don't even
All fans of the books that I've come across haven't liked the movie at all. At least not as an adaptation. It totally cheapened the characters and story.
P.S."Brooklyn!"

but I like that about him. The only thing I don't love about his character is that he is sometimes too dense. Like how could he not realize that Zoe meant
Found this on wikipedia
"The Heroes of Olympus-
The Lost Hero – October 12, 2010[11]
Note: This book series is the sequel to Percy Jackson & the Olympians."
Hope this is true!
Okay so I found an audio book on youtube, and I've been listening to it and the movie really butchered the book. The book is actually pretty descent.
That said

I'm glad you think the book is better . Yeah that part with the arch is a little exagerated, but still cool, especially with the naiad or whatever.
