Traditions are one of my favorite things about Christmas. They are one of the things that brings my family together during the holidays. Some of my favorites are picking out our tree at the farm and decorating it together and playing the "ornament game" (rather like "I Spy"). We also usually all pile into the car and go look at Christmas lights. We play the "I See Some! Game" which was invented when we were very small and is definitely only played today for nostalgic purposes. It basically means that any time anyone sees any Christmas lights, they need to yell "I see some!" Basically, that means that everyone in the car is yelling non stop. We were reminded that the "I See Some! Game" is non-competitive and a free for all in order to prevent conflict.

In my family, we do most of our celebrating on Christmas night. After dinner, we drive around town and look at the different light displays people have put on their houses. Then when we get home, we open presents by candlelight.
The next day, we go to the movies, and then invite friends over for Christmas dinner.

What we do is on Christmas Eve we open one present up then we watch a Christmas Movie ( It's a Wonderful Life ) then we try to go to bed. But it's hard knowing that presents are under the tree, then we wake up and open our stockings and eat breakfast (more like squeal and nibble on our cinnamon buns trying to get our Mom and Dad to let us open them) Then we open our presents and hang out and enjoy each other then before lunch we go to our grandparents house and pretty much do the same thing. Then after dinner we usually go to a park called 'Lemon Park' and go see the 'Lemon Park lights' it's really fun and I'm looking forward to it this year!

We open all of are presents on Christmas eve! Before that we go out to eat or order from an Italian place and bring it home. It's soooo much fun. My mom did it when she was a kid. Plus it's more fun opening them up a day early!

we actually always eat fish at christmas and get up at 6am in the morning. Go to my uncles and thats about it.
