the only soda I like is Sprite by Coca Cola and Mountain Dew by PepsiCo. I like lemony flavors, the rest to me are horrendous .

I like just about any version of lemon lime (ie sprite, 7-up) or cola (ie coke, pepsi) just as long as its not diet(gives me a belly ache ) It really doesn't matter what brand it is. So Coke and pepsi are even on my list.

Actually, I hardly ever drink soda at all (it's called 'pop' in Canada ), but when I do it's either Root Beer (can't stand the actual Pepsi or Coke drinks), Dr. Pepper, or Orange Crush. I also like, from time-to-time, Ginger Ale mixed in with a pure fruit juice, orange or cranberry, especially.

^oh I LOVE Ginger Ale, forgot to put that. Any brand . And I hate anything diet, be it soda or food. Splenda is disgusting .

Tis called coke down here in my area of the south when one says "I'm going to go get a coke" referring to soda in general. I gave up drinking Coke and Pepsi a little over 2 years ago, but I preferred Coke over Pepsi. Now days when I drink a soda, and that's fairly rare, I drink either Sprite or 7-Up. Something without the caramel coloring or the caffeine. I developed an irregular heartbeat when I drank Coke or Pepsi and I was badly addicted to caffeine. So I gave it up.

I can't stand Dr. Pepper or Root Beer.

Ditto the 'blech' with diet pop, GtG. I've heard that splenda and asparatame in drinks, gum, or whatever, are worse for you than the non-diet sugar-based stuff.

It used to be that Dr. Pepper was unavailable in Canada, but that has since changed, hurrah!

I don't like either Coke or Pepsi (although I dislike Pepsi more ). My favorite kinds of pop are Root Beer, Ginger Ale, Sprite, and cream soda.

I think they're both vile, personally.

Yay, a chance to discuss my favorite carbonated beverage! I mostly drink Coca-Cola, but I like Pepsi just as much (don't notice much of a difference, really.) But my favorite soda is Root Beer, especially IBC; The one that comes in the glass bottle? Seems to make it all the better. And I believe it's made with real cane sugar. I also like Barq's (Coke) Root Beer, though, or Mug (Pepsi).

Oh, can't believe I forgot this one... Cherry Coke! Now, there's a great flavor for you. And all fans of the band Rascal Flatts immediately get the song "Mayberry" stuck in their head when they hear Cherry Coke (I wonder how much Coca-Cola paid them for that reference? Hm... ).

Soda's not the most healthiest thing you can drink, but I enjoy it every now and then in moderation.

If I had to choose between coke and pepsi, I'd go with the latter. (But I'd prefer not to drink either. ) In bygone days at the annual Canadian National Exhibition, they 'sold' Pepsi for 1 cent a cup! You should have seen the line-ups! At that time I was one of 'em because I didn't mind the taste of it in my teen years.

Definitely coke. I don't think that Pepsi is disgusting, it's just better when it is bitter cold. Coke is good either way followed by root beer.
